A proud brujo slowly limped through the the grounds. The depression that he had at the moment, was causing him to act this way. Instead of his irritable, disobedient side. Then, when the master behind him nipped him once again, he got really p.ssed. Snapping around fast, he locked onto the brujo's muzzle. Applying much pressure, he tried to run forward, but was caught by another master in his attempt to slam the one in his jaws against a tree.
Jaws locked onto his scruff as they tried to rip him from the Master that he had in his grip. Letting go only to slip his grip to the neck. Fire burned in his eyes as well as hatred and misunderstanding. He had a death grip on this Master and he would kill him. Tightning his grip, more and more, he tried to streach the pain on for this brujo for as long as he could.
When the Masters behind him started to latch onto his bad leg, he got even more mad. Snapping his mighty jaws down on the Master's neck, the heavy, struggling body became still. The two behind him let go and stared in awe at their dead friend.
"Goodbye, and good riddence!"
He snarled before flinging the limp, dead body of the brujo flying into a large oak tree. Turning around, he got that mean look in his eye and stared at the two remaining Masters.
"Does anyone else wanna mess with me?"
The words were spit out at them like poison. He was trying to scare them away. He didn't want to fight right now. He just wasn't in the mood. As the other two scampered away with their tails between their legs like little pups, he gave a chuckle and sat down next to the dead body. He wasn't going to run. Naw. He would sit here. He had no fear.

"I might try." a thunderous voice echoed out resonantly, deeper than any wolf's could ever be. From the shadows created by nearby thick foliage a sinister looking equine stepped out. His crimson eyes were covered by the thick curtain of wavy forelock. The sable stallion's thick, toned muscles rippled fiercely beneath his severely scarred black pelt. This place was new to him, but in order to keep the more 'escape' prone horses in his herd in order, a wolf might come in handy. Especially one with guts and a backbone. Taking sweeping strides forward, closing the gap between the two, Darkness' judgmental gaze scrutinized the beaten up looking creature. A back paw was missing, how strange indeed. However, it would mean little. A wolf like this didn't look like he would be hindered by something as trivial as a missing paw. Smirking slightly, the massive shire/friesian towering over this wolf, circled once before halting. He stood squarely on his dense boned pistons, facing the brute head on.
"You seem like a worthy creature. Worthy enough for a task I might have for you. If you accept and not be a *ss about it." Darkness flicked an irritated tail, already was he prepared for the smart-alicky nature this male wolf appeared to possess. Sneering slightly, he continued to speak. "I have strict ranks within my herd, obey me and one of the higher ranks just may be for you. As it is, I already have a task in mind for one of your strength. Besides, you do not always want to be known as a slave do you? Follow me and I can promise your freedom. Freedom enough anyway."
The fearsome stag waited patiently for a reply. Inside he was prepared for whatever the wolf threw his way. Being so much smaller than himself, succeeding in one hit on the smaller wolf could result in permanent damage. Possibly fatal.

A grin appeared on the buck's expression as quick as you could say his name. A Griffin he was. Protector of all. That was exactly what he expected to be. Today, he was in a good mood after killing that Master. Killing always put him in a good mood, as odd as it may seem. He had never been one for loving or any of that sappy junk. But, this was just him. Snippity and irritating at times.
When the black build of a horse came into site, it didn't even phase his stupid little grin. Just made it go as strong as ever. Quickly another expression swept over it, making his cream lips curl back into a small frown. Being the middle-aged wolf that he was made it only a whole lot more interesting for a horse to be looking at him. And even giving him an offer. But, something told him he shouldn't work for a horse. It just wasn't right. But, something else told him that if he didn't, he'd be smashed into pieces. "Great. Smashing or world of misery." He thought in the deepest corner of his mind just in case this was one of those nutty mind reader dudes.
"Well, Monsieur Horsey, do you have a name so I don't have to call you Horsey, or do you want me to call you 'Master' cuz let me tell ya now. I ain't sayin that word to anyone." Griffin stood up and pawed at the ground impatiently. He spoke with obvious rudeness, but most likely not enough to really tick off this stallion. "I'll join you, Monsieur Horse. But, on the condition that I don't have to call you the retarded name "Master" or "M'lord". I ain't no pretty little toy."
Brown-Orange optics glowed with satisfaction and back came a smidge of a grin. Just that small little crumb piece was a lot when he wasn't in a good mood. He hadn't said his name and he knew that this stallion would probably ask it. Hopefully say his own name so he wouldn't have to be called Horse or Horsey. But, maybe this horse didn't have a sense of humor and would snap. If he did, he'd just shrug it off unless Monsieur Big Foot decided to sit on him. [/size][/blockquote]

