Light gray paw walked silently in the dark starry sky. A pink nose poked on the ground and inhaled picking up bit of dirt but quickly sneezed. It was Phantom again but this time he was just passing by… In another pack’s territory. He didn’t care “I go where I please” he repeated to himself. He was not looking to join a pack, not that he prefer to be alone but that he did not have enough information about the packs to aurally join one. Even so he still warder through other territory as if it were free land…Until he learned his lesson

Ah night. A thing that is calm and peaceful and yet at the same time wild. While the sunnier creatures all head to their slumber, the more vivacious ones appear. The stars that twinkle in the sky are tiny beacons of light, just enough for one being to spot another and head towards them. Well, that's exactly what Ghost was doing then and there. He had been relaxing with other females in the pack and just realized another male canid on the lands.
The onyx male lifted his tail above his hindquaters, ears alert on his head, and his head raised in dominance. Not just any creature would saunter in here and think that they passed freely. Saun and Aleutia had undergone a rigorous scrutinization by Ghost before they even touched a paw on his lands, and here this male was, treading all over the beach. Ghost, so far, didn't approve. If this male thought he owned the place, he was most certainly mistaken. Ghost wasn't going to sit idly and watch this male do whatever he felt like. A low growl came forth from Ghost, but only an attentive ear could hear it.
The large male padded swiftly through the trees that lined the beach, just observing. His yellow-green eyes took in all the minute details he could before the alpha decided to show himself. He watched the other sneeze and Ghost narrowed his eyes slightly. What the heck was he doing here was what Ghost wanted to know. Couldn't he smell the scent borders and see the paw prints from earlier explorations? The slate male rocked his shoulders in their sockets before advancing upon the latter male.
Ghost padded up behind the other lighter male in his signature fashion. His deep black coat was scarcely visable with the exception of the moon's beam illuminating his figure. The ebony male raised a brow and finally spoke. "Salutations male, state your name and excuse for being here,"Ghost said in a murmur. His intention was to give the other a little scare and gain information about him. First impressions mattered a lot with Ghost, and unless proved otherwise, this one hadn't been all too good.

Phantom still walked on in the dark setting. His eyes still set straight carelessly. He blinked and turned his head to the sound that came from above. He didn’t even shutter but stopped and stood in the same place waiting, if this was a trick, walking wouldn’t really help. He breath in deeply and sighed he was hoping to go around easy but it wasn’t that he was afraid but he was cocky. His paws arranged neatly in front of him and his head rose. When the wolf presented himself he found that he was much bigger then expected and much bigger then him. This didn’t change anything, he didn’t even flinch.
“Excuse?”
He laughed then looked Ghost straight in the eyes “ I don’t need an excuse to be here” he growled the sentence then relaxed. In his head his laughing continued “A reason! Who does he think he is?He might be the leader but that doesn’t mean that there is a force field put by the god, I’m simply passing by like he really expected me to take a longer route." This has to be the leader. He’s big but I’ll take him on happily.
Perhaps what Phantom really needed was a good beating. He would never be able to take down this male but in his head he had the image. He would take the leader down and perhaps hunt a bit then take his leave happily. The image was never to be if the leader was in a fighting mood. Phantom was took cocky with his small size but he didn’t care…He wanted to prove himself.

Stupid arrogant male, just who did he think that he was? Ghost's eyes narrowed yet again. So, this male wanted to challenge his authority did he? Right when Ghost was getting comfortable too. Well the male would just have to learn some manners. Nobody just waltzed upon Ghost's lands with a big head and got away with it. The black male swished his tail behind his frame a couple times. He was just contemplating his answer. Ghost had to have a level head about this. Eventhough the other male pranced here thinking he was all that and a bag of potato chips, Ghost needed to be rational.
He couldn't just go fighting everything that walked. He decided to give the inferior male one more chance. The slate male whole-heartedly didn't approve of the fact that the other male looked him in the eyes. That was a clear challenge. But Ghost would remain calm and try once more to sway Phantom to back down. The alpha held his tall stature and took a step foreward. He gave a warning flash of his teeth, accopanied by a deep growl, before covering them once more.
"You, male, are trying my patience.Seeing as I am a more self-restraining wolf than others, I'll give you another chance to answer me properly, before I throw you out,"Ghost snapped. His yellow/green eyes held a fierceness that commonly wasn't seen with him. The male's voice has slightly raised, but went back down. "Now, why are you on my lands uninvited? Only the wolves that I choose are allowed pass those borders, or do you not have a nose and eyes?"Ghost said. If this male was going to become a threat to Ghost's hierarchy, he most certainly didin't approve. He just confessed his love to Saun, and Aleutia and himself had many other hunting trips yet. This male wasn't going to intrude and try and take his land. That wasn't going to happen.
"So what's it going to be, male?"Ghost asked. His posture remained rigid and stiff, signaling he wasn't backing down. The male half expected the other to start a fight. But he would have to wait and see the reaction of the other to be sure.
