Despite Gypsy's cruel nature, she went up to him and said "It was not your fault. If your father were to come back, then you would be dead too. Your mother still feels for you, and she will always." The words swelled up and she felt like spitting them out. It disgusted her, but he was vulnerable. She couldn't let him stay that way, or else he would be useless. They had traveled a long way, and she did not want to travel back to auction him again.

Dust dispised the way that Gypsy was talking to him. She was trying to gain his trust, only to break it into a million pieces only go gain it then break it. He had seen this many times. They make it, then break it. He felt like running, but he really did not care about anything. He just kept walking and thinking. 'When would they get there? It was taking a long time. Well, where is there?' Dust did not know where they were going, and was not about to stop and ask.

"Enough chit chat. I am going to fight for the land of the Eerie Caverns. You see, I have no herd of my own and no land to claim it with." Gypsy said, as if reading his mind about the time. They HAD been walking for a while now. She probably should have claimed land before she got her slave. Oh well, it doesn't matter now. The stallion was probably large and muscular. Most likely, she would lose the fight. Still she would fight 'til she died. That land was what she wanted, and if she couldn't have it she would try to gain the others before finally giving up.

"Alright, but have you opposed the challange already, M'lady." Dust did not care that she did not have land. He would help fight, and when they lost, he would become someone else's slave and probably get to fight again, and be passed around like a diesease all over the place. He despised what had happened to him, but he did not really care if it happened again. He did not care if he was a slave forever. He just did not care.

"No, first we are going to join the herd. When we are ready, we will fight for the land." Gypsy answered. It was not too important that she had land, but it gave her a larger sense of power. She loved power. Again, that was too nice of a statement. What was with her today? She wasn't speaking normally, like she would to a normal slave. Was she becoming soft? The thought sent chills up her spine.

"Alright then, M'lady. What herd are we to join?" Dust then knew that he would deffinatly be passed around again and again. They would most likely lose because of all the members of the herd, against them. He disliked the feeling of that, but it was his destiny and he could not overthrow it. Unless that is, someone freed him. That was not likely though. It rarely happened to slaves and he knew that a stallion like him would never get that chance.

A smile opposed on Gypsy Dream's face. "Nevermind about the Eerie Caverns. Fenregard has only one lead, Hero. He will lose without a doubt against us." Her eyes narrowed and she was delighted. She broke into a canter. Why had she not thought of this before? Whatever the reason, she was now going to own land. That is, if they win. She still had no doubt that they wouldn't. There was only one stallion in Fenregard and she had herself, strong and full of agility, and Dust, healthy and muscular. He looked well skilled in battle.

"Yes. We should be to win. Especially since he has no herd to back him up." He bowed his head. They would win. He knew it. It was not possible for them not to win. He had been trained by his mother how to fight and he knew that there was no beating him. He did not like to fight though. It was one of those things that made him want to puke, but this was a special occasion and he would fight to the death.

"Of course you will only be allowed to fight if he has another on his side. It would be nice to fight alongside you, but that won't happen for this occasion. I have to be fair... I guess." Gypsy felt like puking those words out. They all seeped into her veins like a painful hoof digging deep inside. She shuddered, but continued on. "We should be there very soon. We have made great time." She told him quietly.
