The crimson stallion escorted his first selection through the dimly lit forest, thick and lush. It was a beautiful journey, but it did require a certain amount of time and patience to find an appropriate path through the greenery. While scouting the lands, Pyrios had often found himself lost at times. He was becoming more and more familiar with the subtle signs to be seen, however. Finally they emerged into the vast meadows that were the heart of his territory. Gentle breezes caused the tall grass to sway and ripple gently. "Welcome to Zephyr," the stag said, his tone warm with a note of pride. "You are welcome to explore, but I do require you remain near enough to hear me if I should call... and I do not suggest entering the forests on your own. It is often difficult finding one's way through them even for one who has spent nearly five years wandering the wildernesses." His point being that even as an experienced traveller he could sometimes get himself misplaced in the woods surrounding. She, having lived as a slave, would probably have even more trouble navigating them.

Celtic nodded her head, her eyes wandering over the land carefully taking in each tree and shrub. She heeded his words fore she probably would get lost in them. Taking a small step towards the middle of the meadow Celtic smiled slightly, the land surely was beautiful and she was...happy in a sense to be here. She still wasn't sure of Pyrois, did he want the fiery Celtic that surely did earn her name, Celtic Tiger, or the soft, unspoken, and broken Celtic which she currently displayed.

"Make yourself at home," he said, stepping past her into the grassy fields. "If you would like, I will show you where best to get water and find shelter... or you can find them for yourself if you prefer." For now, though, he was hungry. Pyrios ripped up a few quick bites of the grass, before finding an appropriate place to gently lower himself and roll in the luxuriant grass. When he rose and shook himself off, he had effectively rid his pelt of the dust that had accumulated over their trip. It felt good, this beginning he'd made for himself.

Celtic looked over very interested. Back at the auction rock he had played games with her and got her to show off her 'Tiger' part of her name but now it's like he doesnt' care whether she was just celtic or much more. Shaking it off she looked at him with the same dull eyes and shook her head. "I am fine M'lord, i will look for them later" She said quietly before walking over to the trees and standing in the shade. She looked forlorn and lonely.

He grazed a while longer before looking up, seeing her standing rather dejectedly beneath the shade of the trees. Somewhat dismayed, he trotted to meet her. "Come now, why so very grim? Surely the place is not displeasing." Even for the kind nature of his words, there was the slightest undertone of incredulity. Pyrios studied her a moment. Perhaps the mere fact that he had given her so free a rein when she was accustomed to being under such close control had given her reason to question herself. She was used to behaving as expected, rather than as she pleased. But he wasn't the type who liked to spend every waking moment telling his slaves precisely where they should be, how they should do something... or other such nonsense.

Celtic looked up at him with confused eyes. "No M'lord it is not" She said simply before returning her gaze to the forest. So peaceful, so quiet, so.......unbelievable. She was confused about who she was. She flew off the handle once before but was quickly put in her place for disrespect. So why was she beginning to think that the Celtic Tiger should reign? Why should Celtic disappear and her true self come out? Shaking her head at the thought she snorted. Her masters would beat her for those thoughts. But why was she going against her training and thinking this then?

He could see the conflict she battled. It was in her dazed expression. Pyrios smiled, and for once it did not seem as though it were entirely to mock or tease. "You aren't certain of what's expected of you," he predicted. It wasn't a question, but a statement. "Already you see that I am not the everyday sort of master... but I will tell you what I expect unconditionally. I expect for you to honor me, and respect me as your master. Easier said than done, because I don't desire false words and actions. I mean for you to trust me in reality, and that will take time."

Celtic looked up and for a moment Celtic Tiger shown through. "I appreciate this" She said in a strong voice that could not belong to the weak willed Celtic within her. "Trust is important but I cannot trust those who imprison me" She said before lowering her head down a dull look returning to her eyes. Maybe if she had hope or someone stronger she would return to her glorious self she once was.
ooc: that was crap XD oh well

"Do not expect for me to offer you freedom," Pyrios returned, being entirely straight with her. There were those who would tantalize their slaves with freedom for years without ever granting it in reality. "I have told you what I expect of you. Follow this and you will live peacefully... but only you can decide how free you will allow your own soul to be." He paused a moment, before speaking again. "I don't know if it is a concern of yours or not, but I will inform you now that any foal you should bear by me will be born free. I am not the type to enslave my own blood." He didn't mention what would happen if the foal weren't his.

Celtic looked up. "I did not expect you to give me freedom" She said codly. "I have merely told you i do not trust those who inslave" She calmed as he spoke. "My only regret is that I can not run free with them" She said queitly. Of course she did not expect him to free her. She was a slave after all and she would be the rest of her life. But oh does she wish she could also run free with her children and feel the joy they would of bieng free.

A small touch of annoyance pricked Pyrios at her words, but for once he did not act on it. She had a certain right to being bitter... at least at first. The mere fact that she was speaking her mind more openly meant that she was emerging from her quiet shell, and that was something. "Zephyr spans a great deal of land," he told her. "You can run until your heart is like to burst if the desire should come to you." He knew it wasn't quite what she had meant, though. At the mention of running, the stallion rocked onto his haunches and struck at the earth with his fores, feeling quite full of himself.

Celtic snorted. "I'm sure" She said before lowering her head to nibble on the grass as Pyrios struck the earth. Raising her head she flicked her ears in interest. Shrugging she took off at a slow canter to the other side where they were before to see what Pyrios would do. Would he think it wrong to run with his slaves? or would he think she was foolish for thinking such? Her eyes went dull agian as she looked back at him confused agian for the bold action she had preformed.

Pyrios was still young and hot blooded enough that he would run very much indiscriminately. When she cantered a ways off, he waited a moment before launching after her, sprinting to catch up and soon passing her as she slowed with uncertainty. He moved fluidly, slowing his own pace and arcing gracefully around to look at her, mischief revealed in every bit of his body language. The chestnut stallion bowed his head closer to his chest and moved into a jouncy trot, mane tossing and dancing like living flames.

Celtic looked nervous but decided to let herself go. Laughing slightly she took off at a gallop bypassing pyrois and giving a small buck as she did. Her white mane and tail flowing and her head up and eyes bright as they were when she spoke out agianst Pyrios the first time they met. She threw her head up in the air, clearly enjoying the fast pace. Slowing her pace ever so slightly she looked back at the stallion grinning almost...Devilishly?

Pyrios gladly lengthened his stride to match hers, throwing his head up with spirit. The mere sight of the mare actually enjoying herself instilled the same sort of ecstasy in him. He could see the light in her eye. It was not so very hidden after all. He galloped a little ways more before slowing... and then coming to a halt. "It's getting dusky," the stallion said. "We had best find a place to bed down."
