"Its been one week since you looked at me,
Cocked your head to the side and said 'Im angry'.
Five days since you laughed at me,
Saying get that together come back and see me."
Among a traveling duo, a tired voice rang out. "So, what are we going to say to anybody that asks why you're here?"A more chipper voice answered the first. "Good behavior.""Goose...""Better, right?""No. Slightly. But still no.""We there yet?""Thankfully, yes..."With that, the oddly paired duo- the tired speaker, a well-built she-wolf, of Arctic descent; and the more chipper one a gangly male whom seemed content to still be breathing- entered the area of the Auction Rock, by Wolf Rock where the wolves were claimed and traded, and such and more. Stalking off and away into the crowd, the pair angled off toward a little more quiet area, which wasn't all that quiet. You could at least hear some of your thoughts. Arctic dame sat her .ss down with a huff, looking over to her trailing slave. "You're job today, is to find somebody that'll take you off of my hands. I never should've traded Owl..." The male, whom had more energy than the female allowed his jowls to crack open and a long tongue to slip out and curl as he panted from the days travel. "Aw, Lee, you're leaving so soon?" Dame eyed the collar which encircled Goose's neck, a rusty chain one, long dug up and slipped over his scrawny neck. She'd discovered it had been a good discipline for him, seeing as if you pulled one end it tightened considerably around his throat. "It's Master, not Lee."A wave of her white tail, she got up to her paws and looked sternly at him, making him lower his gaze with a whimper. "I find myself thinking that you'll stay here until somebody finds you interesting enough to take home?" Scrawny male cracked his jowls open again and another laughing smile showed, "Of course, M'Lady. I would never have thought other wise." Female raised her hackles and growled with a threat, before stalking off and vanishing into the crowd leaving the cowardly Goose behind and alone, sitting with his smile. "Thus, here I find myself on good behavior. What shall I do first?" Voice cracked as he spoke to himself, taking a casual glance about him with a quiet huff. A slave was being propped up, and prodded and told to show his teeth. Not to far away was a strong looking Master eying a cowering female. Just across, was some whelps being separated and one unlucky one being taken by the scruff of the neck and carried off, leaving unhappy siblings behind. Ah, pups. The future's only hope to keep life going on the miserable little planet that allowed them all to stay on it's surface and live as they did without any comments, or second glances. Discovering he still felt well enough to make double time, he picking himself up and shook his ruddy-looking coat and headed off. Goose shook himself, took another cautious glance around and headed off into the crowds, taking a good look at what was around him. His smile gradually faded until he had to paint one on as he took all the going-on's about him, things that he hadn't wanted to see in the first place. Within minutes he found himself on the other side of the large bustling crowds, passing a line of cages. Voices hissed out at him, urging him to flee from such a horror stricken land, merciless and cruel to all that did not possess the title of 'Master'. Ducking his head, he turned, nearly running into somebody, he yelped out an apology and quickly dashed away. Tail between legs, he doubted it but he second guessed himself and allowed his mind to tell him that he was behind followed. Ears agreed, picking up paw steps that followed him every step of the way. Raggedy Red Wolf fox trotted all the way back to where his former Master had left him, he quickly turned to see that nobody had been following him. It had been his imagination, breathing out he turned and caught Lee's gaze tried and true. He yelped and immediately flipped over onto his back, tail between legs. "I knew , I just knew you'd do something like that." Goose squinted and dolled out one of his infamous smiles, "That why you came back? Here I thought, it was because you missed me." The she-wolf sighed and a growl tickled in her throat, "Don't push it, Goose."Next thing Red Wolf knew was that he had been attached to a tree with little difficulty, his collar slipped over a pointy knot in the tree. Male had to sit in a dignified, and regal manner to allow himself to breath normally and not get choked until he found himself at either Heaven's Gates or Hell's Gates. Scraggly tail beat the earth in a pathetic manner, ears pinned and a whine grew in his throat. "So much for that going my way." Why he hadn't made a bee-line for the exit was beyond him and anybody that had been watching. Muddy brown male sat, stiff and erect in a forced position that made his back ache and groan. "Good for the bones, they say. They, obviously never tried it." Goose was one for one sided conversations, they didn't end up with him stuck in somebody else's teeth, a much preferred way to stay living. Word Count: 1025 ( wow. beat my record. x3 ) Editted. Kamikaze
Kamikaze watched the interesting wolf. He was hilarious. She had to fight back a smile. A real smile. Kamikaze never showed any emotions, yet he was pulling one onto her maw. Escaping, everything he said mad he laugh. She felt feelings for a long time in her life. Kamikaze walked towards the wolf, her paw pads thumping against the ground. Kamikaze held her head up high and she opened her mouth. Running her across her lip she jumped over the gate into the pen. A large thump bursted through the air as she landed.
