BrokenspiritYou can't see my boundaries. All I can see is a black abyss. Nothingness. I have gone through my years tortured and in pain. And now back again I am here. I know where I am, but I don't. It smells like the place I know as hell. Again. Again. I sit here over and over. Waiting. A forever statue I am. Waiting for the right one. The one that wants the messed up slave. The one that doesn't care whats on the outside. The one that doesn't care. That one.
Bowing my crystal covered crown, I shook gently to rid myself of the frozen water and to make my bodice less cold. I was already in a blanket of the cold stuff. It clung to my fur like leeches looking for a meal. Pulling up a paw, a ran my long salmon tongue over it. I knew what was around me by my enhanced smelling, hearing, tasting, and feeling. The cold nipped gently at my skin and then blew in full force, ripping through my flesh. Shivering, I looked onward. Twords fate.
White flesh pinned on bones, my bodice was torn and ragged. I knew that. I could feel how hungry I was and how everything ached. My life would come to an end soon if I stayed here any longer. I looked like a rat in a cage and who would want a blind, three legged rat? Nobody. I always knew I would die. I just never thought it would be in this hell of a place in the cold of winter, from starvation. A single tear slipped down my frost bitten cheek and almost immediately froze. Sightless eyes staring out into the unknown, I knew I knew I was ready to die. Right here and right now. I had no chance. None at all. Today. I would die. [/blockquote] ooc;; Crap. Sorry. I just wanna get Brokenspirit back into this. xD

Morphine. && frozen sky rid me of this warmth. OOC -- Gah. Morphy muse dead. Sorry. Word Count -- 482
Barrel chested brute walked across the grounds in heavy steps. His large paws created small earthquakes, and left the footprints of a monster. Thick breath condensed in the frozen air. Red and yellow eyes glared at everything. Every master. Every slave. Every snowflake, and every speck of dirt. Nothing escaped his venomous glare. Ice gathered in his matter fur between filthy toes. The beast could feel the chill under his fur and against his paws, but he could also feel the raging fire of hatred that always burned inside him. Whipping his head around suddenly, he snapped like a raging, feral demon at a master who'd dared to walk too close. The crowd parted for him after that. He was like a shark swimming among the tiny guppies of the auction rock. The male smirked at such a thought. He truly was a king among filth. Masters included. They were nothing compared to him but tiny, helpless pawns which he would abuse to his liking and then throw out with his boredom. He needed some more entertainment as of late, hence his trip to the auction rock. Despite the fact that he disliked the place he was certainly too lazy to go find some master to challenge a slave for. What was a slave worth? Nothing. So why challenge for one? He had no clue. The brute much rather preferred to walk to the market and pick out his favorite "fruit" than fight for it.
The beast coughed slightly under his breath. The cold air hurt his lungs, but still the burning would not go away. Was there something wrong with him. The answer was yes, but more in a psychological sense than physically. A slick patch of ice suddenly appeared under his foot, and the male slipped and skidded a little until he bumped into a small, bony object. Snarling, he whipped his body around to face the thing. "Dun touch meh." What was the thing anyway? Red and yellow eyes narrowed at the tiny, deformed body. It had to be a slave, for no master would look like that, but it still looked a little to weak to be something anyone would want. It was sort of like the worn out, three month old apples sometimes found in the market that no one wanted. Yet, here it was. Still waiting. How many times had he waited? I dunna even wanna know.

Baldric slipped quickly into auction rock and immediately saw a slave he knew he needed. The poor thing was near death. His heart broke, his eyes grew soft as he saw the poor broken thing. Nodding his regal head at the large wolf beside her he spoke,
M'am I am Baldric, but you may call me 'Ric. What is your calling?
He looked over the other wolf. He didn't think he was claiming this slave. He didn't look like the sort who would want a slave he would have to nurse back to health. Shivering in the cold weather Baldric wondered how long she would last. Hopefully the large wolf wouldn't want her. Baldric didn't know how long it would take to defeat the black wolf but he knew any amount of time lingering here could be fatal for the slave. For;; Anger, Locura. Word Count;; 167. Muse Level;; Dying, dying.... Comments;; Hey Locura, does Morphy mind Baldric butting in?

