Full Name: Belzec
Nickname: Bells
Breed: Arabian
Height: 15.2 HH
Gender: Male
Appearance: Belzec is the typical prissy kind of horse who views himself as very good looking and wants to make sure that everyone else thinks so too. His coat is a light bay with four black stockings that end at different points on each of his legs. His coat is immaculately cleaned and I when I say that I really do mean it. His mane and tail don’t have a hair out of place and although he keeps himself well groomed, the truth is that Belzec isn’t as stunning as he thinks he is. Sure, he looks alright but nothing special
Age: 3 years
Personality: If you could describe Belzec in one phrase then it would be ‘Happy-go-lucky’. He always looks on the bright side of life and has had an extraordinarily easy life as a slave being pampered by his mother and his father when he was young. In some ways he has been shielded from the world’s horror and is so naïve that if something bad were to happen to him, the view on which the whole of his life had been built on would be shattered.
Bells firmly believes in justice and fairness so he hates people who make promises that they don’t keep, and having to do work when you get nothing in return. He is the one who would not give money to charity and when asked why would most likely answer with a reply like, “I don’t know them, it’s none of my business”.
He looks down on others who don’t keep themselves clean and is very opinionated despite all of his herd’s efforts to change his ways. He would happily blame someone else for something wrong that he has done and keep quiet while they were punished because to put it bluntly, he is a coward. He lies and tricks thinking that if they will never be found out then he will never get in trouble and everything will work out. It always works out for him somehow. However, one can’t help but wonder if that view will backfire one day and for once it won’t work out for him. What would such a horse do then?
History:
Belzec was born to a caring mother and father who adored him and took turns caring for him between their slave duties. The herd that they lived in was a kind one and welcomed all foals whether they were slaves’ or not so as Belzec grew up he was painfully ignorant of the fact that he was a slave and forgot his place many times. He was never taught how slaves were less powerful then masters and was told off many times for his backchat and rudeness but no one took note really.
It was when the lead mare died that everything changed. The lead stallion soon died out of grief and although the two had been trying for years, they had never had a foal leaving the pack in turmoil. They gathered together trying to decide who would be the next lead stallion but half way through the assembly a horse called Revaseque said that he would lead the herd and to everyone’s surprise, the three strongest stallions and mares stood beside him in agreement. No one could argue with them and as winter came, Belzec found that Revaseque was not like the late leads. He agreed with slavery and the slaves soon found that it was only a matter of time before he decided on selling all slaves in the herd as apparently they were ‘scum’.
Belzec watched his parents being taken away but just as he was about to follow them he was led away by another bulky stallion to a place that he had never been to before. It was dark and scary and every time he complained he was kicked sharply by the guards next to him. The fortress of ignorance began to crumble as he was pushed into a cage and the guards left and slowly Belzec is learning what it is really like being a slave. Though there is one mystery that he has been thinking about. This is not the auction rock that the former members of his herd had described. It is too dark and the blood that splashes the wall is fresh. He can only keep on breathing and hope with all the heart that he has that he isn’t where he thinks he is. That the rumors aren’t true…
Slave
NOTE:: Belzec is to be killed in clawcaust
