Maya How did I get here It was snowing today over Auction Rock as the countless cages containing their slaves creaked with the coming blizzard. Many were used to this kind of treatment since they had been slaves all their lives but in one cage which at first glance, seemed to be empty, one slave cowered in the corner. Her deep brown eyes flicked so quickly that it seemed impossible she could be watching anything properly but she drank in her surroundings in horror. How did I get here? she thought to herself as she caught the eye of another wolf. His stare was cold and hard and within half a second, her eyes were planted firmly on the floor of her cage.
The state of these cages were horrible with dirt and what looked like blood covered the floor. The wolf took a quick glance at the other slave who was still staring and shot her eyes back down, inspecting how the blinding white of her paws contrasted with that of the floor. She could see the layers of dirt and soon she became engrossed in her own make-believe game and found herself drifting into her dreamworld.
She remembered how it had been when she was a pup and she could play with her brother all day without any problems at all. How everything seemed carefree and nothing like your strength or your looks mattered or influenced others. Maya looked down at her sleek coat and thin bodice. To her, she was ugly and no one wanted to talk to her but in reality she had close to the perfect body shape which had attracted a lot of males in the past. It was only her shy personality that had kept them away and as she turned away from the male in the other cage, she inadvertently added one more male to the list of wolves who she turned away just because she didn't have the courage to say what she wanted to say.

ThunderToday is the day.Stretching his large frame out onto familiar territory, Thunder heaved a long yawn and slapped his paws onto the ground. He knew where he was headed. Memorized the path even. Dipping his head up into the touching sunlight. It was the break of dawn. The time time he always came out to the Auction Rock to look around. But, by the time he reached the blood stained grounds, it was nearing noon. A storm was coming. He could feel it and so could everything around him.
An ice cold breeze swept through his gray pelt, sending shivers down his spine. Breaking into a run, he raced to get to Auction Rock. He wanted to go there and get back home before the storm started. Slashing into the open field, he stopped outside the pens. Trotting briskly along the pens, he spotted nothing. Nothing at all that as of interest to him. He was just about to start home when he came to the very last pen. Inside was a pretty fem with a slim frame. He stopped quickly wondering what was wrong with her. That was the only reason Masters never brought home a pretty slave. Something had to be wrong with them. And being the wolf he was, he always took those slaves that had problems.
Coming to the cage door and licking his forever stained maw, he flopped his steppers onto the fence and used his nose to gently open the gate. Swinging it open, he stepped inside, closed the door so there was only a crack and approached the fem in the tight cage. "'scuse me, Miss. What's yous name, and preferably age? And if it ain't too hard to talk about, your past?" Thunder didn't usually talk like this, but today he was feelin sorta different, so he used an accent. Smacking his chops, he looked at the fem waiting for an answer. [/blockquote]

Maya How did I get here Maya barely noticed anything outside of her own thoughts for a long time and soon even the wind that had seemed to howl past her before was just a whisper in her ears. So it came as a surprise when her gate was opened. Maya jumped as she was snapped out of her peace and felt her blood run cold as another wolf climbed into her cage. He was male which only made her all the more nervous and Almost instinctively, she backed up against the freezing bars of her cage and she lowered her head. The cage was a petite one however and it made close to no difference.
"'scuse me, Miss. What's yous name, and preferably age? And if it ain't too hard to talk about, your past?"
For a second, Maya paused warily, stunned anyone would actually want to buy her. All the same being bought was better then staying in this dump and she forced a smile onto her face. It came out as a clumsy grin however and Maya frowned self-consciously, feeling the blood rise to her face in embarrassment. Quickly, she muttered " My name is Maya and I'm just over 3 years I think." She paused, unsure what to say about her history. The other two questions were straight-forward but she didn't know what to say here. "Um...I wasn't always a slave...I lived up north and then my brother ran away and I followed. I think I went into another wolf's territory because he captured me and took me here..." Maya trailed off, figuring that no more needed to be said and quickly realized this could be her escape ticket again. "...And I've been here for 2 weeks." Maya lifted her head a little and shifted in the cold. She was supposed to be familiar with this type of weather but these circumstances made her feel so different to before.

