The chestnut stallion nodded to Darki's words. "Good. You are the first official fighter for Canaa! Congratulations." His tail swished, sending a fly that had landed on his reddish coat flying away.
Skylark simply nodded his head, signaling Lunar's permission. "You don't even have to ask, I'm not in control. We are all the same rank here. Even if you are Darki's apprentice, she has no power over anything you do." A small smile crept across his maw.

Darki's dark black mane swished in the soft wind. She turned to the side of Skylark as he talked to young Lunar. "That is right, Lunar. I never did have control over you. You do as you want. You could have ran, or you could have stayed. Ever since we left Auction Rock, you were free." Darki had not told Lunar this, though it was true. Her orbs pointed twords the fluffy new clouds that were slowly moving along their way to visit the sun.

Lunar looked up at the mare and stallion. "Really" She said her eyes sparkling. "Thank you Skylark and you too Darki" She got up and trotted up to Darki and nudged her neck in thanks she also did the same with Skylark. Turning the buckskin paint broke into a slow gallop and went to explore the lands. She looked at the trees and the sky she paused at the pond to get a drink of water.

Skylark nodded, watching the small fae run free. This left Darki and Skylark alone. The bright sun was beginning to reach the top of the sky; the air warm and bright. A bit of humidity entered the air. It was the start of summer, a glorious time indeed. A time of foals and running free. He couldn't wait until more residents would come to Canaa. The stallion looked at Darki and spoke. "So, what led you to Canaa?" He hated silence, and it was rude to simply ignore a horse's prescense.

Darki watched in a graceful silence as young Lunar galloped off to explore this beautiful land called Canaa. A beam of light flicked onto her beautiful pelt. It really made it shine. "I came to Canaa because of the beauty of everything here. I have heard much about it and decided to test my luck." She threw her head into the air and looked at her beautiful surroundings. It was very beautiful and peaceful here. She disliked silence at times but also liked it occasionaly.

Lunar continued to gallop through the lands. Soon though she wanted the company of the others. Going back she marked where she had gone. "Hi Darki Hi Skylark" She said cheerfully. Coming in at a bouncy trot she stopped to look around excitadly at the two. Pausing for a moment she walked up to Skylark. Moving her muzzle slowly she touched his shoulder. "Tag your it" She said while bouncing back and waiting for Skylark to do something.

Skylark nodded to Darki's words. They were so true. Canaa was a beautiful land, and every horse would long to live there once word of it's glory spread. These two mares were the first of perhaps many that would wander into Canaa in hope of winning freedom for themselves and others.
Suddenly, he felt a bump on his shoulder. He wheeled around and spotted the same young filly who had left a few minutes before. Lunar's words rang in his ears for a few seconds before he reacted. The stallion lunged in her direction, normally a vicious attack but now only a playful move. Teeth were not bared nor harks pinned. Skylark was probably the world's most gentle stallion, having never drawn blood from any other horse's in his long lifespan of nine years.

Darki noted that Lunar had tagged Skylark and quickly darted away from him to be sure that she would not be tagged. After all, it was not as great to be it then it was to be running, so she stood by the trees watching the two and making sure she was out of distance to be easily tagged. It was safer by the trees and you could run at any given time if someone approached.