Kamikaze took a second to look at the claw marks dug into the dirt, then proceeded. Her tail kept wagging as she went towards the one wolf in the world that made her feel. Weird that he could do that. Stopping right in front of the wolf, her lyrics flew out. " Name, age, and skills. I am Kamikaze your new master. But that could change." A laugh slipped out. "Be good and good things happen. Do bad things and bad things happen." Kamikaze sat down and looked at the slave. "Understand?"
A bird flew over head and landed in a tree grabbing Kamikaze's attention. "Oh my fault. Why exactly are you here?" She really wanted to know what he would say. Maybe this time a real laugh would slip out. A slight smirk was on her usual stone face. She really did grow to like this wolf. Beta perhaps, maybe better who knows. Right now she had to make sure she had ownership of him.
Kamikaze watched as a big brute took a tiny female pup. Screeches slipped out of her litter mates. Then the brute left. Surely bad things would happen to her. But Kamikaze didn't have a bit of sympathy for her or her siblings. She turned around redirecting her attention towards the slave. She waited patiently for his answers.

Goose sat, stiff and still, back pressed up against the tree. By the looks he seemed upset but still happy, as if he didn't want to admit he was beyond cheering up at that point and place of time. Tail had ceased it's rhythmic beating on the earth- not that many could hear that rhythm in the first place. Ears glued themselves down against his skull as he squinted at the things going on around him. He sighed and closed his eyes, imagining himself somewhere happier and much further away than where he was presently.
"Go to my happy place, happy place... I think I got it! My happy place, ah, I see it now, my happy place... Where is my happy place?"
A rather loud thud! brought the Red Wolf back to Real Life and his unknown happy place vanished as if it had never been there- which was quite true, seeing as he had never reached his happy place. Eyes peeked open and beheld a lightly blue tinted dame whom strutted quite regally in his little penned domain, he eyed her slyly, taking in her power- seeing as she had jumped the fence quite easily without a second glance; and her opinion of herself seeing as she remained quiet and bottled. Her wagging tail kept him from going back to his happy place, her green eyes made his dull brown ones to look in another direction, he offered a smile and croaked form his predicament.
"Is it visiting hour already? Here I thought it was arts and crafts, I was going to--"
Voice was cut off as she spoke boldly and cut right to the chase, there was no beating around the bush with her.
"Ah, okay, well... I could start by telling you those things, but then- what would we have to talk about... Kamikaze?" He added her name once she stated it and her business at the Wolf Rock. "Oh, yes, understood."
Ears crept forward as he understood her words, and another infamous smile came striding boldly out in a suit of armor that might've been aluminum foil.
"Well, in that case... Goose, at your service. Age? That's very personal, I've kept it a secret for two and a half years! How could I tell you it now? Skills? Oh, not many I should say... But, if I'm going home with you tonight, then I might as well rustle some up, eh? Not a fighter, a lover. Not strong, a peace maker. Not motherly, fatherly."
As the b.tches attention sailed away momentarily with the bird's coming, so did his. Her level voice brought him back quite suddenly, "Huh? Oh, why am I here?" He couldn't help but give another smile, and stare her straight in the eyes without a hint of humor in his voice. Though his smile had receded to hide in his eyes, which didn't have very good camouflage.
"Good behavior."