Listening to the fem's very short past and sentence was the easy part. What to say back was the hard part for him. Nodding his head simply was all he could offer to say that he had heard her soft words. Maya the fem had said her name was. Maya it would be. He already had a Maya the horse back at home in Amareta, but he had seen little to nothing of the b.tch since Salem had brought it back. "Well then, Maya. Do you have any "special" talents per say?" Thunder wasn't on a scouting mission. Not anything like that. He just was looking for some slaves and stuff. He needed some more mentors and if this fem had anything to offer, he would put her in charge of a youngster. If she was worthy in his eyes anyways.
Turning around, he slid open the door against the cold snow. Moving his head to say "come on", he moved forward. He would talk to her on the way back home. Right now he wanted to get a goin before the storm came. "Okay. So what about those "special" talents, Maya of 3 years old?" It was odd how Thunder put in 'of 3 years old', but he didn't think she would really notice. He was just being weird today and he showed it by his change in talking. [/blockquote]

Maya How did I get here Maya felt herself freeze as he asked about any special talents. Ah. Maya tried in vain, to hide her dismay and began to rack her brain. What had she been good at while she was young? This brute was probably looking for someone who could teach young pups how to fight and hunt but she was unfit and they would almost certainly be outrunning her by the time they were a year old. Besides, she had been told countless times that her techniques were awful. Maybe he was looking for a messenger but Maya's fitness posed as a problem yet again as she would become tired much quicker the the rest of the slaves.
Maya watched in unease and relief as her new master opened the cage to let them go and she began to think more quickly of all the jobs a slave would do but she stood out in none of them. What if he didn't want her because she couldn't do anything for him? What if he returned her back to Auction Rock because she was so bad at being a slave? Maya looked around at the dingy cages and shivered. She never wanted to come back here. Ever.
"Okay. So what about those "special" talents, Maya of 3 years old?"
She had to answer now, otherwise it would be obvious she had none. Just say something!! her brain screamed at her and with that thought, she blurted out, "I can take care of young pups, teach them basic things and watch over them." As soon as she said it, Maya felt her face become burning hot. What was she on about? Pups stayed with their mums when they were that young and surely, her master wouldn't need this? Maya turned her head around to look back at the cages, trying to hide the agitation that was etched into her face.

Thunder nodded his head in acknowledgment quite slowly. Obviously pondering what the fem had spoken of. He needed the teaching part more than the taking care of. All of the mothers in his pack cared about their pups deeply and didn't even like letting them out of her sight. Maya didn't ave exactly what he wanted...but she would mother good pups. Maybe if his dad still had some spunk left. Thunder didn't have the heart to do that other than with his mate, Ada.
"You would like to mother pups then, Maya?" The question was simple...he always asked first. Then if it was a no, the forcing usually began. Picking up pace slightly, he turned his head to see if his new pet was picking up her pace too. The storm was brewing closer and faster. He could feel it in the marrow of his bones. The chilling wind was picking up. Darting into a run, he waited for Maya to pick up her pace. ooc;; Crap.

Ooc:// No it's not XD. I consider crap to be the misspelt, under 50 words ones Maya How did I get here Maya felt her head snap back to the front as she heard what her master said. Mother pups? Maya bit her lip as she thought it over. It wouldn't be too bad... once she'd had the pups then she'd have plenty to do and she wouldn't be useless. Then again, she was still a virgin and was she really ready to have pups? Maya cursed herself for being indecisive and countered out her 'against pups' argument with the thought that she'd had to lose her virginity some time and the chances were she would be here for a while. Although Maya hated socializing with other brutes, she also resented the thought of going past her prime without losing her virginity and what else could she do for her new master?
Yeah, sure. That works. Maya felt a sudden sense of relief wash over her and realized what she'd put herself up to. Almost immediately after she said it though, her master began to speed up. Taken by surprise, Maya increased her pace too, hoping that they would not go any faster. She would fall behind if her master increased his pace to a full sprint but Maya tried to remain optimistic. Maybe his land wasn't that far away...
Suddenly, her new master tore into a run and Maya only just suppressed a groan. Maya winced and began to run too, her breath already slightly harder. She hoped with all her heart that his land was not far away for at this pace, she would soon fall behind and then he would see how unfit she really was.
