Thief
The thief is lost again. Lost in the world of pain. She knows it is coming for her, She knows the pain will seep into her heart. I looked up at the wolfess, my eyes flickering across her anger and hate filled face. Uh-oh.
"You had better move your sorry behind to my terra quickly Miss for I'll be right on your tail."
My new master growled as she brought her paw down across my hip. My hind legs buckled, and I locked my maw tight, determined not to let a sound escape from my throat. But... ouch. Boy, would that hurt in the morning.
"Move out slave. Head south, I will guide you when we get closer."
She snarled to me, and I smiled wickedly at her, before setting off at a walk. My pads fell onto the dusty ground silently, and my listeners flickered backwards as the howls of the unclaimed slaves faded into the distance.
I turned my feminine head to look at my new master, and a smile pushed it's way past my mask of indifference. The female was larger than I, by many inches, and I knew that she would not take any of my bull cr*p.
The she-wolf moved into a jog, and I followed suit, my stride long and smooth. Graceful even. I held my head high, ignoring the clank of the chain that wound it's way around my neck.
I turned my head, and let my orbs raked over the femme's tan, muscled body, and finally rested on her orange eyes. I could nearly see her mind ticking over, and instantly, somehow, I knew that I was in for it. I turned my head away, and looked around at my surroundings.
The air was considerably warmer, and the dusty ground had disappeared. We had been walking for over an hour now, and I waited for the wolfess to tell me the knew directions.
I turned my head again, and let my brown orbs watch the Master again. My hackles rose as she studied me, and I bared my ivory fangs slightly, eyes narrowing. I turned my head once more, and despite my out-of-breath state, picked up the pace a little.
After a little while longer, perhaps an hour, the femme had finally spoken, after a long and silent trip.
"My land is just around the next bend."
The femme stated, and I breathed a quiet sigh of relief. I slowed my pace down, catching my breath slightly, and waited for my new master to give the next directions.
I slowed to a walk, muscles tensed, as I left the sun behind. The cold and dank place quickly seeped through my fur, and into my skin, casting a shiver down my spine. I raised my cranium, and sniffed the air.
"Nice territory," I sneered, casting my brown orbs carelessly around the place.

ooc: Sorry I've had a muse problem lately!
Again another sneer from this over confident femmae! Keen knew she would have trouble with this one. This little wolf will be bruised from head to toe before the end of the week, or at least extremely sore. It was the only way to deal with these arrogant wolves.
"Yes, it is nice defensively and soon you will know this territory from top to bottom."
They had just emerged on the other side of the fog that lay around the territory and now stood at the base of the mountain. Seeing a large out cropping at the top of the mountain she began to climb up the base. The moutain was wooded until about half way up. Then the trees grew sparce and it became more of a tundra landscape. Even farther up snow cappedthe mountain. The out cropping they had seen was just above the wood line.
Her body twirled through the trees avoided the many wild roses that grew on the mountain side. She seen some odd wildlife coming up the mountail. There were deer the color of slate with white spots on their hide. A rabbit jumped out of the brush with the longest floppy ears she had ever seen. Keen let it pass but she was curious about the purpose of the ears. Most likely the ears were used to lay on the rabbits back during the winter months to keep warm.
The ground started to level out at the end of the wooded area. The muscles in her shoulders and hindquarters were just starting to ache from the hall up the mountain and she marveled at the shape this place would put her in. A deep breathe poored into her lungs. The freshness of the air amazed her. It was crisp and cold; almost hurting her chest as she pulled it in. Keen padded over to the edge of the mountain and through up her head. A long howl blew into the noon sky. Thaw would appear on the ledge soon enough.
"Get something to eat while we're waiting."
This had been a long day. Keen couldn't wait to turn this female over to Thaw so she could take a long energizing nap.

