Welcome to the Willows (for Ayelle)

Demontor trotted into his territory with Ayelle in tow. "Would you like something to drink" Demon asked while walking over to the small pond and dipping his muzzle into the water. After taking a few gulps of water Demon lifted his head to look at Ayelle. Walking over to her he inspected the wound he had given her making sure one last time that it wasnt infected. "Well" He said as he raised an eyebrow.

I watched my master drink and when he finished I leaned over and took a drink myself. Soft and quick the water filled my dry mouth. As soon as I quickly finished I trotted back to Demon. The wound on my back still stung as any did, but didn't sting so much it felt infected. I dipped my head in a thank to my master.

"Is there anything you need Master?"

My voice asked the proper question many slaves should ask. My ears twitched as I listened to a bird chirping loudly in a nearby tree. I scanned the area with my deep black orbs.

Demon smiled at the young mare. "No Ayelle there isn't" Demon watched as she scanned his land. "If you'd like you may roam my territory" He knew he put to much trust into this little filly but he figured she would much rather be with him than some cruel as hell brute. Turning Demon strode the the Willows that formed a circle in the middle of the land. Looking over his shoulder he looked to see what Ayelle chose to do.

I glanced at Demon than at the lovely lands. No, you care for master than your own desires, my fathers voice rang through my mind. I dipped my head in a thanks

"No thank you, Masters needs come first. I can explore at another time."

I smelt the air slightly and sniffed in the freshness. Much nicer than the air at the rock. I rubbed a hoof against a nearby rock than trotted over towards Demon. I glanced one more at the pretty land than didn't look back

Demon raised and eyebrow. "Are you sure" He paused watching as she trotted over to him. "I am not like most master's i do not need a slave to tend to me every second of the day." He frowned slightly as he watched her look back at the land sighing he moved over to her. "As your master i command you to go and explore the land." He smiled slightly. "Just be back before sundown." Standing there he swished his tail and waited to see if she would protest.

I dipped my head. I suppose it would be allright, afterall I was commanded to explore. I swished my tail and looked back at the land. I guess I wouldn't protest

"If you ask so Master, I will be back by Sundown"

I looked at him once to see if he was lying or not. Before I trotted down and started Exploring Willow Grove. My orbs flickered to see the famillier bird that was chirping earlier. I watched it as it fluttered away. I continued on and admired a large tree.

Demon smiled at Ayelle. Turning he walked into the circle of willows. The grass was shorter than it was outside and it was darker becouse of the trees hiding the sun. Sighing he laid down and rolled. Resting his head on the ground he thought of everything that had happened. Knowing that if his father could see him now he would just laugh in Demon's face and probably try and kill him. Demon sighed and fell asleep an image of his father still in his mind.

I felt eyes sting my back. I turned and saw nothing. Shivering I continued on in the forest. When I felt that feeling again I turned and hissed slightly. This time I could hardly see something. It was a carving into a tree. Just an odd carving. I nuzzled my nose against it and felt the lines. Its odd marking shone to me. I grinned and looked at the sky. It would hit Sundown in a bit, so I had to head back. I dipped my head in fairwell to the odd tree and turned back towards where I came.

Demon roused from his sleep. Yawning he got up and walked out of his dark haven. Turning to look at the sun he saw it was nearly sundown. Smirking he walked over to the water and got a drink. He turned and walked over to a clear part in his field of tall grass which went up to his chest. He loved to watch the sunset something that his mother and he used to do alot. He hoped now he could do it with a special companion.

I had decided I wouldn't run. I'd just go back to Demon like a good little slave. Although the idea had crossed my head. A shook my head and my mane flung around my neck. I looked up and turned a bit faster. Now at a gallop. I couldn't be late of course. I returned to the clearing and looked around. Relizing he wasn't there. I turned and saw a hill. I rested a hoove up and started to go upward to him
Finally reaching my master. I spoke softly

"Are you okay Master?"

Demon turned and smiled. "hmmh yes i am" He turned back to watch the sunset. "I do love sunsets" He said more to himself then to Ayelle. Demon looked up at the sky and saw it darkening. "Tell me Ayelle did you ever watch the sunset with your mother?" Demon asked clearly in deep concentration. Wading through the tall grass he walked a few feet away then sat down facing his circle of willow trees.

I glanced at the pretty sunset. My heart swelled with joy as I watched the nice colors. I watched my master.
"Tell me Ayelle did you ever watch the sunset with your mother?"
These words slightly stung my heart like a wasp. I looked at my hooves. At the ground with the worms and fresh grass. My mum, she died pretty soon after birth, right when I was finally ready to stop nursing. I knew she was killed by my father. He never mentioned it. But I knew.

"Actually Master, my mother was killed when I finished nursing. I was much too young to even know of the sunsets."

My words slightly cracked as I said the words 'my mother'. Hardly noticable to anyone but me.

Demon looked at her. "So you never watched the sun set with ur mother" Demon's voice was quiet. "What about with anyone else?" Demon was upset that his slave didn't even get to see a sunset with her mother. Why was he upset he asked himself. Shaking his head he cleared his head and watched as the sun set and the stars came out. Looking up at the beautiful star filled sky Demon sighed.

OOC Sure

I watched the sky with interest. I never even gave a thought to the sky, I was always much too busy with my old masters. I looked down ashamed and shook my head.

"No master, I haven't"

My ears burned with ashame and I couldn't look at anyone in the eye. I felt like an outcast at times. I had no family and didn' ever see little meanings in life. It made me feel awkward sometimes.