Dipping her milky head in a bow, Brokenspirit stood full height on three legs. "I'm sorry, Master." Her voice was raspy and dry. Bowing, her one back leg supporting her, nothingness blue orbs stared out into the air. In the direction of the brute's voice. Then another voice entered the picture she had played in her head. The vibrations had been picked up by her feet and played a crystal clear picture. Turning her mangled head, she stared the pools of blue at the other wolf. "M'lord, I am Brokenspirit. Please call Spirit. I despise the name Brokenspirit." Blinking her sightless eyes, she tried to picture completely what was around her. But, never seeing a color or anything before, it was near to impossible. In fact, it was impossible. She could only see in her scarce dreams. Turning her head, she looked straight ahead - at nothing. Just staring into her dark abyss that she saw all the time. [/blockquote]

Baldric listened carefully to the slave her words sounded strong, despite her dreadful condition. He drew closer to her his warm breath causing a puff of steam to rise from his mouth. He spoke once more caressing each word as if it were his child,
Madam Spirit, I would ask you to come with me to my land, Shechem, it is a land of refuge where you will not be a slave but a cherished member. Do you accept?
He spoke of his land with pride. It was a beautiful land indeed with prey abundant and so many different nooks and crannies to explore. He knew it would be a place of peace and love. He would make sure of that. If all Baldric needed was determination, love, or compassion, his pack would already be perfect. But he needed more than those things, he needed members, and he needed most of all a mate, and a heir. ((ooc. sorry for the wait and the awful post. could we finish this fast, lol, I need some posts in my land so it can get more active. ))

Bowing her head respectfully, her blue orbs gently rolled down and then back up with her crown. "Madam Spirit, I would ask you to come with me to my land, Shechem, it is a land of refuge where you will not be a slave but a cherished member. Do you accept?" The moment he said that, she ducked her head again. This was always a test she went though. If she said yes, usually she was punished. Never was it an actual real not test question. She was confused. Very confused even. But, she knew what she had to do. No matter what, Spirit would say yes. She always and forever more chose yes. It was knowing that she would die that made her say yes. If she was beaten, she would die in a second. She had the strength mentally but starvation, many beatings, ect had took a great toll on her.
Looking up again directly at him, she nodded. "Yes...I do accept." Baldric's words had seemed truthful enough to her, so she had said yes. She should have said it more carefully, but she was quite overjoyed still at the sight of someone taking interest in a mangled rat. Standing up to her full height was easy for her. She had done well with recovering after her moose incident. She was able to do everything perfectly still. Even as a 3 legged blind wolf. [/blockquote] ooc;; It's fine. Sounds good....my posts are total crap. Sorry about that.

Baldric At the sweet sound of the lady's answer Baldric barked like an overjoyed pup and stood quickly to his feet. He spoke his voice containing volumes of happiness in each word,
Lady Spirit I am so glad you chose to accept. You see the truth is I have no one on my land, except a horse and it can get very lonely. It seems I cannot hold onto a slave once I tell them they are a member.
This last bit of a speech drifted off into sadness, it was true all he said and it ashamed Baldric. Was he not good enough to rule a pack, was he to weak a ruler just like his father had said? Shaking the thoughts from his head he turned back to Spirit and spoke once more,
Well, come, let us leave for Shechem. You don't seem to be holding up all that well in this cold. Do not worry though I know just the place you can call your den.
He nudged her with his nose gently and waited for her to stand, so he could lead her to her new life, as not a slave but a member. ((ooc. okay then I guess you can wrap it up here. Could you post in Shechem when your done here? I have to go ice skating. )) P.S Your post was better than mine. Teehee, gave me a bit more muse.

How Baldric kept referring to her as 'Lady' and 'Madam' was getting on Spirit's nerves. She had always called her master those things and this made her jumpy. Opening her maw, she started to test her luck. "You keep calling me "Lady" and "Madam" and I'll have to call you Master Baldric and M'lord Baldric." Laughing dryly, she showed she meant nothing by it. She just didn't like being called Lady and M'lady. "Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." Spirit felt bad for the poor feller. She wasn't going anywhere anyways. She didn't know anywhere around her. Of course, she could pick up vibrations, sounds, smells, anything you could throw at her. But, she wasn't perfect. She couldn't see outside of moving things. She had limitations.
Baldric had just touched her gently with his nose to tell her to stand up and she was about to say something, but swallowed it. She was always judged like this. She could do things on her own. Sighing, she stood up easily and started off in the direction that her new Alpha had come from. Each paw setting down easily. She knew exactly where she was going now. She had picked up a good trail.
