Alice walked slowly behind her new master. She was a little happy, seeing as she was nice and did not yell at her. She did not want to give her hopes up, because she had had masters before that were nice at first and then turned and started yelling at her. She watched her new master walk ahead of her slowly, seeing as she was pregnant.
To think about something else Alice looked at the weather. It was a sunny day, and there were no clouds out. These were the kinds of days she liked, the ones that put her in really good moods.

Well...

Adalina stumbled along breathing heavily, from the exercise. She was growling at no one in particular. Pregnacy was not a pretty thing in this wolf. Ada sat heavily on her haunches and looked behind her towards Alice.
"Let's take a break," suddenly Ada felt a sharp pain around her midsection, she gasped and looked bewilderedly down at her stomach. Another sharp pain exploded somewhere inside her and the grey wolf had to grind her teeth from crying out in pain. The pain subsided some and Ada chose to ignore. It was just another unconvenience her pregnancy had forced on her.

Alice looked at her new master, with wide open eyes. She did not look good at all. She looked like she was in pain, and that was not good.
"Take as much time as you need." Alice said softly, with a hint of worry in her voice. She did not want anything to happen to this wolf, because she was the nicest master she had ever had.
Alice kept watch over the pregnant female and looked at her face. She looked like she was in a lot of pain. Alice was really worried now.
"Are you okay?" She asked hoping the female did not lie.

Ada was about to tell Alice that she was just peachy keen when her body exploded, fierce pain rippled over her mid-section, she gasped and looked at Alice.
"I think you had better call my mate," she gasped once more and collapsed on the ground, managing to gasp out one word, "hurry." She knew what the pain was know, her puppies were coming. Ada felt a fiery joy creep over her! They were finally coming! She stared dreamily into space hoping that at least one would be just like his father. She yipped when the pain hit her again, and with a herculean effort managed to drag herself off the trail. Protected now underneath the shade of a nearby tree, Adalina panted her body working hard to have her pups. She was strong and she knew her little ones would be healthy. She looked at Alice still by the side of the road and she smiled through her pain, all traces of her earlier grumpy attitude erased. She spoke with utter calm and serenity,
"Tell him it's time!

_{Alice gasped as as her new master collapsed on the ground. She had to do something. She looked at the pregnant female once last time before she turned quickly on her feet and ran as fast as she could to find her mate.
The female ran and ran but realized she did not know what her mate looked like. She would be glad if she found anyone. Alice threw her head up and let a blood curling howl out of her maw. She would find the master's mate. She wished she had been here longer but it was a good way to prove her loyalty to her new master.
"Is anyone here?" Alice said loudly hoping anyone close would here her.}

Thunder had been impatient lately. Something was driving him mad. Like there was something going on that he didn't know about. His nerves were cranking. Pacing back and forth, he quickly decided to go for a walk. Muttering things and worrying, he passed by the plane quickly and galloped down through a beautiful meadow. Then a blood curdling howl pierced his ears. That made his paws thump louder and faster. Flashing through the trees. His long legs were built for speed.

Nearly tumbling over a small female, he skidded to a stop in front of her. "Howl for me. Now." He said to the femme that either obviously REALLY had to go to the bathroom or she needed help. Running his tongue over his lips, he sat there waiting for her to howl. He wanted to know who it was that howled. Thoughts of where his mate, Ada was ran through his mind. He hadn't seen her for a while. She had said she was making a run to the Auction Rock. He didn't want her to go, but there was no stopping that crazy femme when she had her mind set to what she was doing. Heavily pregnant and all, she had went on down to Auction Rock. The dumb .ss that he loved so much.

But, there he sat. Waiting for the lowly slave to speak...well, he wanted her to howl, but speaking would be good enough for him. He just wanted to see if the tones matched and what the h.ll she wanted.

^{Ada howled loud and clear with pain. She didn't know where the heck the stupid slave was but she knew these puppies were not going to wait for Thunder. So she stopped trying to slow the process and went to work. Slowly, painfully, and finally one by one the pups were born. Adalina dragged herself closer to them and licked them clean. Tears were in her eyes, they were so beautiful! She couldn't believe they were hers. Tenderly she snuggled them close to her stomach and they eagerly searched for food. Soon they were all eating to their hearts content. Laying her head down on the scraggly grass she fell asleep. Her pups were born she knew her mate would soon be coming, her world was all good, and she was happy.}

There the slave stood like it was paralyzed. "Stupid slave." He thought to himself. Then a cry and a howl rang loudly. He jumped up and raced twords the howl. He already knew what was going on and who had just howled. Ada. She was due any time now and he was smart enough to put two and two together. Slipping through the trees twords Ada, he heard more cries and then silence. That pushed him harder. Hard enough to almost smash right into Ada and the pups. Skidding and then laying down, he nuzzled her. "Did I miss anything?" He asked smiling warmly. "You got yourself a dumb slave there. Stood stalk frozen." Sarcastic and fooling around were a few of his favorite things to do and this was his chance for a bit of sarcasm. "Thought about any beautiful names for some beautiful puppies yet?" What he asked was quite simple. He hadn't put much thought into names. Hopefully Ada had thought of some nice ones.
