Allegra

Allegra shook her long, beigey banner off of her strong neck and stared at the bright blue sky. She lazily flicked her tail at a fly that had landed on her haunches and watched it buzz off. She was searching for a herd. She felt excitement at finally being independent, and broke into a run that she herself could hardly control. Her long, straight pistons worked and her daggers dug into the earth as she pushed herself to go a faster pace. She couldn't help herself, and let out a playful jumping buck. As she landed, she snorted, bucked once more and slowed to a trot. She thought she had heard something. Her brown orbs glanced around her and her auds perked and twisted to locate the sound.

You would have to be deaf not to hear Zeere's approach. Zeere had heard the mare's playfulness, her bucking and snorting, and she could hear her running across the beach. As soon as her audits had heard the sound of running hooves, Zeere had run like her life depended on it. Ofcourse it didn't, but she just loved to run. The thoroughbred in her gave her the power to run long distances quick, long pillars eating up the ground as it approached her. Flag was raised as high as her crania, nares flared, breathing in lung fulls of air. Audits perked, and she let a whicker part her maw. Sand was flung up behind her as she ran to the mare.

Someone to play with! How fun it would be, and how bored she had been. She wanted to scream from her boredness, but hopefully, the mare would take her offer to do something. Perhaps explore, or something, she loved playing truth or dare type things. But sometimes, when she was dared to do stuff, she didn't quite understand why everyone would laugh at her once she did it. She just assumed it was funny and moved on, but they didn't. But oh well. Her blondeness didn't falter her, or lower her ego.

Dappled coat was splattered with sand as she came up to the mare. She threw in a playful buck, then slid nearly on her haunches to stop to avoid hitting her. Hello. I'm Zeere. And who are you?

Allegra whinnied when she realized that there HAD been another horse. And it was a mare, too! She reared playfully and shook her fringe out of her eyes. When the mare inquired her name, she playfully said,"My calling is Allegra, and I'm very glad to meet you, Zeere."

[horselady]

Zeere reared up with her in the excitement. When she landed, audits were perked to the max, optics bright, ready to play. Nice to meet you too, Allegra. Vocals were nice, but full of energy they were. What do you want to do, Allegra? She danced in the sand, daggers leaving fancy prints behind her. She spun and bucked, so excited to see another living being. She suddenly stopped, nares flared, audits perked once more. Optics stared at her. She had an idea, but she waited for Allegra to say something first.

Allegra cocked her head and snorted like a foal at the mare.
Well, I'm not very good at picking games. And I'm not good at creating them either. Any ideas?
Allegra tossed her beige fringe and popped her front feet off of the ground in excitement. Someone to play with, AND a new friend! This was independent thing was turning out to be alright so far.

[horselady]

She lifted her bodice slightly off the ground, striking out her daggers playfully. She landed with a quick thud. I wanna go for a swim actually. How about you? She didn't really wait much for an answer. Pillars were already jogging toward the sea. Waves crashed onto the sand, foam coming off from the impact. Daggers stopped at the tip, waves just touching her daggers. Crania turned around, and maw parted, vocals nickering to her. Come on! Lets swim!

Allegra nodded in agreement and followed Zeere to the edge of the sea. A wave crashed against the shore, covering her small daggers. She tensed and bunched her muscles, then sprang into the water, showering droplets everywhere, and soaking herself up to her knees. She put her nose in the water and blew bubbles and pawed with her long pistons to splash in the water.
Ahhh! I love swimming! she sighed, and layed on her stomach in the shallow, warm water.
So...are you all alone? I mean...if you don't mind me asking. She asked Zerre...blushing at the personal question that had slipped from her dripping maw.

[horselady]

She jumped in with Allegra, daggers piercing the water. The cold water splashed up onto her, shocking her for a moment, but it didn't take her a second to start to play as Allegra did. Pillars thrashed, creating her own foam. Dagger pawed, splashing some water at Allegra. She jumped away, then stopped as Allegra asked her a question. Zeere turned her now dark grey crania to her, forelock plastered upon her facade. I don't have a mate, if that's what you mean. Vocals weren't mad or surprised. She understood how sometimes things slip from your mouth without your knowledge. If you don't mind me asking, are you alone aswell?

Allegra's auds perked as she listened to Zeere's words. I am, alone, yes. She said. I am, alone, for now. she said, stuttereing over her words. Her maw chattered from the water and she got up from her side, creating a wave that washed over to Zeere. As for friends, I am no longer alone, she said happily, blowing through her nostrils and shaking her soaked mane. Her fringe was plastered to her ears and she shook it loose to where it fell in her eyes. She smiled at Zeere and swam to the other side of the river, where she shook the droplets off of her fiery pelt.

Vocals laughed cheerfully at her reply. I am at the upmost agreement with you. 2 peas in a pod! Vocals were laughing as she spoke. She splashed a wave of water back at her, and then swam after her to the other side of the river. She climbed onto the embankment, and shook the cold droplets of water off her. How about we go exploring? I haven't been anywhere but here, but we could stay here a while. Perhaps someone will join us, but we could go exploring, if you want... She was kind of blabering, but she was sure she got her point through.

Well, I also haven't ventured out of this land's borders, and I believe we should need a change of scenery, don't you? Allegra replied to Zeere. I'm a bit of a follower, and a little shy, so would you mind leading us to our next adventure? Allegra blushed, and tried to hide her nose into her chest, but knew that Zeere was going to see her anyway.

[horselady]

Her delicate crania nodded as Allegra spoke. Yes, a change of scenery would be nice. She would lead them somewhere, if that's what Allegra wanted, but she was as new as Allegra and didn't know the areas around here. Well, we could go north first, then south, or vice versa. Way south though are the terras, so probably not there. Too far north and we hit the bounderies, so we could go north first, so we won't have to back track so much... Again she blabbered, but she thought that Allegra was probably already getting used to it by now.

(by north, i just mean going up the boards, and south, going down. Where should they go?)

Let's go north...Allegra hesitated, to Wild Canyons. I think we can definetely find some mischief there. She smilled and flipped her long beige fringe out of her eyes. She reared, bouncing a little on her front legs, and did a half turn to face north. Let's go! she said excitedly, and she wanted to break into a quick run. Oh, I just LOVE exploring. Shall we go now?? she questioned, cocking her head.

[horselady]

Yes, Yes, lets go now! vocals said excitedly. She bounded out of the water, pillars taking large strides as she ran north. She slowed to look at Allegra. Let's go!
