[right[Full Name: Aist Nickname: Trips; Three; Ay Breed: Eurasian Wolf Height: 29 inches Gender: She-wolf Appearance: Aist has a soft, caring looking face. Her nose is angular and seems to be a bit sharper looking and straight than the average wolf, even the average maned wolf. She has a jet black muzzle that seems to be darker than her very-dark-but-actually-gray nose. Going up her face, the black seems to blend to a dusty white/gray color with straks of red. Moving up towards the top of her head and ears, just above her wide-set eyes, it blends into the flame-color of the rest of her body. Her eyes are large, almond shaped that are a bright amber color like gold with streaks of silver. Her teeth are sharp and seem softer than they actually are. They are quite white, surprisngly, and seem to be nicely straightened. Her tounge is longer and a pale pink color. She has large ears, one that seem almost too big for her skull. The insides of her ear is coated with white fur to keep her warm during the winter, and allowing more sounds to enter. Her ears, on the outside, are a dark red color that seems to grow darker at the tips.
Aist has a slim build that seems to allow her to move quite quickly. Her legs are all long and lean, that go from a dark red color and ending up a pitch black on her tiny, lithe paws. Her claws are a white color that seem to have a red tinge, almost like blood, on the edges. Oh, and coming from her lilthe frame is only three legs. On her back left leg, it is just a stump, with a bloodred edge and longer with fur, so you cannot see the stump. Her tail is longer than normal mane-wolf length, and seems to flare out near the bottom and seems to deepen until the end, until it goes to a dark grey-like color. Her frame has a large chest area and seems to be very healthy in build. Her back is arched and the spine isn't really visable. Aist's fur is extremely thick, but has the apperance of being thin. It is also quite short. Overall she is quite a nice-looking wolf Age: 2 summers of life. Personality:
Aist is a very calm sort of wolf. She isn't exactially the type to snap and tends to be the one who calms everybody down and thinks rationally. Aist is sort of the 'peace-maker' in any fights, she'll be the one who throws herself between two fighters, tooth and claw, and just calm them both down. She can soemtimes be described as a calming dog, so just being a bit around her presence can make you calm, as hard as it to explain. Aist tends to not like to fight, as in she'll try to think rationally and try to calm the other down, but if she has to, Aist has her own set of tooth and claws. She is just a very peace-loving type of creature, almost like something the upwalkers call 'hippies'.
Aist is also a very generous sort of wolf. She tends to be the one who will give her last piece of meal to a starving wolf or the one to take in the younger wolf who has no place to be. One of the many nicknames that Aist has been given is 'Mother', as she is always being a bit motherly to every wolf she meets. Aist has a gentle soul, which makes her seem like she wouldn't hurt a fly, this is not the case. Aist can get to be a very ferocious wolf when she needs to be, her slim bodice allowing her some good running time and quick instincts with her pointer background, her claws are just as deadly as a lions, however small and delicate they seem.
Aist is a very skilled animal, don't let her softer demeanor get her down. She is skilled with herbs as most dogs are skilled with more advanced fighting tecniques. Aist started to learn about healing after her small brother died of an unknown sickness. She likes the scent of the different flowers and leaves, and tends to smell a bit like her work when she is in her den. She will usually help any wolf who is in danger of a sickness, she cannot stand to see death, but some wolves need to die, its a way of life, and the horrible ones who just kill everything in sight certainly don't deserve a second chance, do they?
Aist tends to move a bit like the Swan of her name, but that isn't the case when it comes to her stubborn deminor. If she decides on something, there isn't a whole lot that can sway her. If she wants her den a certain place, and its taken, you can sure know she'll fight words, tooth, and claw to get what she wants. Aist won't take a 'no' for an answer, it isn't in her vocabulariy, and according to her, anything is possible. Aist will try to help until her last breath... if someone deserves it and she decides its right, that is.
