Sobibor is rolling right through to the next year! Though we've changed so much, I believe the community and spirit of this site is still as beautiful as the first few weeks it was open. Despite my incredible laziness, the hard working mods have helped make the character acception process clean and easy. Give them a pat on the back if you get a chance.

Well, I would say lots of changes are coming around. But that isn't any news. I'm usually procrastinating and thinking up weird ideas. (for instance, hokey pokey anonymous... it really is what it's all about) One important thing is that we need help making our next main plot! If you have any big ideas that can get members easily involved, please feel free to PM me. Also, I've been considering making a member congress-type thing. Bah. I barely ever go through with anything, so maybe I should form a legion of members who do them for me! Perfect. :P

Also, the Sobibor Scroll needs help! If you signed up to do something, please send it to me or at least post in the scribe shack that you won't be able to do it! I am working very hard on it, and I would appreciate the same from you guys. Thanks!

Love, Lugubrious

-plot will go here when i get off my lazy bum and make one-

Sanura is an amazing member who recently became a moderator. In the beginning, things must have been hard because this was her first RP site. However, she is an incredibly fast learner and within a month she was posting like a pro. She is always on and a truly kind member to all. Congrats, you really deserve it!

The price for beauty; The price for her (Open)
« Thread Started on Oct 10, 2009, 9:05pm »

The sky's rumbled thier displeasure and flashed thier disgust as figures marched in and out of the soon muddy place. Pens at the far left of the place held large beasts with sharp hooves while cages on the far right held smaller beasts with even sharper teeth. Rain poured down from the heavens while a single figure stood emotionlessly moved from one small cage to one just slightly larger. The slightly thick coat of pearly white was soaked and stuck to the femme's slim build.

Ears were pressed forward but they seemed as if they didn't care to hear what was carressing them. Startling blue eyes gazed at nothing as two large brutes escorted the much smaller female to the other cage. It wouldn't take long for the femme to find a home, would be what most would think. But as those orbs of deep blue slid to gaze at the large grey brute beside her he shied away and the other one pushed her roughly into the cage before retreating quickly, eager to get away from those knowing orbs.

This was the fourth time the fae had been in those god-forsaken lands. This was the first time that the rain fell from the heavens and turned the once dry area into a mud pit. A few unfortunate and young stallions struggled through the mud on their way to find a slave, while the older, more familiar with what happens when the heavy rains pounded into the ground, got to the best females first. The female wolf did not care though and she simply stared out into the pouring rain for a few more minutes before turning around and curling into a small, white ball of fur.

This place held no relation to her, no emotional ties and she had no interest in what was going on. The last few wolves had proved to be cruel only for the first few days till her unnerving gaze started to wear and make them skittish and nervous. As if she was going to attack them. That thought recieved a rumbling half laugh half growl before she fell silent again and closed her haunting orbs and fell into a sleep.

//OoC;; Hope you don't mind me posting with another slave. Also, I edited your post above because I couldn't see the grey color at all, but then I realised there was a new skin (I was still in v.5) and now I feel stupid. I put it back. lol\\

You know that smell you get after gym class when you've sweated off most of your deoderant, but there's still that little bit that's trying so hard to mask the scent of BO? That's exactly what the Auction Rock smelled like. Chilly, unforgivable rain pelted the ground in sheets, washing away dired blood, sweat, and urine that would only be replaced in the next few days. Dispite the moisture in the air, the harsh scents still burned in her nose, unescapable.

The she-wolf was nothing more than a black shilloutte in the back of her cage, the cold bars' chill reaching straight through her undercoat and down into her bones. Cold, wild green eyes became illuminated with each flash of lighting, watching as strong, heavy figures passed infront of her enclosure, their feet splashing mud and water between the bars of the front of her cage. Quietly Adelaide chewed on her lip, lowering her muzzle to the ground and peering up through her eyelashes, which gave her a bit more of a view of the faces of the males, rather than just their nasty feet.

There were wolves, and some other giant, thin haired creature. It was as large as an elk, and she sure hoped she wasn't going to be forced to go with one of them. Actually, she would rather die than be forced to do anything. Her eyes followed it as it passed, taking in it's long haired tail and hard, enormus hooves. Light caught her eyes, and the small Mexican Grey whipped her head in the direction it came from, immediately meeting eyes with a large, yellow-eyed brute who had entred her cage. A snarl erupted from deep within her chest, black lips pulling over flashing, ivory canines while her hair stood on end.