You underestimate me, Think I am weak. But let me show you, How strong I can be.
I looked around at the misty place, and my ears and eyes flickered back and forth nervously. I slowed my pace now, stepping with caution as my instincts kicked in. I became wary as my new surroundings, my new home, revealed itself.
My brown orbs roamed the base of the large mountain that they were standing at, and a small whistle escaped my locked kissers. I watched as the femme started to climb, and not wishing to be punished by climbing down, then back up, followed my new Master.
I let my orbs rake over the mountain's features, and disbelief coloured my expression. At the top, a layer of snow completely covered the tip of the mountain, fading slowly to the few scattered trees here and there, before coming down to the forest that they were weaving through now.
My paws hurt like crazy, and I stumbled every third or so step. My muscles screamed in protest, and my breath came in rasping gasps through my maw. I was so unfit! I felt embarrassed, ashamed of myself. But what could I do about it?
The wild rose bushes seemed to reach out their spiny stems to claw at my matted and dirty coat. I flinched in shock as the unfamiliar beings crept silently around us, but recovered quickly. I would hate to let the thoughts of me being a weakling run through the femme's head.
We came to a stop on the outcrop of rock that we had seen before, and she walked forward. The master lifted her head to the sky, filled with the oxygen of the fresh mountain air.
The femme let out a long, loud howl of one to a pack member, and my listeners flattened instantly. I knew that this member would not be the kindest person of all to me. She spoke from the tip of the rock outcrop, and my listeners strained to hear over the howling wind.
"Get something to eat while we're waiting."
The femme said, and I didn't need telling twice. I bounded down the mountain slope, to a place where I had seen before while climbing. My listeners swiveled on my crown, straining to hear a soft footfall of something edible, and my keen eyes sweeped the floor.
My nose twitched, and I turned my feminine head to catch sight of a small fawn. I crouched low, and prowled close enough to leap. I raised myself off the ground, and with a surge of power, my hind legs pushed my petite body off the ground; I landed right in front of the fawn, and I grabbed it's neck, twisting my own in a way so that it's neck broke. It fell limply to the ground, and I took a large hunk of meat off of it's steaming carcass, munching happily as my famished stomach growled greedily.

Thaw
My recent meeting with Keen had left me slightly bewildered and confused. I had a rank now, but really, that wasn't too impressive. The pack consisted of te two of us, barley enough to even call a pack, but I accepted just the same. Yet that wasn't why I had stayed, no, I couldn't quite put my paw upon the matter, but I felt a need to stay near to the impressive female that I had grown to respect.
Shaking my head silently I tried to dislodge these distracting thoughts, instead concentrating on knowing every inch of this place I now called home. Time would come when I would need to know all of it's secrets, and I was determined to not be caught out.
A sound caught my interest, the feint padding and rustling of moving feet filtered through my lobes. Wolves, the scent fresh upon the breeze. I of course recognized Keens, but the other was alien to me. My black lips lifted revealing shining white teeth. No sound escaped my maw, but I watched them ascend the mountain with my ice blue eyes. Interesting, a new member to enter the misty lands. On silent paws I followed, ghosting through the palpable fog like a phantom.
I stopped just below them, cocking my head slightly at the sound of Keens howl. I found it almost laughable that she had not sensed me so close by. The female that followed her seemed somewhat unfit, brathing heavily from their climb. Keens voice penetrated the dense mists, her words muffled yet strangley loud.
"Get something to eat while we're waiting."
I watched as the newest member of our small obscure pack left to find food. My ideal chance to slip beside Keen silently and talk to her. My movements were fluid, graceful even as I sat myself down beside her. My icy orbs flickered over her lithe frame taking in every detail. A smile curled my black lips as I spoke.
"Interesting choice. What prey am I supposed to do with one that can't even climb a mountain? She's in for a tough time poor thing."
But there was no sympathy in my voice. I was a hunter, a fighter, a warrior, I had no time for wolves who didn't take pride in their lands, their pack or even themselves. I would train her, no doubt my harsh methods would drive her to distractions, but she would be better for it. One day, she would thank me.