Kamikaze
Smart alec. Happy place? Well in this world there is no more happy places. Hate to break it to you. Still even though he was making her mad and misbehaving, she liked him. He actually made her laugh. Some emotions we're being dragged back out. But they would probably only be seen around him. " Aw.. yes they had to skip arts and crafts! They ran out of red paint. They said if I came and got some of your blood we could continue. How about that for 'ya?" Kamikaze grinned.
Two can play your game. But only one can win. Which shall be me. This slave began talking about a conversation. " I don't need to have a conversation with you, just need my answers." Kamikaze was really finding his fooling around rude and ignorant. If he embarrasses her in front of all the guard, she'd be forced to punish him. And she meant punish him. "Very nice name. No skills? I shall make you have some then." A frown slinked it's way onto her face. " You have no privacy now. I shall know everything. So I guess your streak is over. Now answer my question. How old are you?"
She was dead serious. She asked a question, and she wanted to know the answer. She wouldn't take this from a slave. A smile was jerked onto her face. "Here for good behavior. I see. Well then the punishment will be double, since you've been good." She sighed, "So if you were good one time, then disrespectful another. That means you disrespect me." Kamikaze wondered if the idiot slave would understand and comply. It would be a good realtionship if he did. But something screamed that he wouldn't.

Goose flattened his ears and lost any sense of his good humor as the personality behind the mask came striding forward into the light, a little bit at a time.
"Blood? My blood? ... Oh, here it comes..."
Forelimbs had to splay a little to keep himself from choking, wooziness passed and he regained himself with a short cut whine at her smile. Gaze lowered and he stilled his voice with control, ears remained flat and his posture shrunk with great skill.
"Thanks.. M'nickname's Oddball... Kamikaze a really nice name too."
He risked his glance upward at a mention of creating some skills for him, ear cocked curiously but nothing was said. No privacy? Well, that wouldn't be too hard to live without, he thought. Seeing as he never got much from anybody. She'd know everything? Everything? He didn't know about that but he dare didn't argue or protest about that. For the moment at least, that is.
He quirked his brow and flattened his ears again, "My age?"
Hadn't he said it already? indeed he had, cloaked in some disguise but he had said it. Well, least he knew she wasn't too great of a listener. Oh, wait, there was no beating around the bush with her. He'd said, 'Age? That's very personal, I've kept it a secret for two and a half years!'
"I'm two and a half."
Double the punishment? Eep. Another whine started in his throat, his smile came back after little coaxing, though there hadn't been much to smile about. It had been a spontaneous smile, as if covering up what he truly felt at that moment. Back screamed it's desire to regain it's natural curve, seeing as the tree had it's own natural straight-ness instead.
"Well, if you say so, then it must be done. Seeing as your word is law, and I'm right where the law, for disobeying them, spits at people- or worse..."
Red Wolf squinted his eyes and gave his tail a flop or two nowhere, he found her more patient than Lee but not so much as his first owners. He hid a wince at the memory of himself getting trained to behave as a slave, a stepping stone, a tree to piss on, and just the dog to kick to the higher and mightier people around him. Masters. He'd knew he'd never make it in the world as anything more than a slave- a free roamer? He'd get his butt whooped then get kicked down to a slave again. A Master? Ha! He couldn't own a slave anymore than a lion love a lamb. Slave? Ah, there he fitted somewhat perfectly. He had some rough spots that one needed to firmly buff out and some places shone. Other than his attitude and so-called humor- he fit the description of a slave.
He sighed nearly inaudibly and flickered his gaze over to Kamikaze who stood like a master should, and acted like a Master should as well. Eyes soon lowered and tail stopped it's flopping, nothing to do but wait and see if his answers were acceptable.

Kamikaze
Kamikaze was almost cracking up on the inside when it seemed he thought he was about to be beaten. Now why in the world would she do that when he hadn’t made her made yet? Yet was the key, but none the less if he stayed on her good side nothing bad would truly happen to him. “Got a thing against blood or is it the beating thing in genral?” Kamikaze thought about this for a second. Surely it was the beating itself because there was no way it was blood. How would he eat if it was blood?
