Allegra Allegra and Zeere had been playing at Liberty Shores, and decided to explore. Allegra cantered into the canyons, a bit nervous about what she would find there, but excited at the same time. She snorted hot air through her nostrils, and tossed her head with excitment. This is wonderful! I've never seen anything like this! she exclaimed to Zeere. |

Zeere cantered in behind Allegra a few strides behind her. She wasn't nervous at all, just full of excitement. Flints thudded against the hard ground. She nickered to Allegra and caught up to her. Harks perked, orbs bright, looking at the view at the top of the canyons. It is a beautiful view, isn't it? Nares snorted as the wind picked up, carrying lots of dust and scent from inside the canyon. It wasn't like anything she'd ever smelt before. Let's go in the canyon

It is, very beautiful! And yes, let's go. Allegra said, and began taking small steps down into the canyon. Her nares were open and her auds were perked slightly as the walked closer to the path down into the canyon. As she neared the path, she snorted to Zeere, and spoke: The canyon. I'm not exactly sure what to expect of it...

Don't worry, neither do I. Vocals called ahead to her as she started the long declind down the canyon walls. She could hear rocks cascading down the sides. Harks were perked, listening to Allegra and the natural sounds of the canyon environment. Daggers were careful as she worked her way down the trail. Allegra was a few strides ahead of her now.

Allegra slowly made her way down the canyon wall, listening behind her as Zeere followed. Rocks gave way under hoof and cascaded down the walls, echoing like bombs in the deep canyon. Allegra turned to check on Zeere, and as she did, a large rock slipped under her daggers, knocking her off balance and skidding down the path on her side. ZEERE!!! she called out, scared as she slid towards the edge of the path. Her body slid over the egde, and hit the ground with a sickening thump. Allegra whinnied meekly and stood up slowly and painfully. She looked up at Zeere, about 7 feet above her, and spoke: Good thing we were close to the ground, right? Just be careful the rest of the way down here. I don't like the shortcut I took. she giggled, but her side ached.

An audit flicked as she heard a sudden crumbling of the earth before her. She looked up to see Allegra falling, and yelling her name. Vocals froze in the shock. Allegra, are you okay? Vocals were full of worry as she looked over the edge. Luckily, it wasn't that far down. She took a step back so she wouldn't fall as well. Optics looked for another way down to Allegra. Father down the cliff was smaller. She ran over there, then jumped down. She carefully troted over to Allegra. Are you hurt? vocals asked again. It was her fault for suggesting to come here. She sighed worridely.

I believe I will be okay. Allegra sighed, stretching out her legs and her neck. She shook to dust herself off, and looked at Zeere. I don't think I'm hurt too bad...minus the few bumps and bruises that I will surely be feeling tomorrow. She looked at Zeere, who looked back at her guiltily. Oh, Zeere. Don't worry about me! I'm fine! she sighed and reared playfully to prove it.

Orbs looked over her body again, making sure she wasn't hurt. Audits heard her words, but she couldn't help but feel responsible. Well, should we keep going, or go somewhere else? vocals were calmer, but still had a hint of worry. She had been asked to lead her somewhere, and so far, the place has been dangerous. She doubted her leading abilities.

(( Sorry for the leave of absence. I got in a pretty bad car accident and haven't been able to get on. ))
Allegra shook again to rid herself of dust and gave Zeere a reassuring smile. I guaruntee I'm fine. It was an accident...no one's fault. Accidents happen. We should keep looking.
