Bluebird's Song I'm here looking for one thing... The sun's rays peered through the treetops of Crimson Rock, casting shadows on everything below. Nothing seemed to move; all was silent. The only sound that was to be heard was that of trickling water, as ice melted from tree branches and struck the ground below. Wait... what was that? There was a slight brushing of the undergrowth before everything fell silent. Oh! There it was again. This time, it was a bit louder. Any darkness that the forest had once held seemed to gradually fade away as a wolfess emerged from the shadows. Her pelt was long, silky, and the color of sand. Pools the color of a bluebird's feather glowed with a sense of determination as the vix moved forward, pink pads tenderly kissing the almost-thawed ground. With her came the scent of the beach, though it was not really the ocean in which she had just come from; it was actually the hot springs that Shechem was famous for.
The wolfess sat down a few yards inside of Crimson Rock territory and curled her long, feathered tail around her front paws. She lifted her head and pointed her nose to the sky above. Lips formed the shape of an 'o' and a howl erupted from deep down in the fae's chest. There was only one wolf in which she was calling to her, and that was Oynx, the leader of this territory. Although her mate, Baldric, would probably be unhappy to hear of his Alphaess leaving the safety of Shechem to travel far away to speak with a brute like Oynx. Well, 'Ric was going to have to accept the fact that Bluebird's Song had an opinion of her own; she knew that someday, should anything happen, they would need a pack that would help them out. Her mission today? To find a friend in the Crimson Rock Pack. ...and one thing only

The one and only Grinding Diamonds set foot out of his den. He stretched and yawned, relaxed. Which was nice for once. He decided to go hunting. He hadn't killed anything in weeks, leaving it all to his slave. He trotted and gained speed, bounding through his territory. He ran like the wind, after a deer he had seen. It was fast, but not enough. Oynx couldn't tell you how much hunting meant and felt to him. The wind brushed against his fur. He could cry out with joy. He gained more and more speed, jumping over tree limbs, small creeks, and rocks. He finally tackled it and ripped with all his might. It was over faster then it started. He just started to eat it when he heard a howl. It wasn't a challenge, to a small relief. It sounded like a femora. He set down the deer and sniffed his surroundings. He would remember this area for when he was done with this female.
Oynx bounded through the terrian faster then he had when he was hunting. The brute skidded to a stop in front of the femora. He smirked and asked,What's a pretty, delicate thing doin' in a dirty brute's land alone? Noe worries, you ain't in no trouble, just tell me why your here, and I'll let you go. Oynx said smoothly. He reginized this female as the alphess of Shechem, but he wasn't going to tell her that. He was simpley going to see what she would do first, then tell her... maybe. The tank sat down and watched the femora. He knew she wasn't a threat, but never would he let his guard down. Never. Oynx just wanted to know. If anything, this female needed to have a good reason, or she'd in up in the same situation as his to other queens.

Bluebird's Song I may not be a threat now... The sound of approaching paws thudding the ground with much force quickly met the auds of the sandy wolfess. A dark figure soon appeared, no doubt thinking about what he could do to her. As he spoke, she could sense how "evil" he thought that he was.
"What's a pretty, delicate thing doin' in a dirty brute's land alone? No worries, you ain't in no trouble, just tell me why your here, and I'll let you go."
Song couldn't help but raise her eyebrows, an unlady-like move no doubt. So he thought he could win her over, maybe take her in as a slave? Ha, then this brujo had another thing coming. However, Bluebird's Song held herself back from making a stinging comment towards the infamous Oynx; she would remain polite, for she knew that it would do her or her pack no good to p.ss off someone who could cause them great harm in the future.
"Greetings; Oynx, I presume? Well, my name is Bluebird's Song; I'm the Alphaess of Shechem. Anyway, my reason for intruding upon your land is because I was hoping that you would like to become allies with my pack. Obviously, should anything happen on either side, the other pack will help those in need, though I'm sure you already know what the word 'alliance' means."
She didn't say anything about how she was going to leave, regardless of what he wanted, nor did the vix mention that he's not the "Big, Bad Wolf," no matter how much he thought he was. Bluebird's Song was going to remain as polite as she could possibly be. ...but what if you try something? Ooc; Okay... muse just DIED. I'm sorry, but this post SUCKS.

Oynx looked at the 'pretty little thing', as she seemed. But females were more then tricky when it came to alphaesses, if the alpha chose right. He just smirked at her as she spoke.
Oynx laughed hardily. Allies? Possibley. Only if you relize my land my not need yours as much you'll need mine. Of course I know what alliance means, Bluebird. I've already made one with Amerata. Just lemme tell you, we ain't gunna be comin' to your rescue unless you send some kinda fast, speedy little wolf to come tell us. We aren't those creep future tellin' wolves. Oynx sneered. He snorted at her expression. Females were so over the top, that's why he chose to rein alone. Females would just get in the way. Meh, he wasn't going to elslave her. Of course not. She had a decent reason, he supposed. He grunted once more.
Anything else? Other then that, you can leave. Now run along to your little mate and say I'll come rescue him if he needs it. Oynx said with a drawling voice. The brute had narrowed eyes through out the whole conversation. He remembered sneaking through the lands of Sachem when we was looking for a decent land. Oh how did he get away with it.

Bluebird's Song Not so fast, big boy... "Allies? Possibley. Only if you realize my land my not need yours as much you'll need mine. Of course I know what alliance means, Bluebird. I've already made one with Amarata. Just lemme tell you, we ain't gonna be comin' to your rescue unless you send some kinda fast, speedy little wolf to come tell us. We aren't those creepy future tellin' wolves."
Bluebird's Song sucked in her cheeks and held her breath as the brute spoke; the expression that she gave him was almost expectant. She knew d.mn well that the likely-hood of either pack needing the other's help was almost nothing, but it was still the same percentage. However, the wolfess decided not to comment on what he had just said.
"Of course you're not a mind-reader; those who claim to be are creepy, because they believe that they have mystical powers that really don't exist. Anyway... Shechem thanks you for your alliance, though I'm sure neither of our packs will ever need the help of the other."
She completely ignored Oynx's last comment; Song was not about to stoop to his level and start throwing insults, as much as she wanted to. When he told her to leave, she dipped her head, murmered the words "of course," and turned to trot away, head and tail rising in the position of full authority as soon as she crossed the border. Pace quickened and she was out of sight. ...you'll need help someday
