ZyticoI've come to tell you the truth. It was time. He was tired of sitting around, alone. He was tired of laying in his cavern at night, the warm scent of Rava still lingering. He was tired of remembering what had been. Ever since he'd met Sizzle a warm feeling had crept onto him. Sizzle had floated in and out of his dreams for weeks now. He had to do something about it.
Zytico stood at the base of a large hill, his mind boggling at what he was on a mission to do. Staggering all the way, Zy's breath was short and uneven, and he found himself breathing hard at the top, his sides heaving with effort. It pained him to see himself as a wolf lesser than what his prime had been. His optics gazed around the camp of the Amareta Forest Pack, and finally he spotted her. Sizzle. Standing in the middle of the camp her beautiful self stood, dazzling and--Salem. Turning cold, Zytico stood, mouth agape. Salem was back? I though he was. . .dead. The thought echoed over and over in Zy's had before he noticed that Salm and Sizzle had seen him. There was no going back now. Using all the energy left in him, Zytico called out meekly to his love.
"Sizzle...?"
Coat torn and in rags, Zytico stood with his tail low, a sign of utter disbelief. He probably looked overly unattractive compared to Salem right now. His eyes were bloodshot from nights unslept, and his coat was matted and full of dirt; he'd been to vegetation-like to hardly notice. The days had gone by so slowly, yet mixed all together in a rush if he tried to remember. He didn't even know what happened to his pack; if they were still there, he hadn't shown it.
All in all, the previous shinning glory of Suyaust was a complete and utter disaster. Laying his heart on the line. She hates me. I know it. . . And utterly surprised at what I've found. ooc- YES! Zytico now admits his utter love for Sizzle! OHTHEDRAMA. xDD I promise the next will be better.

ooc:awww! sizzle might have to decide between the wolf who tortured her years ago and never did anything to really help her and the one who helped to torture her and broke her heart. OHTHEDRAMA! Anyway... tio, you post first.

SalemThat's right. I'm back.A completely renewed wolf from his long time in Dunen, Salem was better than ever. A wiser wolf and a better mate. Licking Sizzle across the cheek, he beamed at her. This was the life that she had always deserved. A kindhearted loving mate. She was strong and elegant. A prize to any brujo. But she wasn't just his pride and joy. She was the love of his life. His eyes came off of the amazing Sizzle only to see the sight of Zytico. Mangled and obviously heartbroken. Eyes blood streaked. A poor sight. "Zytico. What happened to you? Why are you here?"
Salem asked the question generously. He was going to let Zytico stay here if he wanted too. It looked like he had completely lost his territory. But, he knew that couldn't happen...could it? Standing up and stretching his sore back slightly, he padded forward to Zytico. "Sizzle...?" He called. Salem froze. Looking at Sizzle questioning her, he glanced back at the torn Zytico. If it was Sizzle he wanted, and Sizzle wanted to be with him, Salem would let her go. That was how much he loved her. It was her decision who she would be happy with. He just wanted her to be happy. But, he was jumping to conclusions way too fast. So, he took his time looking between Sizzle and Zytico. "What's gonna happen?" he thought to himself, stepping back some to tell Sizzle through body language that whatever she wanted, he would be fine with. That she had to take care of this. Not him. He couldn't control what happened here.

Sizzle
Why must I choose? Sizzle, satisfied now that Salem was finally clean after a long swim in the creek, pulled herself out of the cool water and shook herself, clear droplets still clinging to her pelt. Then, a small voice met her auds.
"Sizzle...?"
Woah. Zytico? There was only one wolf that it could belong to, and it was the alpha of Suyuast. The vix with long, multi-colored fur followed a distance behind her mate, catching what he said to his old friend, but they didn't sound all that friendly.
"Zytico. What happened to you? Why are you here?"
By the tone in which he addressed his fellow alpha, it was obvious to know that Salem had not been expecting to see him at all, or at least for a while. There was also a hint of knowing within his voice, too, that told Sizzle that he knew something that she obviously did not. What's going on? It was now all making her nervous. Her mate and closest male friend suddenly showing up on the same day in pretty much the same condition, both wanting to see her. Something was up, and the fem must have been pretty blind at the time not to see what had been driving Zytico crazy for so many years: her.
Finally, she came to stand beside Salem, who still looked a little mangy, but not as bad as before. In all aspects of the word honesty, Sizzle was the only decent looking wolf of the bunch, and she was right now, drop dead gorgeous. A puzzled expression pulled itself up onto her face, a glow of genuine concern flashing through her eyes time and time again as she looked at her long-time alliance.
"Zytico! I've never seen you like this! Are you okay?"
She really sounded, in a way, desperate. Right now, Sizzle wanted to crawl under a rock and just die. How could this have happened to both Salem and Zytico? Why didn't she ever bother to go help either when both borders became suddenly quiet, as if their occupants were long gone, never to be seen again? Oh, it's all my fault!
As happy as she should have been to see that Zytico and Salem were both still alive, it only made the vixen miserable to see them in the condition that they were in. Only they knew what they had been through, and, in all honesty, Sizzle was not all that sure if she really wanted to know! She took a moment to look at Zytico, and then back to Salem. Salem had a nervous glint in his eyes, and he was telling her without words that it was her decision. My decision to what? Then, it happened; Sizzle understood. Oh... He liked her! Now, normally, any femme in her position would be so pleased with themselves for making two brutes fall head over heels in love with her that she could hardly bear it, but right now, Sizzle didn't want either of them to like her! It only made her heart ache! She knew instantly that she had a very hard decision in front of her; she was going to have to decide which one of the two amazing brujos that she loved enough to be her mate. But I love both of them in different ways! Although she had never known she had feelings for Zytico as well, now that she knew why he was here and that he liked her, they were as strong as ever. However, on the other defensive side, her feelings for Salem were also being amplified until they were both dead even. By now, Sizzle's pools of cinnamon brown were nothing but a strong reflection of hopeless pleading. The words that she now uttered were merely more than a whisper.
"Oh, please don't make me do this! Not now!" I love you both too much! |

Zytico
I feel betrayed. . .
Stepping back a few paces, Zytico swiftly recollected himself. Salem. Sizzle. It had finally come to the decision time.
"Zytico! I've never seen you like this! Are you okay?"
The ashen brujo looked up at the sound of her soft, comforting lyrics.