ooc: I'm sorry I haven't been on. My brother's dog died and I didn't feel comfortable rping with Keen for the first few days. This is a struggle for me so bear with me.
The wind changed direction and immediately she smelled Thaw. Still she looked out over the cliff she was sitting at. The veiw was amazing. The tops of the trees were just peaking up over the mist. And after the mist escaped valleys, meadows and moutains galore! Thaw's paw steps came to her ears and soon he was sitting next to her; still she stared at the magnificant scene below.
"Interesting choice. What prey am I supposed to do with one that can't even climb a mountain? She's in for a tough time poor thing."
Thaw's remark made a smile crawl across her maw. She closed her eyes and began to chuckle. Of course Thaw would know already, it was just his style.
"The guards didn't know what to do with her Thaw. She was too smart for them. Since she had been there for quite some time I figured she had lost a significant amount of muscle mass. You'll be able to handle it. I'm sure of it. Find her strengths and build on them."
Keen felt an odd urge to lick his cheek. Still she cast her eyes out over the horizon. Her ears however were swiveled more toward Thaw as to hear his response. The tip of her tail twitched in a wagging type of motion. If the femmae didn't come back from her hunt soon Keen would call for her. The sun showed that it was about four paces after noon.
"I'd like you to give her a lesson before we sleep tonight. She is nod to be given any pity for she is a tricky one this femmae."
She nodded in confirmation of her order. It would be carried out or there would be consiquences. The day was starting to wear on her and a yawn threatened to escape from her mouth but she was able to swallow it. Watching this lesson of Thaw's would be interesting though and she was in anticipation waiting for it. Hopefully that young femmae would arive soon before she tested Keen's patience. Her whiskers twitched as she again battle with a yawn.

Thief
Try and catch me, If you dare. Good luck finding me, 'Cause us Thief's aren't meant to be found. I had not heard, nor see the male as I headed off to find food, my first decent meal for over a year. I could hear them talking now, the male and my new Master, but I could not make out any words.
As I finish off the small fawn, I lick my ivory fangs clean of blood and meat, as I start back towards the overhang. My paws moved silently, swiftly over the ground as I wove my way once more through the dense undergrowth.
My light chocolate coat shimmered in the dim light that filtered through the trees, broken by the branches and leaves overhead. Soon it beat down onto my back as I came into view of the brute and femmae ahead of me, and I slowed my pace.
My dark eyes narrowed, ears flicking back as my top lip curled over my blood-stained fangs. I directed my sharp gaze to the male, letting my orbs rake over his well-built bodice. A growl slid between my bared fangs, announcing my presence.
"Oh, look here. We've got a little pup on the lands."
I sneer, my smile mocking as I stop just out of paw's reach. My muscles underneath my thin coat tensed, ready to react if anything should happen.
"How cute!"
A laugh escapes my maw as I throw my head back, still keeping a wary eye on the two wolves. I knew that in someway, I would pay for that, but that would come soon enough. I had taken a drink from a small puddle on the way up, and with that and my recent meal, I was starting to feel a little over-confident. Probably not good in my state.
My brown eyes studied my surroundings. I had the trees behind me, thickening a great deal if you made your way down the mountain. I had the snow up the mountain, and who knows what else around the other sides, and the overhang in front of me.
And I was in no fit state to be running a few miles. Even the brute knew that, and how, I did not know. Taking a wary step back, my sharp gaze looked from the femme to the brute, reading their emotions.

Thaw
So I had my very first student. A student that was as unfit as a old cart horse no less. What in Gods name did Keen expect me to achieve from this female tonight? I would have bade the female rest and start our training afresh in the morning, but Keen had other ideas and as second in command, I could do nothing but obey, for now at least. For I would allow Keen to think she had he upper hand, that I had become an obedient lap dog, only to show her that I could never be tamed when she least expected it. Not that I would harm her, no, I had grown fond of this strange, dominant femme, but I would only take so much before I dug my heels in and refused. That would be the point where me and Keen would surley come to blows, weather the outcome be good or bad, I would just have to wait and see. But not yet, not now. This wasn't the time or the place.
I watched the brown hued female approach us with calm, cool eyes. Her growl amused me some but my expression remained static, not even comprehending that she had announced herself so. Instead I just gazed at her, assessing her. Her words were another matter. Keen had said she was too smart for the guards, I didn't doubt that. She was also smart mouthed, a habit that I would break her of if it went too far, but for now I admired her courage. Not many wolves would presume they could insult me and live to tell the tale, but this show of confidence boded well for the future.
I laughed, my bark like tones echoing through the thickly fogged landscape. This femme was indeed strong willed, but also foolish. Even I wouldn't challenge a wolf bigger and stronger than me with months, maybe years of neglect and malnutrition behind me. Only a stupid wolf who didn't wish to live very long did things like that. I knew, I had been that wolf not too long ago. I had despised myself, despised my life and what I had done, what I had become. I had seen an escape when Keen took me as a slave, goading her to make my end swift, but alas, she never took the bait, and now look at us?
"She's got spirit at least. That's something I can work with anyway"
I spoke to Keen, yet looked at the female, showing her a certain amount of disconcern of her blood stained and snarling teeth.
"I guess we should get started then. Maybe you should have thought twice about calling me a pup darlin, as you're going to be under my instruction for the next several weeks. Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life! You got a name love?"
My tone remained jovial and lighthearted. Storing the jibe she had dealt for a later date. For now I would put her through her paces and try to assess what her strengths and weaknesses were. It was only after this had been discovered that I could continue with her training fully.
(OOC: OMG this is probably the longest post I've ever done on here 568 words lol )

