Full Name: Freyja
Nickname: Francie
Breed: Percheron x Belgian Draft
Height: 18 hands
Gender: Female
Appearance: Francie is strong, heavy, and powerful. She has a deep barrel chest characterist of her ancestors, and her legs are strong and powerful, solidly rooted to ground in a way reminiscent of pillars. Her coat is a light sorrel. She has the distinctive foot fur of a Belgian, and a white blaze on her forehead. Her mane is short and white, as is her tail, and she likes it that way. Without a mane to distract people from her rippling muscles, she is much more dramatic and startling.
Age: 5 years
Personality: Freyja is dominating and has a powerful superiority complex. It is hard for her to believe that anyone is better than her at anything - be it races, leadership, slave training, anything at all. But Francie has a kind side as well. She likes to help horses, and her slaves are treated better than most other herd's. She often goes to the rescue of a particuarly abused slave, and her followers are the best-protected in the land. She is quick to jump to the rescue if anyone threatens what is hers. But don't think her slaves get off easy, no. In exchange for fewer beatings and kinder words, her slaves can be expected to work twice as hard as others.
When you come in close contact with Francie, you get a feeling of awe. She carries herself with a remarkable majesty, and views herself as royal. This rubs off onto anyone around her, and she commands a sense of loyalty unlike any other master's. her slaves want to do what they can for her. Freyja is a true diplomat, and can work out issues between neighboring herds with ease. She is easy to befriend, but she trusts no one.
History: Freyja does not know her parents, and never will. She was raised by her grandmother along side her young half-aunt Helle after most her family's herd had been taken over by another master. Her grandmother was a mere seven years when she died, leaving Freyja and her daughter alone and scared. Freyja was only a yearling at the time. While she and Helle bonded together and did the best they could to survive alone, Helle soon died of starvation. Freyja was heartbroken, and nearly died herself. Francie soon found her inner strength, and rose to a position of dominance over the other horses. Now, at five, she is looking to build up her herd and become a prominent leader.
