Heh. Soo, if any of you have noticed, my character, Baroque has claimed Sans Couer, now known as Verratos. He's got a few wolves there already just from Keen, but as you all know, Image likes expansive plots. xDD So here we go.
This one is a bit more loose lipped than most of my plots. Baroque is a rather. . .driven male you might say. He knows only the best survive and he takes advantage of every opportunity he gets. I was thinking he could round up a bunch of wolves, male and female, and then proceed for domination in the gene pool. He would mate with about half the females and then hold competitions between males for the rest. If he found a male unworthy to live he would run the gauntlet and basically just play with his pack in this cruel way.
This pack would be different than most in the idea that the wolves don't mind what goes on; it's simply just a way of life for them. They don't consider thoughts of escape, or if the do it's a battle inside themselves. It's just accepted that this is the way their pack runs.
Once the pups were born I was thinking another smaller plot could unfold; who would take over once Baroque dies. Because I do intend to kill him off, after of course, he leaves his "mark" on the wolven race. I think the social effects and how personalities dominate would be very interesting especially between Baroque's kin or between Baroque's "superior" kin and the other males' kin. Interesting.
