Nevermore was disappointed. Plagued by boredom, she had endlessly searched for hours for an antidote but found nothing. Nothing. Disappointment had leaked into the female, overwhelming her other thoughts and emotions. Nevermore let out a sigh. It was at these times, when she was at least eighty percent bored every day, that Nevermore decided it was time to leave.Over time, even that would turn dull and the quest for entertainment would begin again. Mamma mia, where have all the good men gone? Whispering winds accompanied by a show of flickering lights. The lights were dim against the brilliant flakes of white obscuring Nevermore's vision. Looking around, Never felt herself smile in satisfaction. Rogue Meadows. She had been here once before, therefore found the territory familiar and in a strange way, welcoming. Hm... Slender limbs sank in the thin layer of snow like stilettos. She could feel the last bits of moss dying away beneath the frigid carpet of ice above. It had been different the last time she had been here. Small patches of moss and vegetation had still been apparent and the closely knitted trees had been dressed in a wardrobe of green. Blue eyes took in the surroundings. Vanity. The woods had gotten a makeover and Nevermore didn't like it one bit. Things had changed once again, leaving Miss Nox in the position of a stranger in a familiar part of town.
Nevermore continued to advance into the meadows, the bitter winds nipping at her slim form. Nevermore gave it little attention as her thick coat provided a sufficient protection from the cold. Mm...One of my prized possessions being used as a suit of armor...It's not right is it? Long and silky, Nevermore's black, white, and gray fur was truly a prize. It was so different from the others that wandered the land that she wanted to just point and laugh. She was different from the bunch and in Never's mind, different translated into beautiful. Beauty was perceived differently for people...A curious thing that changed with the seasons. Cupid didn't discriminate. His golden arrows were shot randomly, pairing up (sometimes) the most unlikely wolves together and hell, they were as happy as clams to be together. Heaven forbid it happen to me. Clever little Nevermore continued to avoid the arrows flung by the god of love, dancing gracefully from just inches away it landed. She was a wild thing that would not be tamed, a prize for any hunter and a trophy for those who captured her. Oh but deary, that's not going to be happening anytime soon! Hah! Why not give it a go?

ooc// hope you don't mind me joining? ;D
Valko frowned slightly, he'd only ever been here once before when he was little but a cub and therefore barely recalled it. He slid slightly down a small bank as he entered the meadow properly. he glanced around at all the snow and flexed his claws, taking his time to observe everything going on around him. he liked what he did recall of this place, however he'd never visited in winter, only spring. he preferred the winter, the snow was a perfect cover when he didn't want to be found, but it also made tracking much easier. he smiled slightly to himself and glanced around, taking in the sights and the smells. he thought he caught sight of a she-wolf not far off and tilted his head as he watched her. odd little thing she looked, not like the others he'd seen around more recently. he wondered if she was friendly or not.
The further he padded into the meadows the windier he realized it was. he frowned slightly and padded some of the ground beneath him so that he would be able to lie down and get out of the wind. he chose a spot just by a small tree, not much cover if it became bad weather, but perfectly shaped to block the wind. he padded the ground by his little spot and lay down, stretching his forepaws before bringing them back to himself and curling up, letting his tail wag every now and then. he looked over to see where that she-wolf had gone and sighed to himself, he hadn't seen his pack for over a year or so now. he missed them, but he was certainly glad to be rid of them at the same time. his rumbling stomach reminded him that he hadn't eaten today yet, he frowned and made a mental note to hunt later before it got too dark. he laid his head down and rubbed his left paw against the scar under his left eye, the wind had irritated it slightly. he licked it and it felt a bit better. feeling finally able to relax with nothing bothering him except a slight cold breeze that came around his tree every now and then, he put his head back down on his paws and relaxed.

ooc//not at all!
What's this now? A mix of gray and brown caught her eye amidst the scenery of white. Moving closer for a better view, the plain outline of a wolf began to form. Aw, what's he doing under there? A small smile played upon her lips. The answer was pretty plain and simple. He didn't want to freeze his butt off. Psh, my .ss is still on, thank you very much. Scared of a little cold? she drawled once a few feet away from the "den." Eh who gives? Rabbits made burrows, wolves found makeshift dens.
Her eyes traced over his masculine figure. Males were far more interesting to look at. They were symbols of power and the first to walk the earth. But then again, that is nothing but a bunch of silly beliefs... Nevermore believed in equality of the sexes and that there were times where one gender was far more superior than the others. A perfect example was now. Females were regarded as treasures and queens during the love-season. The mere scent of one drove the boys wild with ecstasy and groveling at one's feet. A hint of a smile tugged on Nevermore's lips. Ah but I am a treasure and queen....What's more, I'm a goddess. Don't' you agree? Ambitious and vain, Nevermore forced herself to snap out of her thoughts and continue her observation. My, I get side-tracked easily don't I?
From her point of view, the stranger was almost perfect with his lanky, but muscular build and luxurious coat of a thousand shades. What really snagged her attention were the two amber eyes that fell gently upon her. She felt his heated gaze travel along her figure and she loved it. She had craved the attention the male was giving her for so long and now he was giving it to her. So Never stood still like a good little model, waiting for him to finish and speak. Ah what a handsome boy... Eyes flicked to his face. What sculptor made you boy? Never admired his skill, taking time over his his face. Her oceanic eyes stroked his straight, slender muzzle that held a certain feminine (but by no means "sissy") flair. Lift those lips, she begged silently before moving on. She found herself go up the cheeks (and what wondrous bone structure he had) and rest upon his eyes once again. Mm....Fire...I want your eyes demon. No, correction. She craved and desired them.
Silence fell between them. The wind had died down for a peaceful slumber and the chatter of the birds had been subdued. A hater of long, awkward silences between two acquaintances, Nevermore waited impatiently for the opportunity of speech to come up again. Perhaps...he's shy? A shy-boy? Not another one of these! Shall we try this again then? she asked innocently. Evening Monsieur.

ooc// Only short post today sorry - have to go out urgently.
Valko thought about where to possibly head around to after he had moved on from here and once more his thoughts drifted to his old pack, he wondered if the she-wolf in the meadow with him had left her pack also. Or perhaps they weren't that fair away, waiting for her. He lifted his head as she approached him and studied her for a time. Her mask of white that clung to her beautiful eyes and down her chest was almost silky. His eyes floated along her slender frame, all the way down to her tail. For a moment his eyes met hers and he watched her, glancing deeper into them and smiled slightly. Beautiful eyes, but surely there was something else hidden behind them? Perhaps a challenge for him later if she chose to stay around. He tilted his head when she greeted him. Not often that he was greeted on his travels, if she was after his make-shift den then let her find another, he barely knew her anyway. Although if she was fairly decent he may let think of sharing for he wasn't completely heartless, it was quite cold after all. But for the moment the wind had died down somewhat considerably. He looked her up and down once more before speaking, "Good evening.."