Aist also seems to have a bit of a temper. She tends to bottle things up, anything small that happens, harsh words, why someone wanted to fight, and than it fizzes over and she explodes. Every month or so she just sort of snaps for a moment, a small thing that can make her upset or angry puts her on a rampage of a fit. She is a bit dangerous to others than, to say at the least. The rationality and calmness of her usuality is about disappeared, and she gets pretty hot-under-the-coller. Aist's temper can get the better of her, but it doesn't last as long as most expect, and when she's back, she's back. History: Young Aist was born in a little of eight. Her mother carried an abornormally large litter for two wolves so it wasn't a whole lot of surprise when Bell delivered five breathing pups and three stillborns. Bell and Aist's father, Ice, where mates for barely much of a time. Ice wasn't that nice of animal, he wanted a big boy pup to keep over his territory after he passed, he even had a name chosen. He wanted a little son named Knife, and nothing was going to stop him. So he force-bred Bell against her decision, she wanted pups late, and had barely known her new mate, Ice, for long. When she became pregnant she was horrified, but Ice was delighted, not for his mate, but for a new legacy of little versions of the angry Ice.
So when Bell gave birth to five pups, he was delighted, certainly one of these pups would be perfect? Bell's first born pup was more than he wanted, a tan-colored wolf, larger than most and a male, he was so perfect. So Ice wasn't that exctied when Bell continued to give birth to another two pups, both with flame-colored fur, a tiny boy and a tiny girl. They decided to name the large pup that Ice liked Knife, as he wanted, the two black ones, both females, they found out afterward, where Night and Raven, and the two 'discraces' as Ice called them, which would be Aist and her other little brother, weren't given a name.
One night Bell decided to leave, the way Ice treated her two smallests wasn't well, and Raven had gotten sick. So late one night, when Ice was out hunting, she grabbed her pups and ran. Naturally she didn't get that far by the time that Ice found them. He killed her on the spot, her disobedience, I do quote, was 'Unadmirable'. So he took back his pups, and killed Raven infront of young Knife, whom Bell had left behind. He looked at all the pups, and made a decision. He told Knife to kill either of the two tiny pups, or they both would die. He had until tommorrow. Knife took the high road though, when his father wasn't looking he managed to bring the two small pups to the edge of the territory, they had run pretty quick, and they all decided that the two small pups needed to leave. So that was the end of living in blood for young Aist.
sickness and love;; The two small pups where a girl and a boy. They decided to name themselves, they didn't want to be called 'Pups' anymore, and they both wanted their own names. They where barely ten weeks old, so their judgement wasn't the best. The young boy chose his name to be 'Fire', so he was completely and utterly opposite of his father. The little girl didn't make her decision that quickly. She finally chose it as a name she had heard her mother whisper in her sleep. She became Aist, and both Aist and Fire where ready to be on their own.
Two ten-week-olds weren't going to get that long without being killed, so when an old dog named Tin took them in, they where grateful. For one, they became an almost family. Tin was like a father they never had. Fire admired Tin, you could see at the beginning how he always followed him, but Aist was more interested in the leaves and the herbs that where all around her new 'dads' den. So Tin taught her, as he taught them both to fight and hunt, he also taught Aist everything she learned about healing. Aist grew up in the sheltered home of Tin, feeling loved with her other small brother near her, she felt truly at home.
Suddenly Fire became immensly ill. A disease, was what Tin called it. Young Aist was devestated. At four months, her brother was dying. She tried everything, Tin assured her that Fire had to go, and the spirits would be waiting for him, her mother would take her small pup home with open arms. This didn't make Aist not want to try. Aist spent as much time as possible, hardly sleeping, trying different mixtures of herbs to try and heal her brother. Fire was all she had, and she couldn't lose him.
A month later, when the two pups where five months of age, Fire gave in to the sickness, and passed away while Aist was hunting, the first time in such a while. When she returned Tin was mourning and her brother was dead. She never forgave herself, and blames herself for his death somehow, it just saddens her. Aist stayed with Tin for another five months, the whole time a bit of a downer, her sadness obvious, but she stayed because he was all she had.
aloneness and lost Aist left Tin when she was about a year old. She could only stand a little amount of the pain knowing that Tin was the only one there when her brother died. She found her way to a large packland alone, she wasn't that far before,. It helped erase any traces of her brothers pain, well, more like numbing it. She made her own den, and became the resident 'healer' in a way. Her knowledge with herbs unique and unlike most.
A few days after she moved to her new place, she was attacked. She was nearly killed, and lost a leg in the process. She managed to heal herself, just barely, and has been with her three legs for about a year now.
Aist became a slave to save her hide. Since she was nearly killed by a master who caught her walking on her territory. She is a god slave, does what is told, but you can see the energy burning in her eyes. Picture: Aist Master, Slave, or Free-Roaming? Slave [/blockquote]
