"Ah," he said somewhat coolly. "So you want a proper master? One who will bend and break you to his will? I suppose I could oblige." And yet it was the truth that he didn't seek a casual toy to tease and torment when he was bored. Pyrios wanted a mare... a few mares actually, to start a solid herd. Yes he expected complete obedience, but there was much more to be had as well...

Celtic frowned. "I have never siad that is what i wanted" She glared at him. "Do not put word's in my mouth" She said. "I suppose i am like this becouse all i have had is proper masters" She said queitly after a while. "Why would you care anyways?" She said coldly. "Don't you want some stupid slave who does everything thier told?" Some would think that she was describing herself. Not true.

"No," he said lightly. "I want a slave who will respect me and listen if I tell her that she needs to do something, but not one that will readily jump off a cliff if only I say the word." Pyrios moved nearer, his gaze never leaving hers. "If you don't want the type of master you've described, and yet you have no way of earning complete freedom... what do you expect?"

Celtic glared at him for a few more moments before dropping her gaze and sighing. "I suppose you are right" She said. Really all she wanted to do know was be left alone so she could rest. Even if she wasn't taken home by this stallion she wouldn't forget his words and what they did to her. Celtics ears went back and her head was low, her eyes became as dull as they were when he had first come.

He watched at the fires he had woken were banked once again, and the mare returned to her dull unassuming pose. He knew perfectly well that the spirit hadn't gone out of her, though. Pyrios moved to her side and bumped her with his muzzle, cueing her to move. "You will come with me," the stallion said, as though stating a normal fact. "I think you may come to like it in the lands I have aquired... as long as you behave as expected."

Celtic was slightly surprised at his reply but moved forward none the less. "Yes M'lord" She said quietly as she moved at a fluid pace totally different from her attitude. She flicked her white tail slightly as her darker legs smoothly lifted beneath her. Despite the fact her head was down and her eyes were dull she would be considered very beautiful. She moved forward out of the auction rock occasionally looking at some of the other mares.

ooc: I'm not sure that the lands are officially his yet. It all depends on whether or not the day I posted the challenge counts as one of the three. It's all very confusing.... bleh.
