Crown thrown back, black mane tossing violently, and blue eyes lit up with shrill joy as Vicutm let out a shrill whinny. Flints impacted with the ground with sheer force as he came down from his pedestal on wolf rock and rocketed to where he was supposed to be. The blue-roan slave stallion rocketed past a tight grouping of masters inspected a broken little filly, snorting with pleasure from the stale wind passing through his nares. he was at his place of work, and this was where he belonged. Vic knew it, and he truly didn't care. he loved to work, and usually never gave anyone a reason to wail on him unless he was off chasing butterflies of something along the sort, distracted from whatever he was supposed to be doing with the simplest of things.
Easily scaling a fence to a pen, which he honestly didn't understand why they were there in the first place if a small little man like him could jump them, he stood, his head held with an unbroken fire, amongst the grouping of quarter horses, simply waiting to be picked off.
//ooc: Since no one has responded to this in like...two frikken weeks I'm putting him in a thread else where too. Feel free to still claim him, cause he wont be claimed where I'm throwin' him.\\

Skylark trotted along the rows of slaves. Now he has a total of five mares and three stallions including himself. Not to mention one wolf. If he could pull in two more stallions, all of the mares could be happy. The stallion could worry about a mate for his wolf later, and perhaps she could do that herself.
NOT FINISHED!

ooc: I hope you don't mind if Pyrios dearest comes on in... Pyrios was often willing to consider just about any type of mare when selecting a slave. They were by nature weaker than a stallion, and he had found that with enough time they could often be reasoned with. He was less willing to be flexible when it came to the male slaves, and yet he saw it as important that there be someone to watch over the herd when he could not be present. The Arabian stallion moved deliberately from pen to pen, observing the occupants with a sharply calculating eye. He had already passed up a good number of the studs before spotting one that caught his interest. Pyrios stepped nearer. "You there," he said. "The blue roan. Come here a moment." When the slave had approached, he examined him critically. "What is your name, and how old are you?" Better to get the basics down before anything much else.

Victum padded over to the male who had called for him,"My name is victum and Im...6." That was the right answer, he hoped atleast, oh well iif it wasn't it was close enough. He stood looking at the stallion in front of him, he seemed strong and smart. Must be a master he thought, though it was quite obvios to most horses some thing took a little more time to click with him.

Pyrios listened critically, testing each scrap of information as it was given... spoken and unspoken. The stud did not appear to be too resentful at the least. He had answered the question and stood quietly enough. "Tell me, Victum," the crimson master began. "Have you much experience in protecting a herd?" He was looking for a guard of sorts. Someone who would help to keep things in order... but if the guard wasn't on his side, it could quickly become a mess.

Vic's orbs were fixed on the red master, "When I was younger, sir." He said dipping his head, that was one of the things he remembered out of the many thins he forgt. He thought he heard another horse approaching but didn't see anything. He smiled happily as the master asessed him, he would like protecting again, it made him popular with the ladies. The sun beat down on his blue roan coat as he waited for the masters responce.

"Well then, Victum," Pyrios began, his tone very serious. "I have an offer to make. You can accept or refuse, since I will have nothing to do with an unwilling slave in such a position as I am about to offer. I desire a stallion to stay with my herd and protect them when I am gone. He will also be responsible for preventing slaves from leaving without my consent. Before breeding to any mare, he will be expected to consult me first. It will be an idyllic life, staying in my fertile lands and keeping watch... but if this stallion should fail me in any way, the punishment will be severe." The chestnut stallion paused, watching the muscled roan closely. "I offer you this place in my herd."

Victum fixed his gaze back on the red stallion, "I'd love too, sir." he answered. Although he wouldn't breed to any mares unless he knew them and liked them and they wanted it. The whole severe punishment thing made him nervous but he could handle it. An idyllic life, as a slave would never truly happen but he'd give it a try. "If it is all right sir, I was wondering what land you came from?" He hoped he hadn't offended the stallion by asking him a question and the only way he could know was to wait.

Pyrios studied him a moment, as though judging for himself the other's sincerity. Finally, he assented. "I was born into a land known as Aseret," he replied casually, seeing no reason for concealing his past. "I have wandered long and far a number years... but I have just now claimed a land by the name of Zephyr for my own." He turned, starting off for his land. "Come along," he said over his shoulder. "We'll go there now." Without further ado, he took off at a rapid canter, expecting Victum to keep pace.
ooc: I'll make a thread in Zephyr...
