So here we are, faced with what I see as three options for Sobibor. I wanted to show you guys the options and get a good vote before I go ahead and spend hours of my time to give this site another zap from the AED.

RELOCATE:
-Make a new site and redo the plot & advertise it as a whole new shabang
-None of the old mods stay over, all must work for it again (simply because I am tired of having to work so hard to get anything done)
-Basically, start over anew.
-Keep some ideas, come up with some new ones

HOLD ON:
-Keep things the same and wait until life comes back
-Don't get rid of inactive members, wait til the come back
-etc, etc

CUT OFF EXCESS:
-Major activity check
-Renew mods
-Run some fun activites and MAYBE yall will respond (though lately nobody has, it is quite disappointing)

So, which do you choose? Personally I prefer the first one. Don't worry about the workload, I think in the long run some of them will be worth it. Comments are welcome!

Lugu, if you do relocate I will be able to help over Christmas Break to rebuild the site if you need it. The reason I have not been on sadly is because this is my first year of high school and I have been completely bombed with homework and such, though I will try to make an effort to be on more, but I cannot garantee. Ugg, I feel like such a loser for not being on! lol I'll go post now....haha

I have voted for relocate as I believe the time for waiting to see has long since passed. There is hardly any activity on this site and I think it needs to start again and try to encourage new members.

I say we relocate. I understand that it'll be more work but I agree with kimashka - you've all hung on and waited for everyone to come back and new people to arrive for long enough.

I think the site probably needs to be refreshed in a whole new format with a brand new plot and all that. Sadly the fact of the matter is that people prefer something that's shiny and new - it's the reason why all those horse RPGs that are just rehashings of the old cliché of 'dark vs neutral vs light' never really get off the ground. Or at least, not the ones I have experience with. It's not a new idea, simply put. Sobibor's success lies in that it's the only slavery RPG I've been involved with therefore it's somewhat shiny and new.

However. It has been around for a fair while now and as such people lose interest, no matter how awesome the site. So, if we're going to keep it up and running, we need to come up with something shiny and new. A new idea that very few people have tried, possibly without success.

Lugu I'm very impressed that you've stuck by Sobibor so solidly - yes you have been absent a little bit, but don't we all need a break sometimes? You've done well to keep the site up and running. Sadly all your best ideas haven't brought much activity to the site, which says to me that it's probably time to move on and do something completely new.

Goodness. This is a horribly tough decision for me. :/

On one hand, I do want to relocate because it's what the sit needs in a sense. A fresh start, a new beginning, you know? I think it would help but yet this ol' place does hold many memories, both good and bad as we all know. Hmm. There are both good and bad to switching and yet, you know me; I think we need to move on. Doing so, however, can kill a site. I can only give my best I suppose and hope it works. Because I actually really love this old place. <33 So, I say re-start. I would like to know, however; what will happen to the current packs? I was also just starting the Sobi map the other day soooo, if that's going to change I think I'll wait on finishing it, haha.

I'll be here a lot more now, as Lugu knows, so it should be interesting. xD But I've got all of winter break to help you out, should you want another hand. Support.

Also I just want to say I'm UBER UBER sorry for not being on and being the active member I used to be. I've had a lot of drama in my life lately, and I've been extremely busy. I'm taking college courses, and I got suddenly randomnly popular so ya.....very busy. I promise though that I will try and get on more, and I volunteer to help as much as I can with the relocating. I'm going to be very busy over Christmas break though, so idk how much I can help. I still love ya all and miss ya.</sup>

I reluctantly vote for relocating. It usually kills a site, but I'm hoping with enough work that won't happen to Sobi. My horse has been taking most of my time, I really am sorry for not logging on. I should be on more now, though, and would be willing to help bunches with this. :3 I think a new, fresh site will really help this place.

I voted for relocating, and I'm not going to go back over all the reasons I chose it (since half a school year ago I suggested something similar). I'm glad something's finally getting done. Goo, you know you can chuck anything from coding Java for this place to banners to whatever technical at me and I will do it. I am sorry that I haven't be around lately, but to be honest, I think that something drastic will have to happen for me to feel like rping here is really enjoyable (I mostly just stick around for the company of you awesome people) and beneficial to my writing skills. You just can't get those character dynamics with how it's currently set up.

So yeah.

If you remembered my suggestrant with the introducing humans, then you can understand why I voted for this. xP Lol Funny how we are all giving our reasons for voting.
