Roaming long and far, Xercese had lead his beloved new companion Hayashi by rivers, streams and all of the above. Stopping in caves or in plain open fields and lifting their voices together towards the moon, the powerful paws of Xercese took him to these lone lands. With a sniff to determine how many were there, and a yip to tell Hayashi that the wolf-count was few, he had entered the land.
Xercese had no real intention of letting a piece of land like this slip through his maw. It was small, true, but the leader of it was also without many members to defend his position with him. It would be a quick take for Hayashi and him. If he could manage to establish a powerful pack, he might be able to lead a mass movement of slave-freeing. A ridiculous thing, that whole slave thing was. Glancing around, he turned his head towards Hayashi. Oh, how pretty she was... it sent his hormones whizzing just to think of the pups he might someday sire with her. Wagging his high-held tail, the wolf perked his ears, inviting her to come. "We're here. I don't know where the leader is, but without good scouts and a nice pack, he will be easy to overcome"

Hayashi trotted in behind him and licked his shoulder. She lifted her head as the wind buffeted her fur, and looked around at all the land. Ah, she knew what they were doing, and her eyes were gleaming with fury. She swished her tail and looked over to Xercese, wondering about their future. Well, we wait here? Or are we going further? She tilted her head to the side and sat down, her pelt gleaming and rustling about in the wind.

They were at the border just then, and it felt kind of nice to have Hayashi support his actions. With a fond nuzzle on her neck, a lick to a cheek, and an affectionate nip, he rose to his paws and said "Yes, lets go further... After all, why simply lurk around the edges?" Walk-trotting forwards, he raised his head in blissful pleasure. How wonderful it was to have a fae to tread with! The lands were beautiful, and the world seemed to embrace him.

She stood back up and darted after him, excitement rushing through her veins. She was glad to have company at the moment, and she certainly liked this brute more than anyother person that had ever treated her nicely. She grinned to herself and picked up her pace to match his, running/trotting slowly behind him. It was a beautiful place, everything was here. She looked about her, her eyes showing all she was feeling. She grinned and picked up her pace, pulling ahead of the brute.

With a deep, barking laugh, Xerc launched full-tilt after her, speeding up and, with a wry smile in her direction passing her. He loved to feel his muscles work like that; to just feel them working like the pistons in a machine. It was like flying. His fur ruffled madly around him, but he didn't care. Excitement, adrenaline, and desire were coursing through his veins and sending his senses whirling. Ahh! The pure joy of living! he wanted to just flop down in the long grass with his new companion and gaze at the cloud-filled sky together... just do anything.... as long as it was together.

Hayashi grinned and ran faster, matching his pace. This mus be a big territory, she though, for they had been running fast for a while. Her eyes shined with sheer joy, but that wouldn't last for long for there would be a battle up ahead soon enough, and that wouldn't be considered 'fun'. Mainly because Hayashi hated force and everything to do with it, but right now she pushed that aside and was happy for the moment, her life pracitcally saved by this brute. No, she would repay him later, right now she needed to pay attention. She cursed herself for always being distraction all the time by something.

Grinning, he slowed down long enough to let her get ahead a pace, then launched himself at her, playfully aiming to tackle her to the ground. His eyes glittered with his emotions, sparkling like amber-colored diamonds. He loved it here... and by golly, he was going to claim this land if it killed him.

Hayashi rolled over as he tackled her, him landing on her. She grinned and licked his cheek, staring into his eyes. She never had seen them so beautiful. She wondered how far they came into the territory. Maybe, half way? She didn't know. She shook her head to keep her mind from traveling too far. She closed her eyes, enjoying the sun. She opened them again and looked back up at Xercese, smiling, her eyes gleaming. Her veins were pounding with excitement, Ah, the fun at being free.

Looking down at her, Xerc felt his senses whirl. A grin played about his features. "Does my dove want to have pups in the future?" his voice softened with anticipation. "It is the season, after all..." He met her eyes with his own... bliss never felt so good. It made him quiver with anticipation, and he reached his muzzle out to Hayashi, brushing her cheek with his own and giving a soft growl of pleasure in her ear.

Hayashi flicked her eyes up to him and pushed her head aside his. Yes, my love, I am as sure as I would ever want to be. She licked his shoulder affectionally and leaned back again, looking into his eyes, her own deep pools of emotion. Pups that she actually had a decision on, that didn't come often, she couldn't turn it away. She had been forced pups before, but most had been killed or sent away. This she wouldn't mind doing, for most likely she would have a say in it.

