Suyaust. Thrown into turmoil as Zytico desperately looks for his now lost mate, a new and revolutionary idea is grown. Freed- slaves. Zytico had never really gone for the idea, and at one point really looked down upon the slaves, but since then , the male has been distraught over the lose of his mate and now flows with everything. Slaves in Suyaust are gone, their freedom gained. Thorn in particular is looking to settle down with someone. SHe doesn't know why but Zytico suddenly looking like a handsome brute. . . Zytico listens to Thorn's random blabbering with a hollow ear, instead his own heart seeking out a different female. Jarden and Issys are becoming more engaged with each other, continually "bumping" into each other at the most random times.

Suyaust. Thrown into turmoil as Zytico desperately looks for his now lost mate, a new and revolutionary idea is grown. Freed- slaves. Zytico had never really gone for the idea, and at one point really looked down upon the slaves, but since then , the male has been distraught over the lose of his mate and now flows with everything. Slaves in Suyaust are gone, their freedom gained. Thorn in particular is looking for a mate, her heart longing for someone of her own. Jarden is still ruthlessly falling for Issys, and love between Thorn and a secret Amaretaian begins. Male 1 is slinking out at night, his love falls to pieces when Sizzle catches him with Thorn one night. Sizzle sends him back, but yet she is hiding her own little secret.

Zytico. Ever since they met each other in the canyons on night, she has been, by "chance", meeting him there. They talk about their past mates, their packs, how nothing is going right. They've finally clicked. Caught between their two opposing packs who hate each other for various reasons, they don't know what to do. Suyaust is slowly starving, stealing prey from their neighbor's territory at night. Sizzle knows of Zytico's torture, having to go on each day and try to feed his pack as they slowly starve. A few have died or ran away. She knows his hurt and promises to find a way to help him.

Meanwhile, Thunder insists on persecuting the rampart pack that scavenges on their food, sending an attack party to Suyaust. The battle is bloody, and in a locked grip, Thunder and Zytico duke it out. Sizzle was told nothing of the surprise attack, due to Thunder thinking Sizzle too easy going on their "cynical neighbors". Male 1 and Thorn stay well away from each other, their love hurt by their pack's unforgiving standards. Zytico is badly mangled, his leg ripped to shreds and loosing a large amount of blood. Jarden looks on worriedly, and hate grows for the Amareta Pack fast. Jarden takes over for the few weeks that Zytico suffers from his healing, slowly helping his handicapped leader. Inside Zytico wonders why Sizzle stayed behind and didn't tell him. A trap? He refuses to eat for days, dragged on by his hurt.

Once again hunting is found on Amareta Forest, but not by Suyuast members. Thunder attacks in rage and desire, desperately trying to prove what a leader he can be. Unprovoked and on no notice, Suyaust is yet again throw into battle. Zytico is too weak to fight, and instead stays in his den, his mind badly distraught. A call outside is heard, stopping the battle. Sizzle has come for a treaty, her instincts raging against Thunder's will. She calls allegiance to Zytico, telling of their midnight talks and walks together. Infuriated, Thunder doesn't know what to do. His mother, a traitor to his father? Salem is a prisoner in Dunen, a slave in another world. Blinded by rage, Thunder banishes Sizzle.

Zytico welcomes Sizzle into his group, and she accepts, but she must talk to Salem first. Making her way through the desert, she tells Salem all of what has a happened and he nods, a pain like fire rippling through him. By maybe their relationship was never meant to be. Avenir never said their relationship would last--it would only bring peace for a short while. But maybe what Avenir saw was not Amareta at all--but a new Suyaust. Salem finally is given freedom from Dunen and decides to leave Amareta all together; he is still caught deciding on a new life at Dunen after finding a good friend. Sizzle returns to Suyaust, a final crowned Alpha. Thunder rules Amareta alone and he too has learned the true meaning of love-- Kaylaminkadot has had a liter of pups. Thorn accepts an offer to be male 1's mate and they soon produce a liter of pups in Suyaust. Jarden too has finally been wooed by Issys, and the two accept each other as mates, Issys becoming a Betaess. Winter has ended and Spring has begun a new chapter in life for all. Spring. A new beginning.

That sounds cool, Immy! I just have a few things... to start with, Thunder's not at all like that... period. He can't just turn evil.

As for Sizzle... she'll be kind of hesitant at first, saying she just wants to be friends until she can sort things out. She misses Salem, but the fact that he left her is still burning inside of her.

Okay. I like the plot, but one, Thorn likes Zytico, sadly enough, two, Thunder is too nice to start a fight, and three, Salem would never shrug that off, he'd be upset and go suicidal. So...yeah....but I wouldn't mind Salem going suicidal cuz he's supposed to die in not too long. A year or two...
