Cassandra cantered over the fine sand and small waves that reached for her hoofs. She reared with her sparkling wet hoofs flashing in the sun. As she moved away from the shore, she stopped where the sand stopped and grass started, as if there was a sign saying: Do Not Cross. She started nibbling on the grass as two white birds with long necks and legs landed on her back. They pecked at her pelt, getting rid of some stray bugs. She raised her head up towards the clouds, wishing to find a stallion to help her fill her dreams. She lowered her head to continue nibbling on some soft clovers.

Demontor, or known as Demon, walked along the beach. Head up, ears forward and his eyes narrowed he broke into a trot. Enjoying the small run he pushed into a faster gate. Cantering into the shallow part of the ocean Demon slowed. Lowering his muzzle to the water he took a deep drink. Flicking his chestnut tail at some pesky flies he lifted his head as he noticed a mare nibbling at some grass.
Demon walked out of the water and towards the mare. Knowing that the mare was no slave and deserved respect he nieghed lightly to annouce his arrival. "Excuse me miss i just happened to notice you all alone over here and i thought you would enjoy some company" Demon looked at the mare through ember eyes. "I would be Demontor but you may call me Demon if you like" Swishing his tail again to relief himself of flies Demon waited patiently for the mare to reply.

Cassandra looked at the larger stallion as he spoke to her and picked up her head soon after he started speaking. When he had finished she said, "I am Cassandra, or Cassie, but I prefer Cassandra." She flecked her tail at the birds on her back and they shreiked and flew away. "Yes I would like some company. I've been alone for just under a year." she said, "Where do you live?" She rubbed her head against her leg to get rid of an ich.

Demon smiled "Currently i am wondering though i am going to start my own herd one day" He said while pretending to daydream while he was really watching Cassandra closely. He flicked his tail again this time out of aggravation that he didn't have a herd yet. "All alone" He smiled. "A mare like you shouldn't be all alone." Moving to the other side of her Demon put his head down and grabbed a few blades of grass.

Cassandra listened carefully and thought for a second. Cassandra moved slowly toward the stallion and rested her brown and white head against his gleaming chestnut side, not sure if he would mind or not. She then said, "I could help make your herd if you would like." She lifted her head a couple of inches and flicked her soft velvety ear towards him while the other scanned around them for anything threatening. Her ear turned towards a squaking seagull as another of its own kind got too close to its nest.

Demon felt the small mare lean her head on his side. He smiled though his smile turned into a grin as he heard what she said next. "Oh you would" He said smiling at the mare as she moved her head up higher. "I think you would be a perfect Cassandra to help start my herd" Moving his head down to her Demon nuzzled her by the ear. Demon also flicked one ear out to listen to the sounds of the beach making sure they didn't get interupted.

Cassandra rubbed her head slightly against his side and pressed her body against his and said, "I would like that." She watched him carefully and flicked both ears towards him. She then walked away from him and started to canter away from him playfully saying, "Come and catch me." She slowly cantered into the ocean water and stopped when the cool, clear water was up to her barrel. She turned towards him and watched him.

Watching as the smaller mare ran into the water Demon smirked. Charging into the water after her he arched his neck and nipped playfully at her mane. "The water is so nice and cool don't you agree" He said while showing off his now soaking coat which seemed to glitter in the hot sun. Throwing his head up he moved over to her back side and nuzzled on the tip of her tail. Nickering softly he moved up to face her his forelock covering one of his eyes.

Cassandra looked at him and said, "Demon, will you take my to your kingdom, where ever it might be?" She was certainly falling for him. She liked bigger stallions like him. She reached out with her snow colored nose and touched his. She snorted gently and touched her nose to the water and splashed him. She also swished her tail to splash more of the cool clear ocean water at his face. She waited to see what he would do.

Demon frowned. 'I already have a lead mare and i do need another slave' He thought himself.'but i will not make a slave out of her' Demon sighed. "Cassandra i..." He was cut off when she splashed water into his face. Grinning he splashed her right back. He knew she was falling for him and he knew he was playing with her but for some reason he couldn't stop. The mare was cerntainly interesting.

Cassandra laughed and noticed he looked a little worried about something, but she couldnt tell what. As he splashed hher back she turned towards shore and stopped when only her ankles when in the water. She got down on her knees and started rolling on her back. Sand and water tried to take over her pelt, but only one could take control. The fine sand stuck to her sides, but not her back. She rolled back onto her knees and asked, "Is there something wrong Demon?"

Demon watched as Cassandra walked to the shore. Following her he heard her ask him what is wrong. "Well Cassandra, i seem to be in a predicament." He said calmly hoping he wouldn't hurt her. " My land is only big enough for 3 horses not including myself" He paused watching her reaction. "I have my lead mare, and one slave" He sighed and closed his eyes. "I find myself in need of another slave but i found you and i don't know what to do" It was hard to find Demon in such a state as he usually knew what do.

Cassandra looked at the ground and said, "Oh." She rested the tip of her snout on the ground and thought. She closed her eyes, but kept her ears scanning around her. She thought for a cople of second and then lifted her head and opoened her eyes. She slowly got up and said quietly, "I could wait til you get a bigger land. I dont want to take away a spot for a slave from your herd." She looked at him and said, "I could be a slave for you until you get bigger land."

Demon looked surprised that she would wait. But when she said she would be a slave his eyes widened in shock. "NO" He yelled in a gruff voice. "No" He said more quietly. "Being a slave is not what you want" He looked down at her. "Wait for me i will come when i have more land" He looked around at the shore."For now stay here and i will visit often" Looking down he waited to see if she would disagree with him.

Cassandra threw her head up at his reaction. She hadnt expect such a reaction. She said, "I will wait as long as I can." She turned her hazel eyes towards his own and dug her front hoofs into the ground and pulled it backwards, drawing a straight line. She then turned and drew a line prepindicular to that. She said, "I promise that I will wait for you." She shuck her mane and some of it came out of her eyes but it was still covering her right one just a little.
