So, the trees really were colored as if autumn was eternally breaking over the vast expanse of lush trees. Even within the dead of summer, these towering beasts had chosen their season of choice to wrap their leaves with. She smiled inwardly at nature's own defiance, it was quite refreshing and slightly amusing. Solace had been wandering quite a bit lately, hunting sporadically, and encountering no others of her kind. I was odd in itself that she even had stuck around, but there was no force driving her out as of yet.
Her small, earthy frame was weaving its way through the thick trunks of trees, low branches barely touching the silky pelt along her spine. The coolness of the forest was a relief after walking beneath the blaring sun. She was headed instinctively toward the nearest source or water, which she assumed was the small lake that Malice had told her of not too long ago. She was correct in this, coming upon an edge of the pristine, cool water. Her dial lowered to the glassy surface, orbs watching her wavering reflection before her tongue distorted it. She finished drinking, then sat lightly upon her muscles haunches, just relaxing, watching this brightly painted world before her. |

Dew, feeling quite bored since she was the only pup in this territory, trotted over to this wolf. She had never seen her before and would like to play if she wanted to. "Hia! I am Dew. Who are you?" Her beautiful bright blue orbs glistened as she stared up at the wolf before her. She had met many masters before and she wondered if this one, if she was a master, was different. Like Malice.
