The sky is dark and gloomy. Cobolt trotts ahead of his old master. They are headed to Auction Rock. Not suprising though. He has been there many times. Passed around like a disease. The looming figure of 'the rock' is all that can be seen. Cobolt stops in his tracks. Daggers are brought down on his haunches and he starts trotting again. He does not feel the pain harshly because he has brought himself to ignoring the worst of it. His master throws a halter of chains on him. Hooking him up to the rock. Then come the shackles. They are placed around each of his hooves. He has run before and the horses of auction rock will never cease to forget it. They now lock him up tight, evertime he comes. His icey blue orbs stare out of the blank, black coat that covers his body. And he waits. Waits for a new master. Waits for a new future.

Daggers pounded on the hard ground as the brujo headed for Horse Head Field. Searching for more mares to add to his slowly growing slave empire. But a few slave stallions wouldn't hurt either, so he would keep his eyes peeled for both. Dial was raised high as he continued to go at this steady pace, always keeping an eye out for the next equine to claim. It didn't take him long to spot a stallion as he entered Horse Head Field. Walking over to the brute, he stopped. This was the one, he knew it. The next equine he would be claiming as a slave. Speak your cursing, brute. Thanatos demanded the brutes name, waiting impatiently for an answer. [/blockquote]

Bolt looked up at the master that was at the front of him. "I am Cobolt Master. You may call me what you would like though." He looked back at the dirt and at the shackles that bound his hooves together. His black coat shivered for no apparent reason, except for the unknown. He knew a lot about the word unknown. It means unsure. It means not real. It means unbeleiving. It meant a lot of things. Especially to him.

Thanatos looked at the young stallion named Cobalt. He seemed submissive, exactly what he looked for in his slave stallions. He wouldn't want them thinking they could take him on and end up fighting him. Cobalt, you're coming with me. I do not have a herd yet, but I am looking into getting one. By this he meant that he had challenged for a herd and was waiting to see if the lead would accept it or not. I am Thanatos, but you will call me either Master or Master Thanatos. He spoke in a demanding voice. It was obvious that he was not a master to be messed with. Cruel, vicious, savage, uncaring, those were just a few words to describe him. [/blockquote]

Bolt looked up at his master. Sighing, he looked back at his feet then back up at him. "Yes Master Thantos." He looked up at the sky that was folding out in front of him. He knew he would be back at Auction Rock soon enough. He had been there so many times he couldn't keep count. He was passed around like a vicious diesease that poissend every master he got. They did not die, but got sick of him and brought him back there. He knew the place very well.

Thanatos smirked slightly as Cobolt spoke. He would make a fine slave Thanatos thought. Usually Thanatos did not get slave stallions, but they did come in handy at times. Thanatos could use slave stallions to do his dirty work for him or to push around when he needed to let out some anger or frustration. Maybe even after he got a herd and had several slave mares he would male Cobolt and the mares breed in order to have some foals that were not of his blood. Having foals of your own blood is great, but its also a good idea to have some foals with no relations to you. Tell me, young Cobalt, have you ever had a master before? And have you been trained in anything specific? Thanatos questioned Cobolt, wanting to know as much about the stallion as he could before leaving Horse Head Field with his new slave. [/blockquote]

Bolt's black head looked at the ground. Icey blue eyes staring at the dust. He picked his head up and looked at the master. "I have had many masters. I have been trained in everything you would wish for me to do, Master Thanatos." He lowered his black head again and looked at his white hooves, sighing. He was in an obedient move so he would not act up. He looked up at the sky. Wondering where his mother and father were.

When Cobolt asked Thanatos nodded his dial, he was slightly confused now. Why would so many masters simply bring him back here to be auctioned off again and again? He seemed like a good and obedient slave, it didn't make any sense. Now tell me, why have you had so many masters? Why have they all brought you back here? Thanatos was determined to know as much about the stallion as possible. Also, tell me your age. A demand. It had just dawned on him that he did not know the brutes age, knowing his age was a must.

Icey blue eyes looked back up at Thanatos. Then shifted to the skies again. To the dirt. Then to his master. "Well, most got sick of me. Bored with the same old me. Mostly wanted a new slave that was different than me. Mostly bored that I did not act up and they were not able to beat me." He sighed and looked at the dirt again. And then back up at his master. "I am 5 years old, Master Thanatos." he looked back at the ground again. That would probably ruin his chances of leaving with Thanatos. That is what happened with many masters. Once they found out how old he was, they left.