Thinking about it she chuckled. A vegetarian wolf. How hilarious would that be? She heard of some dumb wolf some where in Sobibor that had a pet rabbit! An alphaess and a stupid one at that. Who keeps food as a pet? Surely she never heard don’t play with your food before you eat it. “So you do eat meat right? Because I can’t see a wolf afraid of blood. I mean how exactly would you eat?” Looking over she waited for his answer. Thinking some more, she realized she would never want to give up meat. Rabbits, geese, deer. Yum!
Meat was just so good, it was made for wolves. Pulling back her attention she nodded as he mentioned names. “I’ll just call you Goose thank you. But as for my name, thank you very much.” Looking around Kamikaze made herself very aware of her surroundings. No one was going to surprise her, like it or not. She was aware of every wolf around her at the moment. Tapping her foot she waited impatiently. She wanted to leave now.
She didn’t like it here much. It bored her and she had better thing to do. “Ah don’t worry about punishment much! I’m sure you’ll be just fine and proper.” Looking around once more she saw it was almost dark outside. Possibly night time or maybe even a storm. Best they get going soon. “So would you like to leave with me now?” Smiling a fake smile, for she never shows emotions, Kamikaze stood up. Lunging forward she broke the chain attached to Goose and began strolling away towards her home land.
ooc: -bashes head on wall- I got punished and finally finished the final draft for my essay. So here it it. I have more time now, and tend to post more in my lands so it should be way better, I'll post like right away from now on =D

Goose Goose looked up once the she-wolf spoke to him again, he grinned sheepishly at her question and flattened his ears. "Well... Not really blood, or beating in general. It's my blood that I have a thing against," He looked embarrassed then added, "It's not everyday you get to see your own blood, so I somehow got dealt to be a wimp around my own blood. Not something I enjoy looking at everyday. Minor cuts I can handle, large bite-size chunks I must argue against..."
He had nothing against blood. He loved lapping it up at a kill, when it was still warm. Though, somehow he just couldn't handle seeing his own blood. Something in him screamed: EW! So he got woozy, passed out, went unconscious or... Fainted. If you'd like the exact term of it.
He perked his ears when Kamikaze chuckled, he wondered if it had been something he had said, or something he had done, or if it had even been him in the first place. "Oh of course I eat meat, I don't think I could live without it. I'd be skin and bones." Not much of a change from what he was now. He might gain a few extra pounds if he was given the chance to, but he was usually kept thin to keep any rebellion in him from growing too strong. Not that he could rebel or even think of doing such a thing. Goose knew he wouldn't make it more than a week on his own, he needed company, some beasts around him.
"You'll call me Goose, gotcha. Now, may I inquire, what do I call you? Mistress Kamikaze? Miss Kamikaze? Madam? Ma'am? Master? Kamikaze?" Goose wanted to straighten out titles first of all, they were important and might even, someday, save his ass from something bad. He cringed at the tapping of her foot, she seemed impatient. Was she impatient with him? Oh, dear... What had he done? He was going to get a beating, wasn't he?
His new Master's next words stopped his thoughts and he gave an impish grin, "Fine and proper, if you say so. I shall be fine and proper!" He didn't want to get on her bad side on the first day of getting picked up from Auction Rock. Goose watched he look around then back at him, catching her smile, he gave one of his infamous smiles. "I'd love to leave with you now, lead the way!"
About to leap forward, he remembered at the last minute his chain and was about to sheepishly ask for her assistance when the she-devil lunged at him- dangerously close. He didn't even have time to beg for mercy, or whimper or cry when he heard the sound of his chain slumping into the dirt. Broken and ruined, unable to be used again. Goose slumped forward into the dirt, his back on fire from being straight for more than an hour or two- his own calculations.
Panting softly he stood as quick as he could and shook himself off, dirt and debris flew everywhere and he staggered like a drunkard for about a good twenty or thirty paces before regaining his normal long legged lope. Red Wolf followed the extremely light blue Fae without a word and without a backward glance at his tree. Mind brewing ideas of what his new home would look like and how long Kamikaze would decide to keep him and his so-called humor around, he hoped a long time. Goose felt her beginning to grow on him.
OOC;; Shall you or me start a thread in the Black Forest, or somewhere? :3[/blockquote]
