Mercy Mercy had just stormed off from her family. She spent all day making plans on how they could torture some slaves. But when her father came to the den, her older sister took all the credit. Once again that idiot is put on a pedestal above me! The female wolf was wandering through Sobibor enraged. Mercy did not care where she was going, who was around her, or what anyone thought about how she acted. Her good for nothing sister needed to go, for some reason her father favored her. But Mercy knew all too well she was the better daughter. She ran into another wolf that sadly had ran into her path. The fae snarled and then spat at the wolf. "Watch where you're going idiot!" Mercy walked past them and slashed their shoulder as she made her way in front of them. She let out a laugh as the wolf gave her a confused look and ran off in the other direction. Whimp. Couldn't even take a little scratch from a girl. Mercy walked with a smug smile on her face. At least some one would know she was more vicious than her sister. Mercy finally realized how long she had been walking and looked up to see where she was. Looking around she saw lovers and feas screaming. They were being force breed and attempting to flee. There was only one place in Sobibor like this and it was the love and lust fields. She shrugged it off and continued on. Mercy was nearly sure no one would mess with her and if they did she could fend for herself. Besides other females' screams of terror made her feel happy. It was quite funny to her actually. They were all so stupid to come here all alone and defenseless. Just then Mercy heard a brute speaking, and then she realized that he was talking to her. "Hey baby come here, such a young girl shouldn't be here by herself." She turned around to see a pure grey wolf about double her size smirking at her. She scrunched up her nose and stiffened her body. "I'm fine stupid, so get lost." Mercy spun around and started walking away. But within seconds he was running and was in front of her. "Not so fast girly I came here for some....fun and I plan to leave with a slave."Mercy growled and bashed his face and started to run to his left. She wasn't thinking it out but she ran right in front of his face. He snarled in pain and jumped forward and and caught a hold of her scruff. If she tried to resist to violently he could quite possibly break her neck. "Stop you idiotic wolf! Don't you know who I am! My parents will kill you!" Mercy tried to pull away but his teeth were cutting into her neck and little drops of blood trickled down her throat. The brute laughed and mounted her. Mercy shot forward, out from under him. He fell down and got all dirty from the mud on the ground. She kicked a rock at him and danced around him singing, "I told you not to mess with me. But you did because you're a stupid wolf. Ha ha ha ha ha!" He was even more enraged now and jumped up and started running after Mercy. He chased her all around the Love and Lust Fields until she started getting tired. She pushed on, but Mercy was not sure how much longer she could run and he was closing in.

LEOPARD'S ROAR.
If TODAY was your last day, And tomorrow was TOO late, Could you SAY goodbye to yesterday? The hilltop was peaceful and cool in the early morning. Leo sat upon the grassy hill thinking, all by himself as was the usual. Ever since his parent's had died he'd been alone. Hell, he'd been alone when his parent's were alive! Angrily, the large wolfdog stood and started pacing the hill his black claws tearing up the soft grass making a path of destruction behind him. The dew from the ground wet Leo's paws the black color darkening an unnoticeable amount. He glared at the dewy surface. Dew was so beautiful, yet so treacherous. Much like Leo himself. His multi-hued coat often attracted attention. He was so obviously not a full wolf. The only thing he'd inherited from his mother, Willow a grey wolf, was her long fur and her wolflike ears. It gave him a wolfish appearance, but his coat betrayed him. His coat was from his father, Cajun a dog. And that's what all wolves saw him as, some dog to beat and push around. But Leo was much to strong for that, for he had inherited his mother's wolflike strength, stamina, and thirst for the hunt. In fact, Leo was a very skilled hunter, he needed no one but himself to hunt unlike wolves who hunted in packs. That was what made them weak, their inability to survive alone. That was what had killed his mother and his father along with her.
Leo sighed and sat down gently on the torn up ground. His childhood had been hard, but he still remembered the good times: playing with his father, who had always been a pup at heart, learning to hunt with his mother, hearing his father's stories of knights in shining armor. Sure, he'd been lonely sometimes, but if he could choose Leo would never pick another set of parents. He had loved his.
The wolfdog shook his head, refusing to let tears come to his eyes. With a heavy sigh he stood to his feet, forced a smile on his face, and started down the hill at a leisurely place. He found himself in a gorgeous green meadow. It smelled delightful which he guessed was from the many rosebushes and various other flowers. Leo stood admiring the beauty for a time, but his reverie was interrupted by a female's cry. Now when his parents died the principles his father had taught him such as honesty, integrity, and such quickly fell by the wayside. Leo became a cold-hearted liar, thief, and even in certain situations murderer. But if there was one thing Cajun had taught him that stuck was honor, and he knew that this damsel's honor was being taken in the worst possible way. The wolfdog ran to where he heard the cries and got there in time to hear a conversation that made him see red.