With a satisfied growl, he leaned in closer. Her stomach fur felt like heaven against his body.... he gingerly nuzzled her, gently meeting her and depositing a little bit of himself in her. His eyes were closed as he let all action get taken over by what his body was doing. He layed on her, their bodies against each other, pressed together in happiness. It felt sooooooo good to finally fulfill his needs. He would have kin! and a mate. He overflowed with confidence and passion.... this land would be his now.
(After my next post, shall we pause this until the current alpha comes? Lol... that would be an awkward way to find intruders)

Hayashi shuddered for a moment. His fur was smooth and comfortable, unlike most brutes. Hayahsi, too, leaned as close as she could to him and did her part. She was free, had a mate and soon kin. What more could she ask for? Pure bliss, she thought as her eyes danced happily. She wanted to stay here like this forever, with just him. But yet she knew there was claiming to do. She sighed as the thought and matched her movements with him. She licked his ear gently and thought about the future to come, of their kin and if this land would soon be theirs. She had a feeling that it wouldn't come easily, but yet of course, nothing did. She cleared her thoughts yet once again. Now Hayashi was completed, happy, and thankful. Hayashi felt this was somewhat her way of repaying him for freeing her, though she felt differently anyway.

Xercese felt a shiver go up his spine as she met him, and he allowed his body to go limp on her. His amber eyes closed halfway as he savored the feeling. His hormones rushed him full-tilt, and he felt he had the ability to do anything. He laid his muzzle on Hayashi, and just lay there. His mind flickered back to the day when he had his mother. Only her company had satisfied him then... now, he felt that only Hayashi's presence would sooth what mood he had. He allowed himself to lay on his side by her, so they were now side by side, laying in the grass, belly to belly. His paw lay limply over her shoulder... and they slowly drifted off to sleep as the sky slipped over the horizon and night came and went.
Heaven came with the morning... and a soft mist twirled around them. Xercese slowly opened his eyes... his chin had been pressed against his mate's brow... he had unattached himself from her when the slept, and the urge was barely gone now. Still... he nuzzled himself even closer to her. That's when his nose picked up the scent of the other wolf... The scent was there and had faded, almost as if the wolf had seen him then gone. There was nothing there. It was there land a rumbling growl of joy surfaced and he pressed his muzzle into his mate's side. They were home

Passing through his beautiful lands with a sense of peace, Shiranui was disgusted to find that his homeland now bore the scent of intruders. A snarl ripped through his maw and he clamped down on it, barely holding on to the beserker frenzy that threatened at the ragged edges of his mind. In most aspects Shiranui was a friendly and peaceable wolf, but he had to do all he could to forget the darker feelings in his mind. If he didn't, if he lost control, he would shatter into an enraged creature that couldn't truly be called intelligent. A battling monstrosity that saw through a red veil until it tired and gave it's host body back to the cooler, more peaceful mind also residing there.
Picking up a leisurely two-beat, the blue-grey male held his dark side in check and used the long trot to cool his mind. Nothing he did could keep him from feeling a hint of rage at the thought of his land being stolen but as far as he could tell there had been no challenge issued and therefore he was safe in his own stronghold and these newcomers intruders on land that belonged to him alone.
He knew he was coming closer to them, but as he started searching on the boundaries he realized they had gone deeper into his sanctuary and followed the scent trail with urgent steps. Feeling agitated and upset, Shiranui knew he would have to fight to keep a handle on his emotions to avoid the bloodbath his other half so badly wanted. An incident he truly wanted to avoid at all costs.
He passed through his realm on confident paws that knew the terrain as a second skin and, finally, he came upon two wolves that were obviously madly in love.
The blue-roan male allowed a proud growl free of his ivory fangs as his snow-hued paws padded to a silent halt and he watched the trespassers with sharp grey eyes as his vocals released a string of words to their ears.
I would welcome you to Yuurin and show you the sights but it seems you have already seen them. Mind telling me why you have broken my boundaries and entered my land without permission? he called, his voice sharp and full of a warning, but still as friendly as he could keep it under the circumstances. The last thing Shiranui wanted was a fight, for he knew that the consequences would be dire if such a thing were to happen. ((Sorry I took so long to reply, guys ^^" I've been pretty sick and I'm only just getting better.... It might be a while until I'm back to normal and able to get on all too often so go easy on me 'till then, kay? lolz)) |

"Your land? hah!"A laugh burbled up in Xercese's throat, and, with a small nuzzle of assurance to his sleeping mate, he rose up and looked with authority at the other wolf. "This land has been vacant for many a long day. I have claimed it along with my mate, and we will birth the pups we created in our land here aswell." he nuzzled her, then glanced back up at the other. wolf and gave a toothy smile. "I am quite sure you can leave my land now..." here he paused, his upper lip loosing that smileish feel and getting a more deadly snarl "Because I grow weary of your presence. You may either stay in the pack I will have, or you may leave... and never come back"
