In the speckled red canyons of the feral lands, careful streaks of sunlight grooved along the rocks into dark shadows. Towering walls surrounded to quiet area, only to echo it's haunting betrayal. The sloping hills gathered to the center, stopping to view it's end with crystal clear waters. Their backs were covered in tall, fresh grasses, emerging from the snow to greet the new spring. All eyes laid upon a fea, stepping out into their light and treading softly upon their lands. The snow white figure colored the ground cream with her long coat, black hairs gathered uniquely around her ears, spine, and tail. Sea struck liquid emerged from her orbs like storming rain, glancing back and forth from the shadow's of her skull still hidden within the trees. As she stepped, cautiously now, her large paws pressed against thin sheets of ice still holding onto winter. Crack She froze, ears perked, eyes alert, her body at a tense stance half into the orange light. Crack The ice fell beneath her weight, frame moving carefully into the open. Crack The fea's ears remained perked upon her elegant skull, her spine swooped back down to a tail held mid-high. Then softness underneath her paws welcomed her fully into the streaking rays.
This late born female moved swiftly, like water making it's way down stream through the rocks and daggering trenches. Her movements were elegant and carefully, nearly silent in the already eriy dawn. Hues fell against her white coat, shimmering purples and pinks against her fur. The movements awoke the canyons. A chilling breeze swept through their mouths, howling to the morning, stirring birds from their nests and small creatures from their secret dens. The water seemed louder now, as she neared it's edge to cross, as if trying to compete with nature's awakening. Splashes of the shivering liquid spat at the slender figure. It challenged her blue filled eyes as she took a smooth step onto a rock's face. With seconds her body emerged from it's calling grip, not looking back as her last paw left it's moist surface. The fea stood curiously, body alert and ears listening, looking out into the land she had never seen before.
