The sounds of heavy hooves raining down upon the snow-covered ground could be heard all throughout the lands of Zephyr. Whipcord swirled around as if it was nothing in the harsh winds of winter. Who was the equine who dared to intrude upon Sonyador's territory? None other than Preston, the mustang of Sobibor. His pelt resembled that of a paint's, with brown on white, a beautiful cream color swirling around the darker splashes. Mane was half white, half brown. Preston was the type of stallion who you would never forget once you meet him. His dazzling pelt and bright eyes of chocolate were nothing, though, compared to his open mind. After the abduction of his dear mother, Preston had wandered Sobibor for who knows how long until he happened upon the lush terrain of Zephyr. If ever a horse was in love with his land, this was one of those rare cases. The instant Preston lay eyes on the meadow simply bathing in sunlight, he was sold. It was almost like a prairie hidden within a protective fence of trees; Zephyr was a secret, never to be found out about by anyone but its true owner.
Raising his massive head to the sky, tail high with pride, Preston called out a challenge for these breath-taking lands. He didn't care who heard his call, or what anyone thought about him. He would make Zephyr his, no matter what the cost. If it meant a fight, oh, would he fight! If not, then he would proudly take it over within a time frame much shorter than that of a heartbeat.
"I challenge Sonyador for ownership of Zephyr!"
