Asya emerged out of the trees and moved forward into the open. She looked around, and spotted a beach below. It wouldn't hurt to go look around there.. she thought to herself. She stretched her legs and raced down to the shore below. Once there, she looked around and spotted nothing. Asya was comepletely alone, as far as she knew. She was searching for someone, anyone as a matter of fact. No luck so far. She sat down, leaning against a hard rock. She sighed and rolled over onto her back, staring at the warm sun beating down upon her from above. Ais rolled onto her side, and soon fell asleep.
Asya awoke and rose to her shaky legs, she felt uneasy. She walked away from where she was laying and out onto the shore. She sat at the waters' edge and stared into the cool, blue water. She longed for company, but Ais had yet to search for that. Right about now, she was content to sit and wait by the shore for someone to stumble upon her. She stood back up and went further up the sand, shivering. Asya layed back down and layed her head on her white paws, soon closing her eyes and falling into a deep sleep.

The warm summer day was only just bearable for the roan-coated drake as he padded toward the ocean. He had been there but once before, though to no avail, and had now returned from his beloved land for a second try.
He saw her at a distance, lying on the sands as if dead. She looked almost helpless as she lay there alone and Shiranui's heart went out to her. Silly wolf, he chided himself, laughing inwardly, She's fine and you've never even met her. Get a grip before you do something stupid.
Walking over to her with a soft, nearly silent step, the wolf breathed the salty air gratefully. Although it was nothing like Yuurin here, the seaside was certainly cooler than the rest of the land and the blue-roan wolf welcomed it. He stopped for a long moment to gaze out over the sapphire ocean and take in the sights of the sunbeams dancing across the water's surface. Nowhere but the ocean did you see anything like that.
Tearing his gaze from the ocean, Shiranui returned his attention to another pretty sight. The white essa. Continuing on his way toward her, the young male took but twn strides to reach her sleeping form. Watching her for a long moment, Shiranui finally decided that he wouldn't wake her. She seemed to be sleeping so deeply and he would have hated to disturb her. Laying down beside her, his coat of a thousand grey-blue hues that blended into a pure, snowy white was separated from her own snowy furby a space of inches. Settling in to watch the coming sunset as he waited for her to awaken, Shiranui wondered if she would really want to join his pack. He hoped she would say yes; Yuurin needed a pack to properly be a packland and Shiranui needed the company. All would fall on the answer to a single question asked when a male met a female he wanted to add to his pack and however it was phrased, it always had the same meaning: "Will you join me?"

Asya had been sleeping very soundly, but she could easily awakened. She pricked her ears as she heard him lay down, and she lifted her head. Ais looked over her shoulder to the blue wolf and smiled. She didn't want ot ruin her chance to get to know him, she would be furious with herself for years to come. Aysa layed her head back down on her paws and stared at the complexity of his coat pattern, thinking it very remarkable from few wolves she'd seen. "Hello" she said, un-sure of really what to say. Ais flicked her tail lazily, waiting for his reply. She looked at him and she almost felt he belived she would turn away from him, but she wasn't even thinking of that. She would see how he was.

Only a few moments before the big male lay down, the female at his side awoke and looked up. He met her smile with one of his own, a carefree expression in his lips and bright silver eyes. She stood and stretched, giving him a moment to look over her sleek white body. She was a pretty thing, that was for sure. Each and every snow-white hair glimmered in the light of the setting sun, setting the hue-less fur into a billion tones of fire and light. His own blue-grey tones were set ablaze as well; the sea-shades gave the illusion of being the depths of a bottomless sea where no land was in sight.
A gentle breeze rolled in off the sea and her coat rippled like fire and sunrays as his own moved like the ocean tides. The two wolves were the very sun and sea they watched; Shiranui couldn't help feeling lighthearted as he watched the glimmering shades of gold, silver, white and fire on the female's luxurious white pelt.
As she stood and stretched, he rose to his paws and shook the sand from his snowy underbelly and sat back down, curling the bushy tail stereotypical of his species around his well-muscled haunches.
Her greeting was awkward, unsure. Shiranui knew it must be a little strange to wake up to a stranger laying next to you and he smiled encouragingly as he made his reply. Well met, lady snow-pelt. he said, his formal words laced with a laughter that kept it from sounding too serious. I apologize for disturbing your sleep, but I saw you lying there and I had to make a move; there aren't many like you out there. He hoped his words would flatter her and make a good impression; he wasn't usually a formal, stiff wolf (quite the contrary, actually) but he believed that to charm a female one must be genteel, so he tried his best. My name is Shiranui, by the way, Leader and Founder of the Yuurin pack. Now that we are acquainted, may I ask yours?

It truley was beautiful today. Asya's eyes sparkled as she looked at the wolf, tranfixed to the spot. The sun gleaming on them, he sure looked stunning. But yet, most brutes were stunning, she had to admit. She smirked and looked up at the pale blue sky, the birds squaking about. Maybe today would be her lucky day, she thought.
Asya lowered her head as the wind swept the sand past her. She looked back up at him as his voice filled the air, Well met, Shiranui, My name is Asya, but you can call me Ais for short. It is fine, I don't really need to sleep that much anyway, I appreciate your compliments. she smiled and raised her head, trying to make herself look more confident. She shook her fur, the furs settling down on her gleaming, lithe body. Yes, I see you made your move, she said, laughing a bit at this, What exactly do you want, my fair gentlemen? She grinned at him and licked her paw, smoothing the furs making them almost shine. Ah, what a lovely day, especially a lucky one too. She looked around her as the waves lapped on the shore, and the wind whistled about.
