Age: 3 years
Personality:
Bella is gentle, quiet and somewhat timid. In the care of the right master she is attentative and willing to please, taking great pleasure in even a little praise. However if she is treated cruelly she becomes withdrawn nervous and flighty. She will remain obedient, but out of fear not respect.
History:
Bella was born into a small herd of free-roamers and remained
their happily for some time. In fact, she was born to the two leaders and this coupled with her kind nature made her very well-respected in the herd. Her parents taught her about the horrible life some poor horses had to live at the hands of cruel masters, and overtime she grew to pity them passionately, as well as fear that she to may one day be caught. Her fears weren't realised till she was eight months old.
Bella and her mother had been grazing together in a small clearing on the outskirts of their herd's territory. It was a peaceful place; with cool shade provided by the high trees and the gentle sound of rushing water coming from a small brook. Everything seemed fine until the bushes surrounding the clearing rustled and two horses, one a large bay stallion, the other a dappled grey mare, marched forward. As it turned out, the strangers were slaves sent by their master to find free-roamers and enslave them, so that they could then be sold. Bella's mother died trying to protect her daughter's freedom and little Bella was dragged away from the corpse to live the life of a slave.
The first few months were perhaps the worst for Bella. Her captors walked tirelessly from sun-up to sun-down, and Bella's young body could hardly bare it. By the time she arrived at her destination, auctioning rocks, the poor filly was dangerously underweight and close to death. Luckily she was picked up by a kind master who had her healed and then set her to various different manual tasks. When he died unexpectedly, Bella was sent back to the rocks, where she has been ever since.
Picture: None, sorry. I might get one soon.