"Hey baby come here, such a young girl shouldn't be here by herself."
""I'm fine stupid, so get lost."
Leo had to smile at her fire. She looked really young, and he couldn't help but wonder what his sister would have looked like at her age.
"Not so fast girly I came here for some....fun and I plan to leave with a slave."
Leo snarled and went to go rip this bastard's throat out when he saw something that almost made him laugh instead. That fiery little wolfess smacked the other wolf smack in the face and then dodged to her left. Somehow the wolf saw her even though it looked like she might have cut his eye bad enough to scar. He grabbed her by the scruff of a neck just like a bad behaved little pup and shook her. And yet she continued to scream,
"Stop you idiotic wolf! Don't you know who I am! My parents will kill you!"
Leo opened his eyes wide in surprise. Could this be some infamous couples, child? Leo was not just enraged now, he was also curious. Kind of odd feelings to have at the same time, but hey it's Leo, not a normal guy. By now the wolfdog's feet and rage had involuntarily carried him out from the cover of the rosebushes, he hadn't even felt the thorns. Leo couldn't help but think how a rose bush kind of reminded him of this little wolfess. Quiet and unassuming on the outside, but sharp as a thorn on the inside. It was just a passing thought, but Leo still couldn't help thinking of this girlie as a Rose, or maybe a Thorn would be better. He snorted, amusing himself.
Leo turned his attention back to the scene before him and he about went into a killing frenzy at what he saw. That no account excuse of a wolf was trying to mount this tiny little wolfess! That was the worst possible way to take a female's honor! Leo lunged for the wolf intent on tearing him limb from limb, when once again he was stopped in his tracks by the little Thorn. She actually shot out from under him, which caused the brute to fall flat on his face. And then instead of running she had the gall to kick rocks at him, dance around, and gloat at him. Leo about cracked right then, this situiation was giving him some mixed up emotions. Anger, humor, curiosity, RAGE, humor...Thorn's words pulled him back to the scene,
"I told you not to mess with me. But you did because you're a stupid wolf. Ha ha ha ha ha!"
Leo blinked at her choice of words. Yes, she might even be a bit younger than he had originally assumed. Then the two were off, the little female being chased by the gigantic male. Leo, taken by surprise yet again, determined to stop this once more. Immediately he took after them, but then he ran into the trees and took a couple of shortcuts easily following the scent of the two.
He pulled out ahead of them and veered back into the meadow, which had now turned into a long strip of dirt surrounded by a solid barrier of tree's and pointy, thorny rosebushes. Leo saw little Rose..Thorn run past him. He could see she was tiring, plus she was headed right to an impenetrable wall of thorns. There was absolutely no way out except for the way she came. Which was now blocked by the monstrous beast that wanted to dishonor her in the worst possible way. The brute chuckled and took his sweet time walking toward the female trapped inside this dirt path.
"Come out sweet thing, there's no place to run or hide. If you're nice then I won't tear your hide on these lovely rosebushes. What do you say, my little treat?"
And at that moment Leo stepped from the tree's and stood in front of the beast who was quite a bit larger than him. Leo smiled a wicked grin. He had thought about saying something at this moment, but it didn't seem like good timing, anything he might say would sound cheesy. So instead he lunged at the wolf and grabbed him by the throat. His deadly teeth sunk in deep barely missing the vital arteries. Had Leo missed? No, this wolfdog was a lethal killer, he just wanted this good for nothing bastard to suffer.
The beast snarled and batted at the dog hanging from his neck, but he was too late Leo was already gone. He was almost lightning quick which was mostly why he was so dangerous. The large wolf snarled and said something unintelligible, sounded something like, I'll take care of this runt and get to you in a moment sweetheart, but then Leo pounced again this time shoving the brute into a particularly thorny bush. The male howled in pain, and got up. His side looked like a porcupine had used it for target practice. He roared with pain and lunged clumsily at Leo, but the wolfdog gracefully danced out of his way. The male tripped not expecting his target to move so fast, his momentum causing him to stumble and fall flat on his muzzle. Leo wasted no time and was on the brute's back in an instant tearing at him with his black claws with a fierce abandon. He tore out a huge chunk in the wolf's shoulders, and then bit the wolf's back leg.
He jumped off of him, and circled to face the brute straight in the face. The wolf was dazed from his fall and the blood loss from his injuries. If not cared for they would be life-threatening, but if Leo left him alone he might just survive. Instead of finishing the wolf off however, Leo backed away and looked toward Thorn. He spoke, his voice not sounding as if he'd just been in a major battle,
"Would you like to finish him?"