He ignored the wordless threats and advanced on her, quickly flanked by two other large males. They left the door open, and Addy lept from her spot, jaws wide as she attempted to snap the face of the leader of the trio. A quick movement from one of the other males sent her flying into the bars of the back of her cage, each fitting against the crease of her vertibrey, stunning her while pain rippeling through her body. She opened her mouth to yelp, but no sound came out. Her eyes fluttered open, but then closed again, bringing on the darkness.

Sharp teeth penetrated the soft flesh and her shoulders burned. Icy rain pelted her from the skies, flattening her coat and making her body heavier. It was actually what woke her up, but it was when she struggled to get to her feet when she realised she was being dragged through the mud by her scruff by two of those big wolves. A low growl emmited from her throat, and she turned her head to weakly try to bite at them, but was headbutted by the third. Darkness threatened her again, but before she could pass out, she felt the cold floor of another cage.

She lay there, unmoving, as she waiting for the spinning and pain to stop. Though, for some reason, she knew she wasn't the only inhabitant of this enclosure. Even moving her eyes hurt, but she managed to look at the back of the cage, catching sight of a white ball of fur. Adelaide didn't care who it was, or even if it was alive. If it wasn't, maybe it would finish her off.

The rain drowned out much of the commotion that took place outside of the little 'safe' box as she would call it. Her calm breathing were the only thing that she heard as she concentrated on each inhale and exhale of oxygen. It was cold in the small metal cage, cold yet dry and that was the best she could ask for even if she wouldn't have ever asked. As she lay upon the cold, hard ground with her soft tail wrapped around her feet and muzzle she faintly heard the sound of approaching feet. Her ear barely twitched as another was forced into the small space with her. A few moments past before she uncurled and gazed over at the new comer with fading interest. What unfortunate themes had befallen this one?, she thought carelessly before her gaze slid from the female to the pouring rain outside.

It looked as if it would rain for days as the droplets pounded into the earth with no intention of yielding. A frown creeped its way upon her whitened maw and Ascrite murmured wordless sounds to herself. Mental thoughts with a bit of audio were about as much as you could get out of her. Her silent musing spent some of the time that stretched out between the too wolves until her blue eyes slid back to the other wolfess. Who are you? Her eyes asked, narrowing with slight suspicion. She really wasn't suspicious but she had noticed that to get her question across a few choice emotions were in need. Her gaze held for a few more moments before they slid back to the desolate place outside the steel cage.

Ascrite seemed to lose interest soon after her silent question was put out and she lay towards the cage door, her gaze flickering from one passing creature to the next. The orbs occasionally narrowed with hate or widened slightly with boredom but never any other emotions. She was not the type to let her emotions escape and as she lay in the cage with the other female she wasn't about to start. A passing brute carelessly stomped within the mud close to the cage, sending a spray acrossed the females white nose.

Orbs of deep blue narrowed in rage and she leapt at the cages bares, fangs bared and snarl ripping from her throat. The brute whipped around to snarl back at Ascrite and a staring contest ensued. For many moments the two stared, deep blue and hard amber. But in the end the brute folded, eyes falling to the ground in discomfort as the raging blues continued to stare. She stood like that for many more seconds before letting her fur that had bristled lay against her and her lips cover her fangs. She sat down and stared out at the rain that poured down, ignoring the female beside her.

Immy? And just letting you know, Jazzy's character isn't in this thread anymore. She started a different thread where Loco claimed her.

B A R O Q U E

The winter's soft sun sparkled from above as a solid built male made his way carefully down the slope that lead to the desolate auction rock. This time of year slaves came less and less, mainly due to the lack of wolves rounding up the lessers. But there were always slaves to be found and taken away, whatever purpose was held in store such fated wolf. Baroque's dark brown optics gazed around the harsh climate, his eye searching, investigating each wolf for a possible selection that would do his offspring good. The wolf knew he would need a female to carry his young, a female to nurse them to pup hood and teach them to grow into strong, respectable wolves. This was his top priority right now.

It didn't matter if he liked her or not. Sure, it might contribute to the overall factor and where she ended up in the end, but it cared little to him whether she wanted to play his game or not. What Baroque wanted, Baroque got. It was that simple. [unfinished]
