Purity looked around before following after the horse, she had to run full speed to keep up with his trot and it was making her shoulder hurt worse. When she caught up to him she slowed down a bit and picked up her hurt leg, keeping her ace matched with his though she stayed back a bit. Purity was starting to get more worried, he was taking her to an entire herd of horses who would probably be very nervous around her. She tried not to show it and for the first time in a long time she ran with her head high and her tail lifted, she hadn't run like this since she was a misbehaving puppy.
As they reached the land of Canaa, they were beautiful. The land was green and open with a few trees here and there. Purity was looking off to her side at the meadow, when she turned her attention forward she saw an extraordinary looking water fall the center of the land she slowed down nearly to a stop and looked up at the beautiful sight. She wasn't really sure what to do now that she was here so she slowed down to wait for the stallion. |

Darki was drinking out of the cool blue water of the waterfall when she spotted a wolf coming with Skylark. 'This must be the protecter he was talking about.' Darki thought to herself. Grinning, she galloped over to the wolf. Greeting her. "Hello there. I am Darki. Who might you be?" This was the first protector of the herd and she intended to make friends right off the bat instead of greeting her later.

Purity came to a complete stop in the lush green land. "My name is Purity,nice to meet you ma'am." She said dipping her head respectfully to the horse. Purity was the only wolf in a heard of horses and understood why Skylark had felt so uncomfortable earlier, not being with your own kind felt odd to say the least. This mare was nicer than she expected, she was glad that she didn't feel like such an outsider, and that at least one horse accepted her.

Skylark drank from the small stream that ran by. Today had been a crazy day. Exhaustion tugged at his long and well-muscled limbs. His liquid brown eyes met Darki's. She was a pretty mare, he noted. "Ah, Darki. I see you met our new friend Purity." A little smile appeared on his mug. The stallion waded into the water, allowing the cool river water to flow over his long limbs. His muscles tightened but it felt so good. He could see the dirt flowing off of his sweaty skin. The chestnut stallion flopped over on his side so that the water could coat his whole body. In a split second he was standing up again, shaking the water off of his reddish coat.

"So what do I do as a protector here, sir?" She asked curiously, she would have to get used to looking up living in a herd of horses. She watched as Skylark stepped down into the water, she still felt awkward and wasn't going to to jump in but she walked up to the edge to take in a sip of the cold blue liquid. Purity walked back over to were she was standing and sat down an a reply.

"Please just call me Darki, Purity." Smiling, she trotted into the water with Skylark, and bathed her sweaty skin. It was a very hot day and she could almost gaurentee that any horse or wolf would be sweating dirt today. Grinning, she splashed a wave of water at Skylark, covering him in wet even though he had just dried himself. She also trotted out of the water and sprayed sprinkles from her white and black coat.

Purity nodded as she said just to call her Darki, she had been a slave her entire life and it would take time for her to get used to not saying ma'am and sir. The rays beat down on her as she sat there, and the water looked very inviting. Before she realized what happened Purity was covered in sprinkles from Darki shaking off. She wanted to wait for a responce from Skylark before she went juming in to the water. She licked the fur on her shoulder as waited.

Skylark shook his head again, sending more water into the air. Purity's words reached his harks. She must be thinking that it was a challenging task or job of some sort. But no, it is merely a little excuse to save a wolf from slavery. Skylark responded calmly, "Just stay near pregnant or injured horses and make sure that any wolves who might attack, won't attack. Currently all of us are in good health so it should be fine. Just have a good time." He smiled warmly.

Purity nodded, then stood up and walked into the shallow part of the water and bent down to wet her fur. The cold water peirced her pelt and cooled her body down quite a bit, when she walked out the water it clung to thick fur. When she got out the water she shook of and relaesed the water from her fur, it made her feel better and she stood with a smile on her face. "How many horses live here?" she asked curiously, so far she had only seen two and didn't think that was the whole herd.

Atom trotted onto the territory. A stallion, Skylark had brought him here to be a protector. Spotting another wolf, he trotted over. "Hello!" he greeted her. "Who are you? I am Atom." He grinned at her. She was pretty. That did not matter though. Her attitude mattered. Though, the reason that she was here told him she had a good attidude. Not many were privlaged enough to be a protector. He felt very proud.

Skylark tilted his head, trying to remember. He counted them over. Darki, Pitts, Kennedy, Lunar, Rasta, Toboe, and Xander. That makes seven, or eight including himself. The stallion smiled to himself. And two wolves. A full group of ten. And rapidly growing, too. He replied to Purity, "Eight horses if you include me. And ten with you two. I have found a nice little friend for you so you won't be lonely. Atom." The stallion shifted positions, from resting one leg to the other.

"Greetings, I'm purity. she said smiling. Purity was glad she was no longer the only wolf here, and this new wolf was very handsome. "Very nice to meet you atom." she said dipping her head, atom was a nice name. He was a very handome wolf and he had a very nice air about him, she sat down grinning. The water was still clinging to her pelt and the breeze was keeping her cool in the baking wheather.

"Hello Purity. Why so formal? It is only I." Atom looked around at Purity and Skylark. Purity was such a pretty name. So... pure. (lol) It was soft in a way. Inviting. She seemed nice enough. He grinned back. He looked up at the sun. It was a warm day. His gaze then shifted back to Purity. The weather was perfect. The day was perfect. In his book, everything was perfect. It was strange to him though. Things had not been perfect for a very long time.

"I'm not being formal silly, just polite." she said jokingly with the new wolf. She lyed down in the warm sun near the bank of the pond, stretching out in the warmth of the beautiful day. She couldn't be more thankful to Skylark that he had brought her here, and brough atom here, she was already enjoying his company. She lifted her head and gave skylark a look that she hoped said everything that she couldn't put into words.

"Alright then. Polite." He looked at her. She was amazing. Pretty. Smart. Kind. Everything he had ever wanted in a friend. He lay beside her. He was very thankful to Skylark. He had brought him and this fae here. It was wonderful. This terr was beautiful. More than he could ever ask for. He looked at him. A look that only another dude could understand. A 'thank you', but different. More like 'thanks for everything dude'.
