The dazzling, vibrant coated mare strode easily into Auction rock with her head held high and proud. Her steps were sure and elegant, each dainty pink hoof landing an exact one and a half feet away from the other. Sniffing the wooden pens carefully, she turned herself into the first one that was empty. Oddly enough, this mare somehow knew her old master had abandoned her, so she returned herself back to the Auction Rock to hopefully be claimed again. Gardenia Rosewater carried her lithe, beautiful self to the center of the pen where she would wait patiently.
Moments later, the strawberry roan darling felt a bit of sun peek through the clouds and hit her. The rays were comfortably warm. Spinning to face the burning orb in the heavens, which so daringly parted the overcast sky, she couldn't help but sigh as her entire body was bathed in radiant light. The golden rays mingled with her scrumptiously red coat, creating patches and streams of red/gold glory, that sparkled intensely in the angelic light, up and down a toned, slender frame. The mare's smooth, flowing alabaster mane draped over one side of Garden's lengthy, graceful neck; then rippled softly and ethereally as the gentle breeze snaked its way beneath the curtain. An ivory tail lashed at the earth, billowing silently in resemblance to a spirit maiden's gown. However, it was sad to realize the truth that one so amazingly gifted with such charms as her flawless coat could not ever even gaze at wonders that shone brighter. Like the sun, or the moon, or a seascape under the diamond stars. That is correct, Gardenia was a blind horse. Her multicolored optics; chocolate brown on the right, shimmering, ice blue on the left; were glazed over, their dazzling, sparkling brilliance laid waste by the fact they were pupil-less and unemotional through most times. Although still breath-taking to behold, one cannot help but feel sorry for the young lass.
Gardenia took a step back. Her movements were fluid as though she knew her surroundings, it was hard to tell she was blind. The blaze that covered her dished, petite face, to the eyes, shone brightly under the sky, it was blinding to look upon. But I guess when you are born without sight it is essential you acquire other gifts to help your survival, correct? Well, Garden was born with beauty to slaves, must live as a slave. So why not at least be a striking slave? This way she has more hope to live than others, even though she might not understand the concept or even care. She still had hope, and to her, that's all that mattered, is that you always keep hope within your heart.
The stunning fae nickered softly as happiness swept over her. Garden was hardly ever too happy anymore, which was why when she did get those moments, she tried to let it out instead of holding anything back. A silken tail flicked off to the side before falling back into place. Willowy pistons brought Garden around in a circle before rearing up and striking out at the sky. Landing near without sound, the delicately curved ears of Gardenia Rosewater twitched off to the side, her keen sense of hearing detecting movement near her peaceful pen. Was it a master? If so, would he claim her? And if it was a master hoping to claim her, she could only pray it was a kind, gentle master.

His old handsome self walked into the Auction Rock, head high. He had started a role as Sargent, recruting and traing horses and wolves, that wanted to restore Sobibor. His eye just happened to catch sight of a starwberry roan mare, beautiful as can be. Well, my dear. What has ever happened to you? His soft, gentle rumble came out from behind her, and his hoof scraped the ground for an answer. My name is Gold Mine, but I go by Rich. I'm recruiting mares, stallions, females, males for Cemetire's army. Would you happen to be interested? His soft rumble clearly told the mare what he was doing. When she didn't answer to that, he said something else. I'm sort of like a Sargent. Well, am one, actually. I train and recrute. Plus, I could do with a mare like you at my side. His brown eyes glowed, and he flicked his tail, and pricked his ears. He now waited for the mare's reply.