Mercy The fae's light brown coat was now becoming a lot darker due to the sweat that was pouring off her body. She was running so much faster and farther than she had ever ran before. But let it be known that it didn't mean she wasn't exhausted. Right now adrenaline was her best friend and it kept her moving. But what did stop her was a giant rose bush, well more like a field. She skidded to a stop and left nail marks in the dirt because she stopped so fast. Her eyes scanned the roses looking for some where any where to escape into. She inched her way to wards the thorns about to continue in to find a way she could live. Just then she heard a loud yelp. Mercy spun around and looked, and she was quite taken back by what she saw. A dog, a real life dog was killing a wolf. The fae shot forward and tried to flee the scene but she couldn't get around the brutes. She shifted her weight back and forth unsure what she should do. But it seemed to her, that her only choice was to wait and then flee. Mercy backed up, away from the fight. Sadly she wasn't paying attention and her rump got thorns stuck in her skin. The young wolf let out a small cry because she was caught off guard. But her attention was quickly redirected to the fight. She cringed as she watched the dog kill the wolf. Mercy knew she could take on the wolf. But now she wasn't too sure about the dog. He was very brave, yet Mercy did not understand why he was helping her. It did not make sense in her logic because if some one does you a favor, they want something in return. Her ears perked up as the dog spoke. "Um... sure I guess." At least she could tell her father about this and maybe for once he would be proud of her! Mercy walked over, grabbed the wolf's neck, and bit down as hard as she could. His legs lashed out as he tried to walk but he couldn't get up. Mercy just stared and when he stopped moving she let go. Blood was dripping down her muzzle and she tried to lick it off. But it was harder than it sounded. Mercy walked over to the dead brute and wiped the blood off on his fur. Then she quickly walked over to the brute. "Er..um... thanks I suppose." Mercy nodded and sat there. She wasn't quite sure what to say. "My mom is Abbadon and my father Erebrus. If I may know your name, I will tell them how you helped me." The fae knew that it would probably mean nothing. For all she knew her parents might have sent that wolf. But then again maybe they didn't, she really would never be able to find out. Mercy looked at the dog once more. "Now if you don't mind I'll just be going." She started to walk forward then stopped. She realized she might have killed him so he could breed her. Mercy tucked her tail in between her legs. The thorns shot pain through her legs which made it hard to walk. She cringed and walked forward and quickly made her way around Leo. Mercy doubted she would go back home so the question on her mind was where she was going. But more importantly if she could make it our of the fields alive.

LEOPARD'S ROAR.
If TODAY was your last day, And tomorrow was TOO late, Could you SAY goodbye to yesterday? Leo watched heartlessly as the evil wolf died underneath the deadly grip of the young wolfess. He nodded his silent approval at her lack of hesitation, and her ruthlessness. He felt in her a bit of a kindred spirit in that they both seemed to be unrelenting, unforgiving. After the wolf had died the young female turned to him and spoke,
""Er..um... thanks I suppose."
"You're welcome." he answered simply.
"My mom is Abaddon and my father Erebrus. If I may know your name, I will tell them how you helped me."
Leo tilted his head and wrinkled his brow in confusion. He had never heard of these two wolves, but something about their name made Leo a bit apprehensive, especially the name Abaddon.
"My name is Leo. "
He said it without ceremony or unnecessary words, and he kept up his intense gaze upon Thorn's face. She looked a bit uncomfortable and edgy which was, of course, totally understandable after almost being taken against her will. Leo's hair bristled up at just the thought of what might have happened to her if he hadn't come along.
Then the wolfdog was interrupted in his thinking as the female spoke once more,
"Now if you don't mind I'll just be going."
He watched as she started to walk away, and that's when he noticed she was limping and had her tail tucked under her securely. It didn't dawn on Leo what the significance of the tail tucking was, for he only noticed she was injured! He spoke his voice laced with concern,
"You're hurt? And you are still far within the boundaries of Love and Lust. If you wish I can escort you out of here. I wouldn't want your hard work and mine to be wasted by you getting caught by some other bastard who thinks they can steal honor."
And with that he walked toward her and started for the entrance. Once he reached it the light of the afternoon sun made Leo's coat shine, much like a very colorful knight in armor. Leo would have smiled if he could have seen how he looked. His thoughts however were only for Rose. He then realized he didn't know her real name so he turned back and smiled at her,
"I don't believe you mentioned your name?"
He said in a way of a question. He tilted his head and smiled sadly at her,
"Follow me if you wish. I know somewhere where we can get those thorns out. Unless you can't handle the pain walking out of here."
He said it in a way that could in no way be construed as him thinking of her as weak or anything. It was totally out of concern for her well-being. You see, Leo no longer thought of this female as a stranger. She was now the sister he never knew. And Leo would do anything for her now.
