Some Honesty

Well, I really have thought about Sobibor a lot these past few days. Try as I might, (and I really did!) this place never seems to jump to life. This is frustrating, confusing, boring, a lot of work, and rather fruitless as well.

Because of this, I am choosing to close Sobibor. I won't put it in maintenance mode. No profiles will be accepted or declined anymore, I won't be checking them. If you genuinely find this site interesting, I apologize. I know for a fact that eclipse is attempting to make a feeder site that some of you might be interested in. Go ahead and PM her if you're interested in helping. :]

I should make this longer, but there isn't much to say. It has been a lot of fun while it lasted but I'm too busy and too frustrated at trying to breathe life into this place. Some people offer help (as they always do) but I can't hold the trust in place because nothing ever ends up getting done around here.

If you want to contact me, just send me a PM so I can get you my AIM username. I am usually online. The Cbox will always be open. I will certainly continue to check it regularly. Farewell Sobibor, rest in peace.

I am genuinly sad to hear that the site will be faded out. But if we are being honest, I'm not suprised. There just doesn't seem to be the members here to keep the site active. I know, I myself have not posted in such a long time for I have no muse to be waiting around for literally months before someone replies. To be fair, I loved this site when I first joined, but I saw it get gradually quieter and now it seems that there is only one post every few weeks. It is a shame as I think this site had potential, but you can't force people to post or join can we?

So I am very sorry to hear that you have decided this Lugu, and I wish you all the best in the future. Maybe one day you'll feel more able to start another site XD

I feel the same way. The whole site just fell apart. One little RP at a time, someone would get frustrated and stop posting. I didn't exactly help. I myself grew so tired of this furstration that I stopped RPing here as well and took on a solely administrative position.

Also, I am planning on starting a new RP. However, it will not be anything like sobibor. I'll post a link when it is more finished so yall can see what I'm up to.

I loved the BB/LB program. It really helped me get started. I have never felt accepted by any other site like I do here. It pains my heart that this site is closing it really does. BB and I were prob. about the closest pair of Big Buddies/Little Buddies there were, although I may be wrong... Cookies are a favorite here and always will be.

On a brighter note..Since I am so sad that this site has closed I also made a sight similar to it like Eclipse. Just go to manifestdestinyrpg.proboards.com It is not finished yet but it is close.

lol, I can remember when I first got on here, I sucked at roleplaying! It seems so long ago and I miss the good ole days xD, I really hoped I wouldn't see this day but I guess Sobi has run it's course. i wish I had been on more and helped more, I kinda tried with the new plot but I guess it never took off. Anyways, I had a great time with sobi and all the peeps who joined it!