Pivoting her lovely frame towards the handsome voice that spoke calmly her direction, Gardenia smiled warmly. She took a couple steps forward, towards the stallion who addressed her. Bowing low to the gent, so low her lengthy snow-white forelock grazed the dead grass at her feet, she spoke. Melodic lyrics pierced the air as the smooth flow of water or the lulling sound of a gentle song streaming quietly into a room with a slight lilt.
"Thine offer is kindly indeed, my lord. By thine voice I can tell you are a handsome stallion worthy of trust. And thine words ring true, thou must be quite the fighter. I would be honored to accompany thine's side. However, I am no fighter. Peace is what I strive for and I can see nothing flourishing any other way."
Retaining her regal stance, it did not cross Miss Rosewater's mind that her stance mirrored that of a master's, and it might be best if she were to humble herself. However, it was hard when she had been raised to stand as such, with endurance and dignity.
"If thou wouldst still have me, my lord, would it anger thee if I were to make a humble request of thou?"
Gardenia dipped her head again, attempting to show utmost modesty and politeness with every movement. Her dazzling pools seemingly stared at Rich, but their clouded look was strange indeed. His words did sound kind, and she would accept any offer thrown her way just to escape the barriers and confines of the Auction Rock. Gardenia chanced another step forward, seeking his scent.
She missed the sound of another's voice. And if this one were to comply with her request, she could hear the most beautiful voice of all again. Suddenly Gardenia's gut filled with want, the desire to meet something she had lost, and this kindly stallion seemed the type that would help her. Though concealing her inner thoughts well, suddenly Garden's eyes beamed at Rich.
"Will ye help me?" she asked, innocence swirled within multicolored orbs. Her voice shivered with her want.
The glorious rays of the sun caught Garden's expression, honey colored were the contours of her finely sculpted crania. Her bald face gave the impression of a red horse who'd dunked her head in cream. Though, she longed to see Gold Mine's face, so as to ask her request properly. She did not even know if she was looking at him or not. His looks must be wonderful indeed, however, the strawberry roan arabian's mind was firmly set on discovering her lost treasure. And freedom of course. She was no sly deceiver though, and she would be eternally in the debt of this Rich if he could so much as free her and help her.

Rich smiled gently at the mare, bobbing his head. Very trustworthy indeed, my dear. I will help you, but, first, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name? This mare was quite formal, but her eyes...kept wandering off. Rich knew at once that this strawberry roan was blind. But, very, very beautiful. And, she had asken for help from him. He smiled again, though...by the look of her stance.... She looked proud, and...like a master. I would be honored to have you by my side, by the way, love. Rich didn't bother smiling this time, because he knew she could not see it. [sorry it took so long. I was really sick.]

Her simple smile suddenly widened with joy. In this joy she bowed her head curtly with a silken ivory tail raised high. "Of course, my lord. My name is Gardenia Rosewater, daughter of Silveresque and Aeyoshou Rosewater," the radiant mare's speech broke off abruptly, her mind had escaped with her words. She meant to use the names of her slave parents, but instead she dared utter her true parents names? To another? Shaking her head dismissively, she would think nothing more of it, he would not recognize their names anyway. "And- and sister to Lotus Leaves."
Struck with the meaning of her brother's name, she waited until a soft, crisp breeze swept through, toying with the strands of her creamy mane and forcing her vibrant body to shiver from the cold. Realizing her silence, she decided to make her request as quick and summarized as possible. "My humble request of thee, kind Rich, is simply this; I know my brother wanders these lands in search of me. He is white as snow and just as sightless as I, I would request he be found and brought to me, for I ever so wish to see him."
A hint of sadness echoed from between the soft tones and sweetness in her angelic voice. She held secrets indeed, and the second half to her secret lay with her brother. She needed to hear the secret and make it a whole; in turn, Lotus also needed to learn of her secret. Brought together, the winter and the autumn, spring and summer must be born.
"I shall ever be in thy debt, more so than now, if this thing can come to pass." bowing again for at least the fourth time, this time there was great significance in her actions, and the fluid movement as her right leg fell to one knee and her neck arched to bring low and below the master her petite, dished head was amazingly quick yet prolonged. The bow of a princess to a king. Straightening back up, Gardenia waited patiently for Rich's reaction, or approval of leave. Her icy blue eye and coffee brown eye, swirling with the inner secrecy and kindness of her heart, watched Rich intently, though they could see naught.
Ooc: If you want we can just pretend someone fetched Lotus Leaves and he was directed towards wherever Gardenia is going? Of course, if you would like a thread with Lotus started, we can do that too. Up to you though! n.n
