Faith I'd Lay My Life Down For You. Faith trotted to a stop, under a tree. It was a willow tree, and surrounded her. She felt safe inside. She tucked her legs unneath her, and layed down. This would be where she lived, she wanted to stay here, this place was nice. Her sides ached, from running all the way here, and she was very tired. Just thinking about a new foal made her heart race. Pain. And alot of it. She was sure. Faith could feel herself sweating, she she tried to stop thinking about it. Her thoughts searched for Shun, and she smiled. His face was in her mind, and she liked thinking of him. She was here to tell Phantom, half the ordeal was over.
Faith reared, but into the skin, and nieghed loudly. It was meant to show Phantom she was here, but it had pride in it. She smiled and leaned against the tree. Faith shook her mane, exausted, she could feel herself losing her balance. Wariness sweeping over her. Don't fall for it... I... must wait... for... Shun... Down, Faith fell. She hit the ground with a thud. Lord, she was tired. Maybe just a quick snooze? She tried to fight the wariness off, but in the end, fell into a fitful sleep.

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you. . ." Shun hadn't been able to help himself, the joy of finding a mate, and siring a foal all in one day had been too much for him to keep down. Their walk, Faith and him, had slowly turned into a trot, then a canter and finally Shun had let loose and had sailed over the ground with wings on his feet. Regrettably leaving Faith behind as he allowed his feeling to carry him home.
Returning to Vitra had been uneventful and swift, Shun returned to find no trace of Phantom, ( not that he looked very hard ) and nothing of Faith. He snorted and tossed his head irritated that he had been foolish enough to leave Faith alone on the way back. Pondering on whether he should turn back and try to find her and accompany her back, Shun decided he was just worrying over nothing. Faith had been with Phantom and at Vitra longer than he had, this was still only his first day, or second. Who was counting?
Black and white stallion lowered his head and started to familiarize himself with the terrain of Vitra, wanting to know where the biggest and smallest hole, rock, dip, root, and hollow was. This little quirk of his had been drilled into his head by his Former Master throughout his foal-hood. After about half and hour later he had covered a small deal of land and was about to move on when his head shot up, alert and ready, ears swiveling this way and that.
Having heard a loud, ringing neigh, it was summoning too. Picking up his feet, he flagged his tail and started out toward it. He watched the scenery as he went, trying to get to know Vitra, not wanting to get lost and get into trouble with Phantom.
Thoroughbred continued onward until he thought he had made a mistake somewhere along the way, about to turn around and let out a shrill whistle of his own, he then saw the willow. Shun blinked and let out a pent up breath, having held it again unknowingly. Starting toward the willow he went slowly, feeling for the first time in a while no need to rush and hurry to it. Coming up to the tree he peeked his head in, the willow branches stroked his face as he pushed it through.
Faith. She lay there, her crib was the few roots of the tree which hadn't made it into the ground as they should've. He smiled at her, not wanting to disturb her in anyway. He let her sleep. Backing softly, he turned and stood just outside of the willow. Weight shifted to a more comfortable position and he too allowed himself to doze a little, though he held more control over a fitful sleep and a quick nap. Main body was dead to the world, though senses worked overtime to keep him updated on what was around him as he napped and Faith slept like an angel on a cloud somewhere above in heaven.
OOC;; Better? ;P