"Oh look, we've got a little pup on the lands. How cute." The little femmae was already sneering at Thaw. Hopefully he would see the reason to start her lessons tonight. This wolfess could not be allowed to blow off her superiors at whatever whim she found suitable.
A grin found its way onto Keen's maw. She wanted to see how Thaw would handle this. It would be somewhat of a test of his authority on the way he handled this wolf.
"She's got spirit at least. That's something I can work with anyway"
Keen nodded.
"I would expect nothing less of you."
Her eyes showed that she truly did expect that of him. If he couldn't pull this through, well, she would begin to wonder just to say the least.
"I guess we should get started then. Maybe you should have thought twice about calling me a pup darlin, as you're going to be under my instruction for the next several weeks. Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life! You got a name love?"
Keen didn't like that he called her 'darlin' and 'love'. Jealosy boiled up in her when she heard hm talk. Soon though it was overridden by another thought.
It just dawned on her that she had not even asked for the femmae's name. How thoughtless of her! Ahh, well it would be given to her momentarily. Keen stared at the two wolves and waited for this thing to play out before her.
She started to wonder at what Thaw would do. Running? No, Thaw would be more creative than that. A fight to prove dominance? It was a possibility but she doubted it. Hmm, maybe a swim then? The cold water of a spring at the top of the mountain would certaintly sting; along with the climb up and back down the mountain would be painful to the wolfess.
A smile creeped onto her lips as she thought of that last option she had come up with. Surely that, an early morning tomorrow, a hard day and rinse, wash, and repeat and that wolfess would be begging to obey whatever command she or Thaw gave her. The toothy grin still appearedon her maw as she 'awoke' from her thoughts and turned her attention back to the little female.
Thaw would handle this effortlessly she knew it. Keen was bubbling with excitement to watch this wolf take care of the little femmae. It was oddly unlike her to want to see this wolfess suffer so but after Thaw had called her 'dalin' and 'love' she longed to see her suffer.

I stared down the brute with my cold eyes, and my listeners flickered back and forth warily as I tried to find any emotions as the words tumbled out of my mouth. I could feel his eyes raking up and down my thin, shaggy coat with my ribs sticking out and sweat drying. I must admit, I was not in the best state.
I ran my rough tongue over my dry nose, and strained to hear the words that tumbled from the brute's maw. I flinched a little as laughter rippled from his teeth, and he eyed me with something like interest.
"She's got spirit at least. That's something I can work with anyway"
He still looked at me, with those calm and steady eyes, and I did not like it. My hackles rose along my back and I curled my top lip more, baring those red-stained fangs of mine. My feet flexed, aching to wipe that look off his face permanently.
"I would expect nothing less of you."
My master, whose name I still did not know, looked at the brute who spoke first, with eyes that showed she meant her words. A smile crept across my feminine features, as I watched her emotions play in her eyes. A slide show that I was quite enjoying.
"I guess we should get started then. Maybe you should have thought twice about calling me a pup darlin, as you're going to be under my instruction for the next several weeks. Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life! You got a name love?"
Something about the way he spoke, made me chill all over. My ears went flat against my cranium, and my muscles tensed. I didn't like him talking to me like I was a mis-behaved child, and I could tell that the other femmae did not like it much either.
I laughed, throwing back my head as the sound rippled from my maw.
"Yeah, I got a name. Thief, is what they call me. There's a longer version, but why would I tell you such things? Sounds like you'll get to know me in the next month or so."
I paused, just to scratch a spot on my neck that had been bugging me for a while. I then directed my dark orbs to my Master, and smiled sweetly and innocently at her.
"You better watch your words though, 'love' and 'darlin' don't seem to please Master, much."
I laughed again, my smile one of the crazed, as my brown eyes took in the femme and brute before me, once again. I can guess that the male did not like me much, and he would soon enough put me in my place. But, I guess I would prefer to have my cake, and eat it too. OOC: Hey guys. Please, do excuse me for not replying sooner. I am back at school (Ugh) and have been dumped with homework. Mind you, I have to keep on top with riding and other sports, so I am a little worn out. Homework + little sleep + early mornings = Not happy Pixie with no muse... D=