As Darkness listened to the wolf's words, he found them quite distasteful, yes, quite distasteful indeed. The rude little furball probably expected it, but Darkness would do it anyway, he wasn't gonna put up with the slack this beast was showing, Not one bit. Swifter than a speeding bullet the black stallion, his form cut out from the world around him, snapped a strong hoof forward and upside the chin. Tossing his forelock out of the way, his crimson eyes burned down at the wolf, clearly showing that he was not going to take anymore.
"That was a meager warning, whelp. I'm not going to put up with your trivial banter. I am offering a rank in which you may be bound within my lands, but you will still gain a freedom you would not have otherwise."
Flicking his tail whilst slightly cavorting out of the growing rage inside, the only way he could find to stop himself was to lift the body of the nearby dead master and begin to tear into it. Ripping a chunk off and devouring the meat slightly out of view, he spoke again without looking at the wolven worm.
"Unless you wish to persist in angering me, then I shall have no choice but to enslave you for the rest of your fleeting life." the hellion spat.
The churning wrath inside him boiled down as he took yet another piece from the remains of the wolf before tossing it far away where it landed in the dirt with a heavy thump and a rise of fine dust. Finally he turned to face the wolf, his snout stained with the blood of the creature he snacked from.
"I ask you this, maggot, have you a name? Or shall I continue to refer to you as maggot? Seeing as I have a right to do so." Darkness raised his head high, staring down with sinister eyes and a devilish sneer marking his face.

Griffin's eyes stayed the same angered cream-brown; or at least they were able to change that way quickly. When the stallion hit him on the chin, he gave a laugh. What immaturity this was. Though he was still scowling, it was obvious that he had found enjoyment in that. Running his tongue over his lips, he moved his mouth like he was popping gum.
"Okay, okay, Monsieur Horsey. I'll shut my mouth."
Watching the horse eat wolf meat, he almost broke down laughing, but zippered his mouth shut. He was sick of being a slave and this was his ticket out; and he ain't missin the plane this time.
"Maggot is just fine. But, they also call me Griffin in these parts."
He was being sassy and annoying at the same time as being 'polite' and doing what the 'big bad stallion' wanted. Licking his cream chops again, he looked at the stallion. Hoping that he would give him his name at least soon. [/blockquote] ooc;; BLAH! I'm gonna puke all over this one.

Growling threateningly, the brute took a great lunge forward towards the wolf. Both horrendously large talons beat twin depressions before the wolf's figure. Darkness flicked his tangled tail in irritation and glared intimidatingly down at the arrogant worm. His speech was angering him with every second. It was at that moment The Maggot Lord hoped secretly to himself that not all wolves were this way, lest he decide on keeping them mainly as dinner instead of helpers.
"Best you start behaving, flea bag, I have no time to be wasting on the likes of you. And you may refer to me only as, Lord Darkness, while within my presence. Unless of course you're seeking to end your life here and now, then I may be of assistance."
Backing up with a toss and a shake of his coarse mane, Darkness stamped the ground harshly. He was obviously angry, but by the glow in his eyes he did not entirely seem to be angry at Griffin. Perhaps it was something else, but he was certainly intent on claiming a few wolves to guard and protect his kingdom.
"Hm, my proposition is heavily wasted on you, Griffin, but I shall speak nonetheless. Refer to me as Lord Darkness and admit your eternal loyalty to my cause, and not only shall your position be a high one, but I shall give you leave to any one request from me, free of a beating. And no, you may not request any other names to call me." he added that last bit with a roll of his eyes.
Slowly the massive equine flexed his muscled shoulders as he waited impatiently for the wolf's reply. Even with his love of sarcasm and irksome ways, there was no way he could refuse such an offer as this, better was it than any other offer he had given before. Seeing as the request could be anything except what may free him from the dark master's clutches.

Griffin grinned. He was taking a liking to this Lord Darkness. He had class. Finally someone in that world that didn't make him refer to the-as they called themselves- Master. His flipping tail stopped. That was one of his signs of respect. Something he had never given to anyone before, but this guy actually earned it.
"Okay. I admit my eternal loyalty to you and your cause. I'll keep my request for later. You never know when you might need it."
He grinned a devious smile. He was going to save this little lease of freedom for later. Who knows when he might want to use the little treasure for something? There was something that the bratty little brujo had in mind, but he had his patience. He would take his good old time to see what he could do with that little grant. He was in no hurry. Where was he going anytime soon other than to 'Lord Darkness' land? There he just stood. Basically waiting for this big feller to bring him somewhere or do something. Even if he killed him, he wouldn't care. At least this life would be over and he'd finally get out of this place. [/blockquote] ooc;; Wow...crappier than ever.

"Very well," Darkness grumbled unhappily. He flicked his tail as he restrained taking out his wrath upon the small creature. "come along then, I have much to do and cannot have one such as yourself holding me back any longer, let us depart."
Turning away, Darkness began to walk away, his head was pivoted off to the side so as to make sure the wolven followed. Darkness had never met a wolf face to face before King, and so he was quite wary around their kind, especially those with brains. The sable horse snorted quietly, slowly continuing his smooth gait.

Giving a quick sneeze of blood, Griffin stood up on his three paws quite warily and groped after Darkness. There was something about the stallion. Like he had no clue what he was doing around wolves. But Griffin didn't give a sh.t. He was gettin out of this dump pronto and was happy about it. Darkness was weird, but respectable. The first one he had ever respected in fact. That was why he was coming without a fight. And because he knew he would lose...and die. His pace was not faltered by his missing paw. He had perfected his running after the incident. He didn't miss a step. He could run as fast as and possibly faster as any other wolf. There was no difference except the obvious sight. He was so good at perfecting things. The only thing he sucked at was speech. That's why he usually didn't talk...well all that much anyway. Keeping up with Darkness easily, they ascended down to his territory. ooc;; crap
