[.ooc|| alright guys, I didn't know if i was allowed to do this or not, but just tell me and I'll close this topic. I started a topic for Kadenza Oct 13 and Pyrr replied on Oct 16. I replied back to her on Oct 19, and after that, no reply from Pyrr came. So I'm making a new topic for Kadenza.
KADENZA
I WANT TO BE MORE THAN A STORY TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS.
I WANT TO BE MORE THAN A STORY TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS.
The red hued female weaved in and out of the horses, being careful to stay out of the views of any of the masters and dodging the other slaves carefully, not wanting to run into them and cause them anymore harm then they were already going to get from the masters. It sickened her how they were treated as simple items, but there wasn't really anything she could do about it other than play her role in life and die when her time came. I guess you could say she really had no reason in life at this moment, no will to go on, but could you honestly blame her? Here she was forced into pens until someone found her worthy enough, and then when she was claimed she would be forced to obey anything that master told her. She felt degraded.
This wasn't her first time here, well actually it was since she had never left the place. But this wasn't her first time waiting for a master. One, a tall dark stallion, had already came up to her, but then he disappeared. So now she had taken this chance to regain her self in the shadows and have what little freedom she had left for a little while longer. He had been a horrid liar, stating that he would never harm a mare. And his eyes were full of evil and sin, needless to say, he hadn't been one you would want to follow home. She blessed the stars that she had been able to get away from him.
Ffinally the far back corner of the pen she was stationed in was opened up and she squeezed herself into it. She turned her rump to face the rest of the word and rest a hind hoof so it would be easy to kick any un welcomed creature that ascended upon her. She kept her ears flicked behind her to listen for any footsteps, even though that was a hopeless attempt, there were hundreds of horses behind her. But still, it gave her some peace of mind. To know she was doing a little more than nesacery to be warned of any arrival.
She rested her head on top of the gate and watched the world outside this nasty pen go bye. It was beautiful. Being winter, her favorite time of the year, there was snow that powdered the earth outside. While inside the pen it was simply mud and crushed up snow, it was disgusting. But out there it was even and white, a true winter wonderland. She wanted to be out there, but she knew never to wish on such things, the freedom of being out there would never be hers. Her eyes closed as she fell into a restless doze...