Thaw
Calmly my icy orbs remained trained upon the female, listening to Keen I found I followed every cadence of her voice, rising and falling rythmically from her lips. But I couldn't allow myself to be caught up in such musings. Why did I take such notice of such trivial things anyway? No, my attentions would have to be on a single thought, a single notion and that would be the training of the young female Keen had so delightfully put into my care. As my thoughts took on a more sarcastic note I began to lose those confusing thoughts of Keen and begin to muse over the things I would get this girl, this thief to do.
First things first, I would have to test the limitations of the girl, assess what her strengths were and her downfalls, and strat from there. It was quite obvious the fae had a smart mouth, but did she have the wits and agility to go with it? That of course would all come out in the wash. Thief spoke, that note of insubordination still prominent in her tone, her words made me glance briefly at Keen. She spoke truth, Keen seemed to bear a slightly annoyed expression upon her face, did she dislike my choice of words? Again those confusing thoughts entered my head.
With a vigerous shake of my black coat I dislodged all concerns, focusing on the task at hand.
"Well then missy, lets get started shall we?"
Rising to all fours I towered above her, maybe I did it to intimidate Thief, or maybe I did it to show Keen that I meant nothing with the pet names. I didn't know, or care at this point, I needed to get this test started before I lost too much of the night.
"First things first, reflexes. Here's what we're gonna do. Thief, you're gonna close your eyes, and I'm going to attack you. This will outline just how much you rely upon your sight instead of your other senses. Speed, and awareness are essential in this test."
Granted the first test wouldn't exhaust the female, something which I had the feeling Keen would have liked, but she had given me the task of training this fae, therefore I would go about the process properly.

This fae, this 'Thief' was right; hard as it was to admit. Keen didn't enjoy Thaw's choice of words. She had no idea why but they just made her feel icky inside and then a sharp emptiness and this feeling of loss. Their was an urge to shake herself that came over her.
Forcing herself to continue to be attentive to what Thaw would do next without getting herself all worked up about it. A smirk forced its way onto Keen's maw. The wolfess liked the way he thought. The test he had picked is something she herself would have chosen to do. She was impressed and if Thaw couldn't see that on her face she didn't know how much more obvious she could make it without actually saying it.
Wind blasted the side of the moutain. It had run through the forest below and carried the normal scents of the forest. A snarl escape her lips and she stood. Her body itched to run and face what she had descovered.
"Thaw, I have to leave. I'm sure you know why. Take 'care' of her."
Keen's voice was harsh and she wasn't planning on making it any softer anytime soon. A male dog was in her territory. He dared to trespass on her land! Leaping from the cliff another outcropping caught her about six feet below. The landin was hard on her joints but she stiffed the pain and ran on. It wasn't the most fluid movement, that jump, but it was sufficient and did what she wanted it to. Keen was preparing herself for a fight mentally, and hyping herself physically to meet this challenge.
The one thought that bothered her was that Thaw would follow her. If he did they would both be in danger and the challenger, the one who she trusted least would take over her territory. If he didn't follow at least there would be another chance to retake her territory if she was beaten or killed for the challenger would need to pass Thaw also. She was light on her feet as she ran and the wind whipped her fur. If this challenger could beat them both he deserved this land but she doubted that and prayed it would not come to pass. Before she aproached this male she slowed and caught her breathe. Adrenaline was gushing through her veins and instinct would take over if she wasn't careful. A calm rush swept through her mind and Keen became calm. She as ready and she would not lose.
